Fixes Fixed an issue whereby the subsequent level does not appear after completing a level in some cases.
• Fixed the tutorial's "buy 3 more Log Flatcars" step being impossible to complete. Car prices rise as you buy more of the same type, but the tutorial wasn't accounting for that when making sure you could afford them — so it left you short on the last car with no way forward. • If you're currently stuck on that step, just launch the game. Your save fixes itself automatically and you can carry straight on — no restart needed. Sorry about that one.
Since launch, one request has come through clearly in the feedback: after becoming the Don, many players wanted to remain in the city and continue building their syndicate. Streetlight Syndicate was designed as a complete story with a definitive ending. That has not changed; but now, earning that ending can open the door to something more. ENTER EMPIRE MODEEarn the good ending and become the Don to unlock Empire Mode, an optional postgame that preserves your completed campaign and lets your organization continue growing. In Empire Mode, you can: Face all nine rival hitmen in repeating, increasingly difficult cyclesEarn scaling Notoriety from defeated rivalsPurchase four long-term Empire expansion ranksRaise every racket’s maximum level by 10 with each Empire rankUnlock two additional purchasable gun levels with each rankContinue purchasing any owner stories you missed during the campaignSwitch between Action and Chill music while running your empireThe campaign still has a beginning, middle, and end. Empire Mode is what comes afterward for players who want to keep going. THREE SAVE SLOTSThe update also introduces three independent save slots. Your existing full-game save will be placed into Slot 1 automatically. If that save has already earned the good ending, Empire Mode will be available immediately. The additional slots can be used to pursue alternate endings, complete achievements, or start again without sacrificing your original syndicate. ACHIEVEMENT CHANGESAchievement requirements have been reworked so that full completion can be earned through a good-ending campaign and continued in Empire Mode. The bad ending is no longer required for full completionFull Story now reflects the good ending, all owner stories, and all rival bossesThe City Never Sleeps is awarded for completing an Empire cycleThe Empire expansion branch is not required for Cornered the Market OTHER IMPROVEMENTSExpanded large-number support for long-running empiresBoost now increases weapon dam...
1. Fixed bugs that occurred when launching certain games.
Economy Rebalance • Station upgrades now cost roughly what the engine they unlock is worth, instead of a flat fee. Maxing out a town is a real investment. • Each station level now unlocks exactly one new train — no more filler levels. Your towns keep every engine they'd already unlocked; the level number just counts differently now, so don't be alarmed if it reads lower than it did before. • Shops now stock only what the town actually produces. Want a specific car? Go to the town that makes it. • Cars get pricier the more of that type you already own, so filling out a long consist is a genuine sink rather than pocket change. • "Refresh offers" is now "Restock offers". Quality of Life • Large sums now read properly — commas below $1M, then M/B/T above. Also fixes the shop layout breaking on very large numbers. • Auto-select now breaks ties toward faster cars: same payout, earlier arrival. • New visual speed options for the mid-trip scroll, now up to 16x. • Buttons you can't afford gray out instead of looking clickable. Hover the town UPGRADE and it tells you how much more you need.
⚗️ Gear Synthesis 🔸 Added Gear Synthesis, unlocked at Crafting Level 15. 🔸 Combine five eligible items of the same rarity from Common through Legendary to receive one item of the next rarity. Eight Mythic items create one Divine item. 🔸 Synthesized equipment appears near your current Combat Level. Its class is random, while the offered equipment slots influence the resulting slot. 🔸 Socketed gear, quest items, Soulbound or Divine gear, protected items, upgraded items, and special rewards are excluded from Eligible Items. 🔸 Added a full magical lightning reveal with mouseover details showing the item’s exact stats, Gem sockets, and Skill Engraving. 🔸 Revealed equipment can immediately be Salvaged, Added to Inventory, or Sold. 🔸 Pending synthesis rewards are safely restored if the game closes during the reveal. 🏰 Endgame & Progression 🔸 Divine equipment now provides 25% less flat-stat power. Percentage stats, Divine Blessings, special passives, drop rates, pity progress, and collection protection are unchanged. 🔸 Fully upgrading all eight Celestial Forge nodes now costs 500,000 Aether. First-rank prices and existing Forge ranks are preserved, with more of the cost placed in later ranks. 🔸 Combat progression no longer stops at Level 10,000. Existing levels and total Combat XP are preserved. 🔸 Frontier Seal Auto-Replacement is now available in Steam builds, including wanted-stat filters, Seal protection, replacement history, and online/offline support. ⛏️ Gathering Improvements 🔸 Added a Gathering sorting control between Resource View and Vertical Layout. 🔸 Resource areas can be sorted by Lowest Level First or Highest Level First, and the game remembers your selection.

