Idle & Incremental Lovers strongly recommends Criticality :
When destroying stuff, chain reaction is the best, right? Well, Criticality is all about that dopamine, and it's amazing! Great satyrical story and amazing jazzy soundtrack are the icing on the cake.
+ When many other idlers only have a chain lightning mechanism, this one focuses on chain reaction as the main gameplay element. They can happen in numerous ways.
+ Skill tree is ginormous, whith a great variety of perks.
+ Some prestige skills allow you to go more idle (both offline and online), which is a great thing if you're that type of incremental enjoyer. The runs can also be fully played idle (with less XP reward, of course)
+ The writing is particularly tasty, e.g. " You will be pleased to know that your previous medical condition has been resolved. Specifically, your full-body cancer was cured by removing the body" XD
+ Multiple high quality jazzy/lounge tracks.
- If I had one minor grip, it would be the prestige system. You're pretty much incentified to "prestige, start 1 short run, don't upgrade and go straight back to prestige, rinse and repeat". It's the fastest way to progress (cause you gain so much prestige points just from this first run), but it's not really enjoyable, it's a chore.
What did the Big Boy Atomic Bomb say to the Nuclear Bomb when they met?
Nuke, I am your father.
* Overall, it's a pretty good game worth buying at full price! *
