Simple and very fun. Addictive once I unlocked the splitter coin.

Great little game that needs some desperate QoL improvements. The camera is extremely sluggish and takes at least a second to respond to movement input. I'm currently on the third stage and sometimes run into an issue where I can't move the camera left/right.

It's a giant pain in the ass to select anything, I often find myself clicking an object five time in order to select it. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally deleted the wrong object because I thought I had the right one selected. Which reminds me, the delete all objects button should have a confirmation window pop up. I spent 45 minutes setting up a level then accidentally hit delete all instead of delete balls and oops all my work is gone. Also, it would be nice if there was a left over ghost image for an object I moved so I know where it used to be, it would help a bit when trying to figure out bounce angles.

Lastly, I sometimes find placing a new object at the end of a path I made somehow affects the path itself, and all of a sudden the balls aren't bouncing how they were. It seems inconsistent so maybe I'm doing something wrong, I swear it mostly affects what direction balls bounce off apples.

I gave the game a negative review but I feel all the issues I mentioned can be easily fixed by a competent developer, so I'll happily cross out my complaints and change my recommendation as they get fixed. Unless the game is a cheap cash grab, in that case screw you for making something I enjoy this much :P

Edit: I already figured out what the issue is with the camera. If you pan to the side of a stage and keep holding that direction the camera stops, but the "position" of the camera keeps updating. In other words, if I reach the right side of the screen and keep holding right for 3 seconds, I need to hold left for 3 seconds for the camera to start moving left again.

Only took a day for the dev to fix everything, very impressed :) It can still be a little difficult to select objects but I assume it's because I have balls bouncing all over the place :P

It's a neat little idler that kind of reminds me of rube goldberg machine games like the Incredible Machine or its flash derivatives. It is indeed satisfying to watch number go up while you tinker with your chaotic ball-sorting machine.

Ascension Major Update

Satisfying Simulator is now three days old on Steam! To celebrate, I've completed and enabled the Ascension System which allows you to spend Achievement Points on Endgame rewards that speed up idle progression and make the challenge stars a little more possible without requiring cheesing or tremendous idling. This system is unlocked once you reach 7 🏆 so you are still required to complete the first objective on Deep Blue before you can complete a run. --Brawler

The Road to 250 Achievements

After over 6 months of work my first independent Game has been released! I had hoped to integrate all 250 achievements into Steam before the release but there is a verification process that Satisfying Simulator must complete first. Achievements that are obtained in game but not yet available through Steam will be awarded as soon as the verification process is complete and I can finish integrating the rest of the achievements through steam. Happy bouncing! -- Brawler
