Idle Gem Quest pairs retro pixel art with a straightforward clicker loop: tap to battle monsters or let automation handle combat while you accumulate coins and upgrade stats. You'll unlock class switches with distinct mechanics and chase achievements across multiple playthroughs, though progression feels front-loaded with unlocks tapering off. Best suited for casual players who enjoy light progression games and can overlook some reported bugs for a low-cost, short-term distraction.
About this game
Retro inspired clicker game. Click to battle monsters or leave idle to auto battle. Collect coins, upgrade stats, level up, and slay bigger monsters. Earn coins and unlock bonuses to ramp up your income. Switch between 5 classes with unique gimmicks. Achievements galore for every character.
What players are saying
Lots of very annoying bugs though, ranging from small janky sprite hiccups to borderline stealing chest rewards from you (I've had this game's premium currency drop from chests multiple times but it never added to my counter)
The artstyle is passable but the sheer differences between pixel count of different sprites looks ugly. Same with blurry sprites which show up way more often than they should. Even the text isn't safe with some very noticeable typos.
If you like idle games this one will be a decent distraction between other releases, but could really use a few patches. I'd give it a neutral rating if I could but overall I did have fun and it's cheap enough to recommend.
I think that's a good sign.
