Orebits pairs idle mining with roguelite progression, letting you bounce a pickaxe through asteroids while upgrading tools and unlocking tech tree branches. Between runs, you'll gather resources and send them back to Earth for permanent upgrades, while gravitational anomalies add dynamic obstacles to navigate. It's designed for players who enjoy incremental progression mixed with exploration and the satisfaction of breaking through obstacles across procedurally varied space runs.

Major Demo Update Now Live | See You at Steam Next Fest

Hello Operators,We're excited to announce that Orebits will be participating in Steam Next Fest!Since launching our first public demo, we've received a lot of valuable feedback from players. We've been reading your comments, watching your gameplay and discussing your suggestions. Over the past weeks we've focused on improving the experience from the very first asteroid all the way to the end of the demo. Here are some of the biggest improvements in the updated demo:New Active Mode & Heat Meter Push your Clickaxe into overdrive for increased mining speed and critical damage. But be careful: the harder you push, the more heat you generate. Overheat the system and you'll need to cool down before you can continue mining.Improved Onboarding New tutorials, objectives and guidance help you learn Orebits' core mechanics while preserving the sense of discovery that makes incremental games so rewarding.Faster Progression, Better Balance The early game now gets you into the action more quickly, upgrades feel more impactful and later asteroids offer a greater challenge.Improved Research & Prestige Flow Delivering resources back to Earth is now easier to understand, more rewarding and better integrated into the overall progression system.A More Polished Mining Experience We've improved progression pacing, menu unlocks, the anomaly minigame, the introduction sequence, the demo ending and many other parts of the game.Lots of Bug Fixes & Quality of Life Improvements From UI improvements to accessibility options and gameplay refinements, we've addressed many issues reported by players. One of the most common pieces of feedback we received was that some of Orebits' systems weren't always clear enough. This update is our biggest step yet toward making the game easier to learn while maintaining the depth, experimentation and satisfying progression we love about the incremental genre. This is the version we'll be bringing to Steam Next Fest, and we can't wait to see what you think!Thank yo...
