MatchyGotchy is inspired by the nostalgic and famous virtual pets from the 90's such as the Tamagotchi.
A game where you hatch an egg and take care of your own virtual pet.

MatchyGotchy gives you the ability to take care of 7 different adorable space pets.
All pets come with the same options such as:

Food & Snacks: You can feed your pet, or give it some candy.
Clean & Health: Where you take care of their room, the pet's hygiene and sicknesses
Games: This is where you can play the traditional Left/Right Tamagotchi game.
Selfie: this option makes your cute space pet pose and make some silly meme faces for on your pictures.
This option will also show some of your pets information, such as likes and age, all put together in one social media looking profile.

You can grow your pet by building space ships with it, Those will fly off to the planet Xanadu.
When enough space ships have arrived on Xanadu, you'll be able to have a pool party.
Sadly you won't see the actual pool party, But I assume they are having one, since i have sent enough ships there.

The game looks extremely cute and colorful, and the things that you are able to do work perfectly.
The sounds fit nicely with the space pets, and they are often cute but can get heartbreaking when it's in desperate needs.
I enjoyed collecting the achievements and I look forward to the next upcoming content for this game.
It would be nice to see more mini games added, since it only has 1 so far and it does get boring and repetitive fast.

This cute FREE game is a nice time killer and worth checking out.

TL:DCTR - Only get it for the achievements and only if you really want 20 more for your numbers otherwise avoid this game, it is nothing special and is only living off the "it is similar to old keychain pets" which it fails at.




Very boring IMO, each star acts the same as the other part from looking different and them taking longer each egg to build the rockets.
There is no reason to use the later stars once you got the single achievement for them as the first 3 stars are used for the other achievements which are forced padding.
The game would be abit more interesting if the stars had different perks such as the Gardener having a cleaner room for longer and the doctor star not getting sick.


Each star takes 30 mins to fall a sleep and the mini-game to make them happy again it just plain boring.
If you had a selection it be fine but you have the same, guess left or right game to do every single time! And their happiness drops like mad, yes you can feed them candy to get it back up but then they have a sugar-rush which means you cannot do nothing with them until it is over. How fun right?

I say no to getting this, yes it is meant to be similar to the old virtual keychain pets we had as children but they were more interesting to have than this game which is just an idle game if you got nothing else to do on your computer. They had other mini-games, the pets looked abit more interesting than having these plain boring shapes playing dress-up as the pet which just build rockets and that is it. They don't change nor morph and do nothing different compared to the last one you hatched.

Not bad but it just does not hold my attention and I don't see it holding others attention because it is mostly an idle game with no real pay-off compared to the other idle games out there that have more for you to actually do. At best I see this as a small promotion for their other Matchy-game which is coming up but does not make me excited for it seeing how plain this game is and its lack of "fun" things to do with your "star".

A very bad game at being a pet simulator, your pets need to be taken care every 10 minutes, not fast enough for active play, not slow enough for passive. Also, they lack any interesting activities.
