Last weekend, we brought Occult Office to the Indie Area at Spielefest Wien & eSports Festival 2026 at the Vienna International Centre!Alex, our designer, and Thomas, our artist, spent the festival showing the game, talking with players, and even presenting it during the event stream.It was wonderful to see people exploring everything the game has to offer. Many players spent a surprisingly long time creating their characters, with witchy and goth outfits becoming clear favourites. Selecting Cthulhu as a playable character caused plenty of laughter, while Purgy and Umbra quickly became the most popular magical companions.Visitors also enjoyed discovering the calendar, drawing tarot cards, decorating their spaces, and trying the different activities. Some players returned later with friends so they could show them the game which might be one of the loveliest compliments a developer can receive. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, played, shared feedback, or watched the stream.
