It has a neat premise, but the very limited upgrades and lack of actual prestige upgrades limit this to being a mere shadow of what it could be.

It launched on Steam Early Access a week ago, and getting it in front of players has been incredibly rewarding.But this game wouldn't exist without the community. Your feedback shaped the balance, guided the features, and helped me understand what this kind of game could actually be. It felt wrong to keep the code behind closed doors when so many of you had a hand in what ended up in it.There's something else I want to be upfront about: Huebound was written entirely with AI assistance. AI coding tools helped write and debug the game code from start to finish. I think that's worth being transparent about — not as a disclaimer, but as something I genuinely believe you deserve to know. The design, the 256-color palette, the recipe system, the procedural audio and visuals — those are mine. But the process of building it looked different than traditional solo development, and now you can see exactly how it came together.The project is built with Godot 4 and GDScript.
