Academy rewards have been reworked, and some key items are now on sale in the markets so any class can get past every kind of obstacleThe event log is now stored in the save: loading a game keeps the events of the current life instead of starting emptyNew Reincarnates mode in the Speedrun panel: it records each chapter's time in every reincarnate and compares it with the previous one. It starts recording chapter times from this update on; times from earlier reincarnates or from chapters already reached are not recorded and are not compared with those of the next reincarnateNew Anti-spoiler button in the Automation panel: it hides from the list the actions that character has never unlockedNew "Preset on reincarnate" button, inside the Reincarnate bonuses menu and in the menu that pops up when you reincarnate: the chosen preset loads automatically on every reincarnateThe text box for saving a new preset is much largerPause Lethal changes its order of priorities: it farms consumables first, then prays if the room allows it, then leaves the exit one step from completing and, if there is nothing better left to do, it brings forward the actions you had queued before walking out the door

Hi shop managers! Quick maintenance Hotfix v1.0.0.0.66 is now live! With this patch, we have finally completed the office setup for the last of our newly arrived mythical felines: 🖼️ UI Upgrade: Default Background for Water Ink Black Cat We have officially added a brand-new default background image for the . (As the ultimate guardian deity who can pull out a "Death Exemption" to save you from margin calls and bankruptcy, this master of the ink realm has finally escaped the void. We've prepared a dedicated, Zen-inspired oriental backdrop for our savior. After all, letting the cat that saves your corporate empire sleep in absolute nothingness is just bad capitalist etiquette!) With this, all our feline base models finally have their own default workspaces! Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. May your stocks only go up!
Booster Units Added the new Booster Unit to the Caboose mystery draw. Each Booster Unit allows you to attach one additional engine for a single trip. Booster Units stack, supporting trains with up to six engines. Booster Units attach automatically when you select additional engines. They are consumed when the trip finishes and returned if the trip is cancelled. Balance Improvements Train drag now scales against total engine capacity instead of raw car count. Multiple engines now combine their pulling power and speed more effectively. Slower helper engines no longer limit the entire train to their top speed. Large multi-engine trains can now reach practical speeds with heavy loads. Improvements The Depart button is now disabled whenever the train cannot legally depart. Removing an engine will immediately disable departure if the remaining engines cannot pull the train. Improved performance when calculating live train speed and trip projections. Added visual support for Booster Units in train consists.
⚔️ Tower Progression & Offline Combat 🟠 Fixed existing Tower 1 characters already between Floors 1,000 and 1,999 sometimes not receiving the first Ascension option. Their reached floor and permanent progression are preserved, and Ascending restarts Tower 2 at Floor 1. 🟠 Tower XP no longer loses value simply because you replay an already reached floor. Online and offline rewards keep the floor’s fixed XP budget, while high Combat Levels cannot inflate low-floor rewards. 🟠 First-time clears from Tower Floor 1 through 100 now provide bounded catch-up XP for Combat Levels 140–153, reaching Combat Level 154 at Floor 100 for Awakening I. This stops at Level 154 and never repeats on replayed floors. 🟠 Reclamation now settles the correct kill and completion XP for every combined floor online and offline, including eligible first-clear catch-up XP, without awarding the opening enemy twice. 🟠 Reclamation fights now use the strongest included enemy as their health baseline, with a controlled increase for each additional floor. Combined waves no longer become disproportionately durable. 🟠 Reclamation Defense now represents the combined floors more evenly. Every wave remains capped below the next Boss, Guardian, Eclipse encounter, or other protected fight. Rewards remain available for every reclaimed floor. 🟠 Offline combat now applies ability-specific Skill Engravings to damage, Crit Chance, Crit Damage, cooldown reduction, Lifesteal, and Bleed damage across supported offline combat routes. 🟠 Direct healing abilities now recover a meaningful percentage of Max HP at high health totals online and offline while respecting their existing safety caps. Repeating triggered heals retain their separate flat scaling. 🟠 Special Gem Attunement and Crown Forge explanations now clearly separate the systems. One selected equipped Gem grants its Attunement bonus once; additional Gems and higher tiers do not multiply it. Crown Imprints improve the Gem’s own stats separately.
Analytics Update Added gameplay analytics to help us understand progression, trips, purchases, and balance the game more effectively. No gameplay or balance changes in this update.

