We’re back with another update for My Desktop Sister 💻💕 This patch focuses on fixing achievement issues, improving character models, and adding more language support so even more players can enjoy spending time with their sister. ⚙️ Patch Notes 🛠️ Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where the "For Me?" achievement would not unlock even after buying a costume. Updated the costumes for "Sister Hong", "Sweet Dream", and "Verdant Visitor" to resolve an issue with their models, where their faces would incorrectly cast shadows. August 10 Patch

Added a couple of prestige upgrades to improve cash and essence gain in the late game.Added ball of yarn! Play with your kittens with the yarn! You can click the ball of yarn 5 times to get a buff that doubles base grass value and essence gain for a couple minutes. Added hay. Hay accumulates (up to 3) on the right side of the grass field. You can click the hay to feed your animals and gain a buff that also doubles base grass value and essence gain for 1 minute. The game has a proper icon now instead of showing up as a generic windows exe icon in the taskbar. Hopefully the game isn't too easy now... I might tweak the numbers in the future, we'll see how it goes.

Heads in the Cloud (Patch #18)

Hey y'all! We've got a huge update here for you that we hope you'll enjoy testing out. You can now create logins for PacaPomo! Almost exclusively used for manual cloud saves at the moment, but we'll be iterating on the feature over time. Cloud save is in! Once you manually upload a save from the Advanced tab in Settings, you've be able to transfer that save to any platform. If you run into any issues or have any suggestions, please let us know! That being said... Some changes you can expect to see since the last build: - You can now log into PacaPomo with Email/Password - Cloud save implemented - Totally overhauled all the order board entries - There is now a mini narrative each villager has through the order board - Added a button to Pause/Resume the timers - Added Peppers as a growable plant ... and much more, which you can read here on Discord Stay Tuned. Finally, that mountain of coins you’ve been saving will have a purpose.The luresLures can be equipped and will cost coins each time you catch something. They are used to highly increase the chance of catching specifc fish. For example:If a level 6 fish in its silver variant don't want to show up, you can use lures to greatly increase its appearing chance. Specifically, you'll use the lure for Level 6 fish, and the Silver Lure.Btw, lures can also be used to boost your chances of finding specific items and treasures! (Yes, those level 2 silver coins won't be difficult to find anymore!)You can buy the Lure Box from the shop at a high cost. It is an end-game item after all.Boost to charmsCharms have been updated too! Resource Cap System Updated

Previously, when the stored resources exceeded the maximum limit, the amount was forcibly reduced to the limit. This caused inconvenience, as players had to make multiple withdrawals from the bank if they had a large amount stored.Thanks to a player’s idea, you can now hold more resources than the maximum limit, removing this inconvenience. While at the maximum cap you will no longer gain additional resources, you can still withdraw from the bank and hold resources above the limit to use them freely.We are also aware of an issue where, after several hours of play, adventurers sometimes stop during combat or thieves fail to spawn in defense battles even though enemies remain. I have been playing for hours myself to track down the cause, but have not yet been able to reproduce it. I will continue investigating.For now, I have added a temporary fix to the relevant code in an attempt to prevent this bug from occurring.I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and truly thank everyone who continues to play and support my humble game 🥹

Small Farm and Special Meal Feature Added

To help you play Hard Mode more efficiently, a new feature has been added to the right side of the settlement where you can offer special meals to adventurers or guards to enhance their abilities.Special meals provide stat boosts for 1 hour. When active, a circular UI will appear at the top left to indicate the buff, and it disappears when the effect ends.To offer these meals, you’ll need to grow some support ingredients in farms. Up to 3 farms can be used, and you can grow the same crop repeatedly. To grow a different crop, the current one must first be harvested.If you encounter any bugs or have feedback, feel free to reach out via the discussion page or Discord. This patch presents a new All-In screen, a UI overhaul (mostly for the benefit of mobile), and a new challenging difficulty mode! Let's get into it. All-In Screen Changes All-In, which unlocks at level 6, was originally intended as a bit of a chance game, where it had a chance to succeed or fail to upgrade your carriage. It eventually ended up as a simple way to mass-upgrade carriages. The interface for All-In is changing to be in line with this new way of thinking: Using All-In is now in general much faster than before, as it requires almost no work to calculate the result. You can now upgrade a carriage as much as you want in a single All-In attempt, for example, upgrading a Sniper from level 5 to 10, as long as you have enough gold. UI Overhaul The UI had to change a lot to accommodate mobile, but I also wanted to make better use of the screen space anyway. One of my favorite changes is how the information displays in the top-right of the side bar during gameplay -- it now uses simple icons instead of tiny text. If you prefer the old display, though, you can click on it to toggle it. 'Impossible' Difficulty The new "Impossible" difficulty is a special challenge mode. Lyca - 4 Months later

Hey everyone! It's been a while, I wanted to make a check-in post to celebrate the success of the game and show my appreciation to you all for it! Lyca released exactly 4 months ago on April 7, and I made the game alone in about 4 months (mostly part-time). I never expected the game to resonate so much with people, but over 28,000 people have bought the game as of today, which is far beyond my expectations!
