Nomad Idle automatically pits you against endless enemy waves while you distribute stat points, equip gear, and unlock passive skills and summons to grow stronger. The game layers a story progression across multiple characters, though player feedback suggests limited build variety, shallow skill trees, and grinding requirements that obscure meaningful strategic choices.

Dev seems to treat criticism as attacks.... dont think there will be any improvement to the game

The game is a little weird as there isn't really much if any player choice that's meaningful.

  • You equip and use all gear that drops so there's no meaningful choice about what gear to use
  • Skill tree is very short and branches have almost no depth to them. it's VERY easy to just get everything, so i needn't think "do i want x? or do i want y?" as i can just get both.
  • Stat caps being so low takes away the option for more specialised builds. The rate of cost increase to up the stat cap increases so fast as to also hinder specialisation
  • There's nothing to guide me or give me a goal to work towards other than finish this stage and get to the next. I'd love some kind of long term goal to work towards. At the moment there isn't really anything..

Game does have promise, but as of right now it feels lacking in a lot of key areas. I'll keep playing though since at the time of this review i'm only 9ish hours in and for all i know the game could open up much more later on, if it does i'll adjust this review to match.

tl;dr kind of shallow, has promise, curious to see where it goes.

Game feels half baked like they made a successful demo then copy pasted it 4 times afterwords for a easy cash grab. The story stops almost instantly and becomes copied 7 times so each character has the exact same thing. The balance is wonky as hell where you HAVE to farm out everything that at first appears optional just to progress since the skill tree stops almost instantly and so do pet choices.

Over half of my play time was trying to get the achievement to max all equipment and the game had ended 80 hours before that.

Avoid if you want something you wont reach the end of the good part of in 2 hours.

New Incremental Game and Better Regional Pricing!

Hello! Hope you're all doing well. Today, I'd like to announce that my latest incremental game has been released. Kin and Conquest:I also want to announce that I've updated the pricing model for Nomad Idle. It's come to my attention that I was using an old model that had very unfair pricing conversion in many countries. I've rectified this by making the price more balanced across the board, with many countries seeing a sharp drop in price.Thank you.

Nomad Idle 1.1.1c

- Fixed: Adventurer's Evo A (Full Circle) was not properly destroying enemy projectiles. - Fixed: Equipment requiring Cloth was disproportionately high and many pieces of Equipment were deviated from their requirements starting at Tier 3 by mistake. You'll notice some Equipment now requires different things, but this is now more well-rounded as it should've always been. - Fixed: Activity Log shows incorrect level when the player levels up.
