I enjoyed my ~2 hours with this game, and the main reason I am recommending it is because the developer responded to a Steam-related bug within
hours - truly remarkable. The developer seems to have moved on to another project but there is so much potential that this game just doesn't quite hit, so here's a quick list of some major things I would like to (but probably never will) see implemented:
- Money shows income and expense, food only shows usage - one has no idea if production is net positive except by watching supply over a few "cycles"
- Food production and usage does not line up with stated "cycles"
- There is no way to know the function of a building without trying to build it (no "query")
- Homes can catch fire (and they will, often) - it costs 500 to repair but there is no downside (besides the visual) to just letting them burn - forever
