Rock and Stone tasks you with mining rocks as an idle dwarf and periodically selling loot on the community marketplace. Progression centers on acquiring gear upgrades that provide incremental stat boosts to your mining effectiveness. The game is designed for players who enjoy minimal-interaction background grinds, though reviewers report that advancement feels stalled and rewards arrive infrequently with negligible impact on gameplay.
About this game
Rock and Stone is an idle background mining game where you play as a dwarf, mining rocks for valuable loot. You can sell your loot on the community market for profit or use it to get new gear and gold. Equip different gear—from common to legendary—to boost your stats and mine even more effectively.

It took me about 90 minutes to obtain my first item, a rock. This rock didn't give any real bonuses in mining the rock. It took about another 90 minutes to get the next item, an actual upgrade to the pick. But that upgrade only gives a 10% increase to critical damage, so the small chance of hitting ~2 goes to ~2.2. It's going to take another 90 minutes to get what so far seems like it's going to be another very minor upgrade. This game does not satisfy that progression itch that other idle clickers does.
This is the first review I have ever given. This game is so bad that it motivated me to write one. And even seeing this as a "review" would be a stretch because there really is not much to review.
Basically, there is 0 progress. None at all. All the drops, which take about 1 hour between them, make no difference at all. There is nothing at all happening in the game. You bash away at a stone for ages, and once it breaks, you get an "upgrade" that will make zero difference. That is it. That is the "game".
I have no idea what the idea here is, but it must be some sort of scam. Even as "free", this game is not worth it.
In my opinion this is just another game that wants to get rich via the steam marketplace transactions(for each transaction made, the game dev gets his share).
Everything just feels empty. And even the few graphical assets are made with AI.