The Multi-Tank Update Your aquarium just became four aquariums. This update adds multiple tanks, offline earnings, weekly goals, booster packs and 14 new backgrounds — plus a rebuilt progression curve so the full collection lasts. Multiple Aquariums Unlock up to 4 separate tanks from the new Tanks tab in the store Each tank keeps its own fish, decorations and background Switch between tanks instantly from the bottom bar Move fish and decorations between tanks whenever you like Each tank has its own fish capacity, so a new tank genuinely means more fish The Showcase tank is a display case: it holds your whole collection, and fish there never get hungry or sick and it never gets dirty Offline Earnings Your decorations now keep earning while the game is closed. Come back to a "Welcome back" summary showing what you made. Previously, being away only meant hungry fish and a dirty tank — now there is something waiting for you. Booster Packs Two packs — Freshwater and Reef — each give 3 random fish for less than buying them one by one. Species you have not discovered yet are more likely to appear, so packs help complete the collection instead of handing you duplicates. Daily & Weekly Quests Three small daily goals and one weekly goal, shown in the top-right corner. They reward EXP, and there is no streak to lose — miss a day and nothing breaks. The list hides itself once everything is done. Fish of the Week Every week one species is featured and sells for +75% once fully grown. The same fish is featured for everyone, so it is worth comparing notes. 14 New Backgrounds The background collection grows from 9 to 23, and all of the existing artwork has been redrawn at full resolution. Share Your Aquarium Upload a screenshot of your aquarium to the Steam screenshots section. The nicest 5-10 aquariums, chosen by players and by us, will be added to a "Best Aquariums" gallery inside the game, credited to whoever built them. Progression Rebalanced We simulated thousands of playthrou...
Hello Adventurers!Only 4 days to go until Upgradia launches into Steam Early Access on August 3rd, 2026!Today’s spotlight is all about something very close to the heart of any online RPG: your character. In Upgradia, your character is not just a stat sheet. They are your little adventurer in the world, the one you’ll take fishing, skilling, questing, battling, trading, collecting, upgrading, and slowly building into something completely your own.Character creation gives you a wide range of ways to shape how you look, including skin tones, vitiligo, skin textures, shaded skin, head shapes, hairstyles, hair colors, eye colors, eye styles, brow styles, ears, head extras, face extras, blush, and outfit colors. Some of the character texture options also give a tiny little glimpse at ideas and content still to come. From the mysterious Patch People to the strange Tile People of Tilios, these styles are more than just cosmetic choices; they are little hints at the wider world, its future stories, and the unusual characters, places, and possibilities we want to explore as Upgradia continues to grow. Early Access is only the beginning, and we’re excited to keep expanding the world with more personality, more surprises, and more reasons to wonder what comes next.Whether you want to make something cute, strange, heroic, chaotic, angelic, stylish, silly, serious, or completely cursed in the best way possible, the goal is simple:Be who you want to be.And the best part is that customization is not locked forever. You can return to your character customization at any time and keep adjusting your look as your adventure continues. Change your style, refresh your appearance, try something new, or fully reinvent your character whenever the mood hits.Upgradia also lets you separate your power from your appearance. Equipment matters for progression, combat, stats, and builds, but your look does not have to be trapped by whatever item gives the best numbers. You can display equipment as a c...

Greetings Universe Architects,It’s been a while since our last dev diary from 2025, in which we talked about Reality Reboot and its effect on the simulation. In 2026, we’ve released content almost every three weeks, with new chapters of Life expanding into Mollusks and Crustaceans. Civilization continues its stride toward progress with Scientific Revolution II and Industrial Revolution II. The Beyond drew to a close with Beyond E30: Cosmic Horizons. Meanwhile the game continues to improve through Quality of Life updates, with Time Chambers and the expanded Nanobots. Now it’s time to talk about the next major Cell to Singularity expansion: The Future. Spoilers ahead.A New Expansion: The FutureThere is an unexplained new node in the game. Semblance has become intrigued with the possibilities of predicting the future, and now she must go further than ever before into unknown territory. What is The Future?Veteran players may remember the speculative future content that was in the Primary Simulation for many years. We removed this content during Reality Reboot with the intention to bring it back bigger and better. That content will now return in an enhanced form with The Future expansion:Five new chapters, known as visions, will each introduce a new generator and its own set of speculative future nodesEach vision will feature unique content in new future gardensMissions system will be updated to make player progression more engagingSemblance must complete all five visions of The Future in order to unlock Singularity once againThe Future will mark the next grand stage in Semblance’s journey, giving players a front row seat of the potential paths ahead for humanity. The first available vision to players will be the Future of Space. Join Semblance in navigating through the evolution of space exploration as it becomes a mainstream part of civilization. The Journey to SingularityWe want achieving Singularity to feel like an epic culmination of your progress through the Primar...

