TASMON is a background RPG that runs minimally in your taskbar while you work. Your monsters automatically battle for resources and eggs, which you collect to expand your roster of 156 species through evolution and awakening mechanics. Between passive progression, weapon forging, and community-driven weekly updates, it rewards players who enjoy long-term collection goals without demanding active attention.

Don't support AI slop.
Gen AI was used in multiple artworks and character designs.
So far so good, in my opinion they need to rework the egg drop rate from monsters since i didn't get one yet, but the gameplay looks solid, the devs are trying to communicate with their playerbase and make the changes that their gamers want to see.
Edit: later on it's easier to get eggs to hatch new monsters, harder stages have higher egg drop %.
■ Hero No. reset A bug could cause a Hero challenge to be recorded under a different difficulty than the one actually played. Today's update fixes this. Because of this, Hero Numbers for Hero Series Act 2 (Shiva / Fenrir) can no longer be told apart from legitimate ones. We have therefore cleared all Act 2 Hero Numbers. Act 1 Hero Numbers (Fox / Dragon) are unchanged Your partner and its awakening level are untouched. Only the number was cleared After updating, eligible partners are re-issued a number automatically on a later launch No.0001 is open again. We're sorry to those who already held a number. We had no way to tell legitimate numbers apart from the rest, so rather than remove only some of them, we chose to start over with a clean slate. ■ Alchemy could sell your Hero partner The "alchemize weak non-party tasmon" button in the Craft window could sell your Hero partner. A partner recruited on Normal is Rare tier, which put it inside that filter. After today's update, bulk alchemy excludes: Hero partners ♥ Favourites Awakened tasmon Tasmon in your party Selling tasmon one at a time works exactly as before. If you already lost your partner this way, it returns automatically the next time you launch the game after updating. You don't need to do anything. ■ An apology gift To apologise for the trouble, we're sending everyone 1 Astral Coin and 1 Divine Coin. You can claim them from the ✉ mail in game. ■ Please update first Hero Numbers can only be issued to an updated game. On an older version the number stays "pending" (the game itself plays normally). Your partner coming back and your Hero Number being re-issued both happen automatically on launch after the update. Please update before claiming the gift too. Steam updates automatically when you launch it. Thank you to everyone who reported these.
🎉 Headline features Hero Series Vol.2 - Shiva, the Frostbloom Spear Princess / Fenrir, the Verdant Gale Wolf-King Knight Two new heroes are waiting for you, both in their fallen form. Just like Vol.1, it is a seven-rank journey, and at the end one of them joins you as a partner. You can challenge it after you clear Torment. Until then it is visible but locked Your partner joins as a Rare on Normal, and as an Arcana on Death Conquer all seven ranks and you get a homecoming illustration unique to that hero Hero numbers start from 1 for each hero. Shiva No.0001 and Fenrir No.0001 each exist only once in the world (Vol.1 numbering continues as before) Both Vol.2 heroes come with a new mechanic. Each one changes how damage reaches you, and neither works like any of the existing 16. Shiva - Part of the damage you take is frozen and dealt in pieces over a few seconds (the total is unchanged) Fenrir - Damage that pierces the shield is split evenly across the whole party instead of landing on one member Starter Pack: Parchment & Woodcut is now on sale This pack is the only one that unlocks hero content on top of the cosmetics.
