As an established Steam game reviewer, it's inevitable that people sometimes approach me in public. One comment I get quite often is "Sir, you can't just sit in here and not order anything." I always think to myself, as I grab my laptop and head out looking for free WiFi, "These people depend on me, and I'm not about to let them down." That is why I want to assure review readers everywhere that Otter reviews do not use AI in any form. Each is carefully crafted from the finest Oak, and there is nothing artificial or intelligent about them. That is my solemn vow. To you. Speaking of Oak, why not pass some time burning a few logs in Fireplace Simulator, which is one of the fireplace simulators available on Steam. It has a remarkably low price for a free game, and lets you look at a pretend fire. That's a pretty sweet deal if, like me, you're not legally allowed to have a real fire. Judges don't know everything though, and while I'm certain there would never be another incident, Fireplace Simulator fills just enough of that void inside you to keep you out of prison. Aside from the fire, you can chop wood, read a book, or if you're feeling frisky, you can simply freeze to death. Oh, and there's a dog. Good times. UPDATE: This game has undergone major expansion, it is now a very impressive and fully-featured fireplace simulator! There's a TV and radio, a thermometer to measure the temp in the room and several modes of play. You can even read a book inside the game. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a fun little game to keep open on a second monitor, and you can't beat the price! I noticed a couple of Easter eggs, it snows if you click in certain spots, etc.
Fireplace Simulator is a delightful little game made by a single developer, and it’s perfect for anyone looking to unwind. The retro graphics give it a nostalgic feel, with flickering flames and soothing crackles that really set the mood. Even though it’s simple, there’s something so warm and inviting about it. If you’re in the mood for a peaceful, retro-inspired escape, this game is the perfect way to relax. **Updated 1/27 - I love that the developer listens to the community. Thanks for adding the ability to re-enable survival mode!
