Flappy Witch

I liked Flappy Witch more than I expected. The soundtrack and pixel art create a charming and nice atmosphere. Although the story is very short and simple, it kept my interest and got the job done while making you want to see what happens next. The design has a retro look and feel where the game doesn’t over explain everything or constantly throw feedback at you, which I personally liked. I also like that it supports multi languages, including Arabic. Not many games bother with that and it was very good to see. The ability to change control keys is also nice to have. Gameplay wise it is a Flappy Bird/Helicopter style game which is simple, fun, and challenging, but after a while like a lot of repetition heavy arcade games, it starts to wear on you after a couple of hours. There are a few things that could be better. I like the UI, but it could use a lot of refinement. For example when you move to the next level, the transition is does not feel very smooth. When you jump off the screen from top/bottom and restart the character I like that you instantly restart, however with some type of transition, either visual or audio, would make it smoother. Overall, I think the game is worth finishing.

Yeah, it's alright. It's like a 36 minute game if you dont get perma death'ed. i thought the resets were infinite and doodles around enough to where i got killed on the last level. Gotta start the game from start again when you die

Really fun game! The artwork is beautiful and the music fits the theme very well too. My coordination skills aren't the greatest, so I kept hitting the top or bottom of the screen haha. That being said, I think it's one of those games where I could do better with practice. This would do really well on mobile too.
