Interesting concept and an interesting story, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what else you guys end up making.
I'm not sure if you're looking for feedback, so if you're not I'll just say well done on this project, it's tight and interesting, and it's certainly a hell of a lot better than I could do! There are a couple of things I think could be tweaked/added however, which I'll list below if you're interested:
- a quick popup text at the start saying 'WASD to move' would be helpful. People who don't play video games don't automatically know that WASD is almost always the movement controls, and might have a frustrating first few minutes as they try to figure out how to go down the hallway.
- the animation when you climb over the gate causes the camera to clip through the ceiling for a brief moment
- A quit to desktop button would be good!
- In my personal opinion the character movement speed was a little too speedy, I would've preferred him to just be a little slower, but that's completely subjective to me.
Again, well done on this project, I enjoyed playing through it very much! looking forward to seeing what else you guys cook up.
