You grow a virus colony by gathering biomass and automating expansion across five distinct stages, each introducing new mechanics to keep progression fresh. This mouse-driven incremental strikes a balance between idle mechanics and active gameplay, though the full experience skews toward hands-on grinding rather than pure passive gains. Best suited for players who enjoyed Nodebuster and want a compact, mechanically varied incremental rather than an endless progression loop.

Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends DO NOT FEED THE VIRUS, one (if not) the best incremental so far this year!
Hands down the best game in the particular genre inspired by Nodebuster! Absolutely phenomenal how the game totally reinvents its gameplay at each of the 5 "stages". Smooth, elegant, perfectly paced.
+ Each stage brings new ways to feed the virus, introducing new gameplay mechanisms to gather biomass and a fresh new specific upgrade tree fitting the new player experience.
+ Pacing is remarkable, as you always have between 2-5 upgrades to buy, and each stage could be finished in around 45 minutes. Then it's the next stage, and a completely new way to play the game! I challenge you to get bored playing this.
+ Runs are short, brilliantly fluid and never lag.
+ It's a visual delight.
+ Great sound design, SFX is particularly successful but never invasive.
+ User interface is fabulous. Everything is clear, intuitive and elegant.
=> Waw, just waw! I'm jealous of people who haven't bought it yet, cause they're about to discover a fabulous game!
*My girlfriend disappeared when she got a virus on her computer one day, and never came back. I guess she ransomware...*

Gotta say no here , i think 6€ for 3 hours ( with some afk time ) is just to expensiv .

Other then that its allright id say im not a big fan of those linear games , and i dont quite understand the need to make it chapters .

Achievements also dont scratch the 100% itch since its just finish the game stuff .

Demo was pretty good and satisfying. Full version is grindy, requires a lot of active babysitting to play levels and that's not fun. Wanted to refund the game but got no luck.

Roguelike Update – Achievement Removal

After spending some time reading your feedback on the Roguelike update (Ascension), I’ve decided to remove the Steam achievements that were added with it.The intention behind this update was to add optional content and increase the overall value of the game. The Roguelike Mode was meant as an additional way to play, and the achievements were introduced to complement that experience. The response to this change has been more negative than I expected. I genuinely thought this would be a positive addition to the game, so seeing how it was received has been disappointing.I’m also aware that some players already invested time into unlocking these achievements, and a few reached out asking for help with them. I know that removing them after that effort is frustrating, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience this causes.Even if it’s not an easy decision, I believe removing these achievements is the right move for the game going forward. The Roguelike Mode itself will remain unchanged for now. Thanks to everyone who took the time to share feedback.
