It is an alright HOG with 5 levels and some cute cats we need to find. Nothing we have not seen before but I would like to highlight two annoying things: there is a mandatory tutorial at the beginning which cannot be skipped. There is an achievement requiring you to complete each level without using the hint function - the tutorial makes it mandatory, however, to use this feature.

It's fine to redo a level but first you have to reset it. You will realise later that the reset option is for all 5 levels. Additionally, there is one achievement wanting you to complete a level in 3 minutes. It can be pretty annoying.

Well, if you are not an achievement hunter then you will probably not worry about the above-mentioned. It is a relaxing HOG, after all, so feel free to pick it up if you have nothing else to complete.

Cats Visiting Cozy Art Studios is a wholesome cute seek-and-find adventure about finding hidden kitties in various art studios.

Settings include; audio controls, language, vibration on or off and reset game option.

If you wish to put your game into windowed mode, put -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 (or a resolution of your choice) under properties in the games Steam library page under launch options and relaunch the game.

Pros

* Good zoom range
* Hints that recharge every 30 seconds
* Multiple maps (5 in total)
* All maps have coloured backgrounds (much easier on the eyes)
* Cats are coloured in as they are found (some have cute poses)
* I really like the soundtrack, upbeat playful melodies
* You can hide the hud elements like the cat counter so it is not obstructing your view

Cons

* The tutorial. You cannot turn it off and if you don’t complete it beyond level 1 it follows you in other levels until you finish it by using a hint. And there are achievements for finishing each level without using a hint, so kind of counter-productive. Just let us turn off the tutorial if we don’t need it.

This game was purchased by me for my personal library. On occasion I share my experiences with the groups I write for to help bring attention to games I’ve personally purchased and wish to give more exposure too.

I am on the fence on this positive review and wish I had an option for an ehhh review. Will give the positives first. The cats are drawn well and as always, the last few take a bit more time to find. The speed run was fun and the overall workings of the game was fine. What was a game changer for me was the every single level giving the instructions on how to use the mouse and the inability to get rid of the strip on the bottom screen which might have went away had I used the clue button but since one of the achievements is to use no clues, that seemed pointless. So, for the last few cats in order to find them, I had to just blindly click around the bottom of the screen and wait until I at last I hit that last hidden cat that is under the banner where the directions are at the bottom of the screen. Make it an option so we can opt out of being given directions on all 5 levels I might add. Put the education on how to use the mouse on the first page where you push play and let the players decide if they want those directions and how often they want them reviewed.
