Kur drops you into a procedurally deepening underworld where your party auto-battles through Mesopotamian-themed dungeons while you manage loot, craft gear, and hunt for rare artifacts. The game compresses into a minimal tracker window, letting you leave it running in the background as you accumulate resources and push further down the endless descent. Ideal for players who want genuine progression from an idle game without spending money on shortcuts.

Heroes Choose each hero's look: every class now has a female version. Pick male or female for each hero, at the start or anytime later from the Party window. New running animations for all heroes and heroines. Legs and arms now move naturally. The Hunter got a new look. Monsters & Companions Redrawn running and combat animations for every monster that walks, plus all public companions. Large monsters now stand slightly back in melee, so your front hero is always visible. Companions stay clearly visible behind the party during fights. Combat Battle line: heroes and monsters now fight in formation. Melee fighters close in, ranged fighters strike from afar, and travel continues from where the fight ended. Fallen heroes come back as soon as their timer ends, even in the middle of a fight. Danger warning shows only before the floor's elite or guardian fight. Balance Monster poison no longer refreshes all its stacks at once. Each stack fades on its own timer. Domain Echo now reduces damage taken from elites by 5% in every Domain. Camp New Market location in the camp. Trading between players is coming soon. The Vanguard class now unlocks through the Seal. Interface New bottom bar art for every Domain, with the KUR logo always crisp at any window size. Minimal mode: names never overlap and damage numbers stay inside the game strip, perfect for a small window in the corner of your screen. Windows fixes Esc now closes management windows. Windows now recover automatically if they crash. Scrollbars and window edges fixed. DLC Deathspeaker and Shade classes, the Supporter Pack, Lykoi and Apkallu are now listed on Steam. Ashipu will be free. A "Get on Steam" button opens the DLC page right inside the game. The Supporter Pack adds a fifth storage tab. Thanks for following the descent so far. See you below!

Kur: Endless Descent is now in closed beta, with a small group of players descending into the depths alongside us. Why a closed beta? This stage is essential for polishing the game before Early Access opens to everyone. Our testers play every day, and their feedback shapes what we change next: Combat balance and the pace of the descent Bugs, crashes and performance on Windows and macOS Readability of windows and menus, at any screen size Animations, sound and the overall feel of each hero and monster What you can expect We'll keep posting regular updates here, so you can follow everything that comes out of the beta. The first one is coming right after this post. Want to follow along? Add Kur: Endless Descent to your wishlist and follow the game on Steam to get notified as soon as Early Access opens. Thank you for your support. The descent has only just begun.

Posts come from Steam's official announcements feed.
