Clicker Astro Planet tasks you with gathering energy and XP to purchase planets and level up your collection. The core loop relies on clicking and automation, though players report the progression feels glacial and unrewarding even with idle features enabled. This is best suited for players seeking deep customization in their clicker rather than meaningful progression or frequent payoffs.

too slow and boring initial gameplay and auto option is unbalanced - at adds little to nothing. Overall it gives no joy in exchange of wasted time.

Next to no real content, just a long boring grind with no feeling of reward.

Where do I even start with this mess?

1. There's unironically an ACHIEVEMENT for JOINING THE DISCORD SERVER In case anyone missed it, Discord's been hacked a few times now and has had to report quite a few !serious! data leaks in the past few years. Strong-arming users into joining a server, especially a big one that is likely auto-modded (and thus, insanely vulnerable due to the bot serving as an access point and bot tokens being easy enough to steal), is simply completely out of touch. I frankly thought Steam would have rules against that and I think they should.

2. 157 hours and I haven't even managed to buy a business yet. I've tried all the approaches - stay active, let it idle for longer periods of time, check in only every hour, ... Nothing actually gets you forward in a meaningful way. Whoever did the math for this game botched it completely.

3. Some of the buildings are bugged and will literally start producing NEGATIVE income. (And it's not even just a visual bug - it does deduct). The devs even responded to a forum post about this promising a fix... yet here we are.

4. Half of the stuff doesn't do anything, none of it is explained.

5. I've prestiged so many times, I lost count and stuff is still SLOW all over.

The reason I ended up with so many hours is because I kept on believing this was going somewhere - like Kiwi Clicker, which opens up into a crazy amount of new gameplay if you stay at it. Buut...nope. Just a badly developed miscalculation with bugs and devs who think achievements are a way to advertise their discord server.

Clicker Astro Planet 2 — Only 6 Days Left!

Clicker Astro Planet 2 releases in just 6 days, and we want to share what makes the second game different from the first.Even though they look similar, this is not a clone. The main difference is the layered prestige system. There will be exactly 11 prestiges. They are not infinite on purpose — so the game doesn’t turn into endless grinding. Each prestige unlocks new content, mechanics, and automation.Compared to the first game, we added offline income (up to 12 hours). This is especially useful in the mid and late game when progress takes longer. 12 hours is a deliberate limit: the game is relatively small and should take around 30–40 hours to complete. We completely rewrote the game to fix a critical bug from the first part related to the final upgrades. The bug was deeper than we could fix with a simple patch. This issue does not exist in the new version. We’re truly sorry to everyone who encountered it in the first game.Originally, we planned a more active gameplay loop with constant clicking. However, we realized most players didn’t enjoy it, so we shifted the focus toward Idle. Now you can progress without having to stay glued to the screen.Important for demo players: The prestige mechanic in the full game is different from the demo. We strongly recommend resetting your progress when you first launch the game and starting fresh — this way you’ll get the intended experience. We also:Fixed the background mode — it now works reliablyImproved resolution scaling for your monitorCreated better musicSignificantly improved the balanceFuture plans: We want to create higher-quality games with better UI and progression. We’re currently developing an active Idle game about ecology and another much larger project — the biggest game we’ve ever worked on.If you find any bugs or issues, please report them through the in-game feedback form. We’ll fix them as quickly as possible. Also, feel free to join our Discord and check out our YouTube channel to listen to the game’s music.T...
