i like the general idea - but:

the UI is bad and confusing
i dislike the pixelated rough-looking outlines of everything
you need WAY too many numbers to complete a level - constructing giant fields of the same number doesn't feel clever or rewarding
the game gets repepetitive quickly - my brain is urging me drop the game after completing 30% of the achievements
later levels also dont get more challenging or harder to complete, just more work and larger constructions
you can't really reuse any of your contructions when you complete a level - this means you will delete your entire setup every 10 minutes
i think a massive improvement would be if you could unlock more operators and tools, and also unlock existing stuff earlier. edit: changing my review to positive because the dev is a good boy

About This Game
Node Math is a simple, idle-factory game about combining numbers with math operators, unlocking new stuff, and making money go brrr!
What players are saying
The game is a cool concept and was fun for the first bit once you understand the controls. Then the game is very repetitive and easy with a lot of copy and pasting. The tutorial seems to give players all of the fun that the game has to offer.
Space is the biggest constraint. Don't go into this thinking you get a sandbox to play in. You don't get nearly as much space as even the screenshots advertise. I'd like this a whole lot more if I had more space to use so I could make interesting formulas. Instead, I'm constantly thinking about how to most efficiently make the numbers needed so that MAYBE it won't take hours to get the next minor upgrade. Play the demo. I imagine you'll get a feel for the entire game that way.
