game is good BUT very slow (at least to your first ascension) i was told. connected to the discord server and was timed out within 5 minutes for being accused (from a discord staff member) for "doubting others" when all i said was "i must be doing something wrong" when the staff member was called out on what they had said i was timed out for an hour.....either way the game does deserve a positive review BUT their discord staff doesn't

What players are saying
At $5 this game is a steal. I got it on sale and feel like I got away with something. It's possibly the best incremental I've played this year, and while it's true it borrows a lot of elements from other successful incrementals, other games also do that and don't do it nearly this well. On the issue of 'is this an idler' it is and isn't. The first 5-10 hours you could idle but you'll probably be constantly busy. It does eventually evolve into more of an idler as your purchases and decisions stretch out deeper into the run. There are a number of good/interesting things here: 1) The visual style (imo) is fantastic. The little bird spinning when you visit your house is just hilarious. It is cartoony and big and splashy - and I'm sure some won't like it - but there's no question it's got its own style 2) The choice to have a different currency for off-line play I'll be better able to judge in a month, but at first blush I think I like it, though it may discourage some who don't have the ability to actively play or let the game just run idle. 3) There is a good array of incremental systems, and for the most part I think they synergize well. I do think there are still a few things the dev could work on: A) Make it clearer that you can grind more prestige points prior to prestiging (and how), and remove or at least de-emphasize the big shiny button that suggests you should prestige right away as soon as it unlocks. If you prestige when you first can, your second run is going to be as/more painful than the first B) Mana feels like it needs work. Regardless of what build you choose, you'll almost inevitably either have full mana or no mana. Either spells need more conditional toggles (currently you can only turn them on/off) to control when they fire, or some other mechanism of getting mana back is necessary. C) You should get 2 pets for beating the lvl 50 boss as baseline. The pets (both visually and their abilities) are one of the coolest features of this game, and after your first run - especially if you didn't grind a ton of prestige points - you're likely to be working with fewer which does feel a bit bad. But I think all of that is addressable, and even as is, on the question of is this worth $5 / 10 hours of my time, the answer is unquestionably yes (I'm at 30+ hours that I've enjoyed the majority of and I'm still on run #2)
it's a game where you play as a cute lil turtle, and you get even more cute animal friends for the turtle to be friends with. and to make it all even better, the more friends you have, the faster that number go up. what more could you ask for?