Today’s update is a small one, but it brings a few useful improvements!Start menu fixWe fixed an issue that could prevent some players from starting the game because the Continue, Load, and New Grove buttons on the start screen could not be clicked. This should help players who were previously unable to get past the initial menu. Rotatable activity spotsYou can now rotate Dance Spots, Telescopes, and Trampolines, making it easier to fit them naturally into your grove. New minimization optionsWe added more control over what happens when Focus Grove is minimized. You can now choose to minimize the game:to the Mini Pomodoro Timer, completely to the system tray, with tools,or without tools. The new without tools option was added because some users experienced the Windows taskbar appearing automatically. Previously, keeping the tools available required part of the game window to remain displayed. Choosing the new option now hides Focus Grove completely. Woodling improvementsWe also made a small improvement to Woodling behavior. A Woodling should no longer get stuck after finishing a build when several of them are working on the same object, such as a Chessboard. That is all for today’s small update - but a much bigger announcement is coming very soon! :)
Update 1.2.2 This one is a bug-fixing pass on the issues that were quietly costing people progress: machines stuck permanently empty, achievements that refused to move, and saving for anyone playing with Steam Cloud turned off. Auto Restocking Fixed maxed-out machines getting stuck empty forever. Restocking only happened after a sale, so once a machine hit zero stock it could never refill itself — it kept serving customers, sold nothing, and still showed the "Auto Restocking" badge, with no manual Restock button to fall back on. Auto Restocking now runs on its own and tops a machine back up whenever it drops below full stock. If you can't afford a refill at that moment, the machine keeps trying instead of silently skipping the item. Machines already saved with empty stock recover on their own when you load your save. Saving Saving no longer requires Steam Cloud. If you had Cloud turned off for the game or your account, the game wasn't saving at all and every session started over. Saves now go to your disk and are mirrored to the Cloud when it's available, with the most recent save winning. Fixed the game refusing to quit for those same players. Closing the game did nothing, and the only way out was killing the process — which lost the same progress all over again. Deleting a save now clears both the local and Cloud copy, so a deleted slot stays deleted. Achievements Fixed skins not being counted when you closed the Gachapon window mid-spin. You kept the skin, but Steam was never told and doing that on your tenth skin made the all-skins achievement impossible to get. Fixed progress being rewound by starting a new game or switching save slots. Achievement stats now only ever move forward. Fixed progress earned offline (or before Steam finished starting up) being lost for good. Your totals are re-sent every time you load a save, so if you were stuck, simply loading your game should catch you back up. Trash collected is now tracked as a lifetime total on your Steam acco...
Highlights: A smaller, UI-focused update—the Echo Stele "Story Chapters" screen is redesigned (per-character tabs, chapter navigation, and a detail panel on the right), so reading through each companion's past and claiming the finale reward is easier. The auto-expedition run count gains a slider plus Min / Max shortcuts. We've also lowered the crafting cost of Advanced Boots and some expedition weapons, and fixed crafting progress while Royce is using the anvil along with a few farmland-planning leftovers. Gameplay Improvements Echo Stele · "Story Chapters" redesigned: The Story tab now lays out per-character tabs + chapter navigation + a right-hand detail panel, so browsing each companion's past, checking a chapter's offerings, and claiming the finale reward all read more clearly. Expedition · better run-count control: The auto-expedition run count now has a slider and Min / Max shortcut buttons—jump straight to the cap or fine-tune in one move. Balance · lower crafting costs: Advanced Boots material use and the coin cost of some expedition weapons are reduced, easing late-game crafting. Bug Fixes Crafting · accurate progress while Royce uses the anvil: When Royce is forging at the anvil, your craft queue now pauses correctly and resumes on its own once the anvil frees up; queue wait time no longer counts toward progress, avoiding instant-finish or out-of-order batches. Agriculture · farmland-planning leftovers fixed: Fixed cases where entering farmland planning left a hover highlight or click on trees/buildings so that clicking empty ground couldn't exit planning; planning state now also restores or collapses correctly after loading a save. Tutorial / Text · small corrections: Fixed the button wording in the Lighthouse upgrade prompt and a few other text details.
Hex Core is out now! We also got a supporter pack and bundle, as well as several bundles with other developers available. Thank you all for playing!
