The game is good if you are looking for a casual couple hours to dump into something relaxing. About perfect for the price point but I have a few gripes that aren't enough to not recommend it (especially for 3 bucks) but still should be said. Warning minor spoilers ahead:

English localization is very rough in parts, particularly the epilogue and beyond. With how well written the rest of the game is (I particularly liked the small spelling mistake easter egg in One Small Mistake) it's very jarring.

The upgrades towards the end are largely pointless. You already one shot everything so damage mitigation is useless, once your threads start collecting collectors are useless, etc. This means that either you're spending time grinding upgrades that don't mean anything before the point of no return to get the achievement or, like me, you're stuck without being able to get the upgrade without restarting.

The ability descriptions need some tweaking, especially for proxy. Without realizing that once you get proxy the game is basically over, progression wise, as your ability to earn green cubes significantly goes up to the point that you scale out of the game within 4-5 runs "attacks at range" doesn't really qualify how much this changes the game, especially relative to the other abilities you unlock.

The yellow cube economy feels bad in the mid to late game. It is fine again by endgame, but the trade off means you're effectively reducing green cube income for yellow cube income until your damage scales out of the game.

An additional upgrade to make restarting quicker in the end game would be very nice as well. Maybe skipping stages, retaining stage progress but still being able to re-complete for green cubes, adding a button to skip straight to the firewall, or even just cutting the timer in half again. The last 2 runs I felt extremely repetitive with me just hitting the new session button and then watching a screensaver for 18 levels in a row.

With all the effort of including time travel in universe not having an additional prestige layer is a crime, though I could see that adding a dollar or two to the price and it would be very difficult to meaningfully increase the difficulty while avoiding the repetitive feeling.

All in all a good game, relaxing, relevant, and a good value for the price. I'm hoping for more like this from this developer and I'll be keeping an eye out for them.

Excellent addition to the 'shapes game' genre, that includes games like Nodebuster and Max Manos. This one actually has a story!

Pleasant and relaxing, not too easy or difficult, and can be played either actively with controls or as an incremental.

It's a yes with HUGE caveats:

There are low-value (by this I mean you don't get much bang for your buck) upgrades you do not need to keep progressing rapidly, and so I have regrets.

Beyond the very very early game, there isn't much skill required to progress faster (unlike Minutescape or Astro Prospector).