v1.0.1 is live. Here is what changed. ■ Number notation extended (by request) In English and Chinese, abbreviations were capped at q (10^15) by design, and anything above it displayed as IMMEASURABLE. Beyond q there is no single convention in English, which is why it was left there. Following a request to see the higher tiers, units were added — qi / sx / sp / oc / no / dc … — so figures now display up to 10^69. That is higher than the Japanese scale reaches. For reference, the Japanese notation has always gone up to 10^68 (無量大数). Switching the language to Japanese is another way to see the full range. ■ Fixed a rounding error that shifted numbers by one tier While extending the units, a floating-point error surfaced: 10^33 displayed as 999no instead of 1dc. It came from dividing repeatedly, and the Japanese notation had the same symptom (10^32 showing as 9999澗). Both are fixed. ■ Currency icon fallback fixed The gold icon used a relatively new emoji, so systems with older fonts rendered it as tofu (☒). It has been swapped for one that renders reliably on older environments. Two other icons in the same situation were replaced pre-emptively. ■ Stage list now shows the materials you can farm there (by request) Since it was hard to tell which stage drops what, material icons are now listed in the stage select. Go to a stage that shows the icon of the material you are after. Hovering an icon shows the material name. ■ How saves work (worth knowing) Saves in this game are tied to your Lv10 account. Without knowing this, it is easy to assume a save was lost. Playing without logging in … the save exists only inside the browser on that device. Clearing browser data erases it, and it does not carry to another device Playing logged in to a Lv10 account … the save is also stored server-side, so you can continue on another device or on the Steam version Saves are separate per account … logging in with a different account will not show your previous progress. It is not deleted —...
Bahast 1.3.1 is live, and this patch comes directly from player feedback. Run any owned Writ directly from Writ Stash—no Queue required. Auto Climb now has a separate campaign-boss toggle, and Auto Sell can protect whole equipment categories. This patch also makes a minor adjustment near Scout's starting wheel, improves Chinese translations, displays Barrier as ornate blue filigree across the left half of the Life orb, and fixes several UI, tooltip, Writ, and Queue issues. A couple of weeks ago, I welcomed my second child. Finishing this update during such a full moment in my life has been intense. At the same time, building Bahast and seeing people care enough to play it, critique it, and help it improve has been the most amazing experience I've had as a solo developer. Thank you to every player who reported a problem, explained what felt wrong, shared a screenshot, or simply gave me time to work through it. Thank you for your patience while I got this patch right. I especially want to thank the Chinese-speaking players who waited so long for proper translations. You deserved text that was clear, natural, and mechanically accurate. Thank you for sticking with Bahast and for helping me find the places where the language still fell short. Read the full patch notes. Looking ahead, Release 1.4.0 will include a major overhaul of the passive tree. I'm excited to share more as it takes shape. Please keep telling me what works and what does not. I'm excited for your feedback, and I'm grateful that I get to keep building Bahast with you. — Bahast
After carefully reviewing your feedback and suggestions, I decided to release a major update. Many players mentioned that the game was too short, so I worked on extending the overall playtime in this new version. Thanks for sticking around, we have a major UI update today to make it feel like you're playing more of a game! Every skill tree got torn out and rebuilt, and every node in the game has its own art now. Plus the combat arena, sailing, and a pile of smaller stuff. SKILL TREES The old board was a pile of circles with the effect text crammed underneath in small brown-on-brown. Hard to read, and the lines between nodes were thinner than the gaps. The new skill tree should now be easier to read, and easier to understand. Every node has its own custom art now to better match the perk. THE COMBAT ARENA The combat arena got a massive overhaul. Every single monster is now it's own art, and each zone has its own background. Floating damage numbers were also added to show your damage, and changes color depending on what type of damage was dealt. COMBAT MASTERY All 37 nodes of the combat mastery tree got reworked. Some didn't even work! And new ones were added! SAILING Sailing needed an overhaul. While it's still a work in progress, there are some cool updates that were made to the skill. The chart is now a real chart, with each unique island on the map. - Voyage Orders were added, a way to change how you visit the island. With 3 choices to make for the journey, each has its own trade off. Shaving off time for a quicker sail? Well you will trade off some of the treasure for the faster sail! Or you can take more time to collect more treasure. - A second ship is now unlockable at level 70! - A commission board was added(Admiralty) to get rewarded for your adventures! With lore to be found throughout the rewards! PANELS REBUILT Enchanting, Sockets, Monster log all received a huge update to the UI to make it easier to understand and read on what you were actually looking at! IN-GAME MAIL I can now respond to your feedback, bug reports and suggestions, through the in-game menu now! Going forward if you have questions, you can now ask them and I can respond without having to go throu...
Reclamation now: Uses the strongest included enemy’s HP, plus 10% per additional floor. Never exceeds 85% of the upcoming protected encounter’s HP. Uses average Defense instead of the highest Defense. Keeps its reduced damage.
Since v1.2.2: smoother Peach Blossom theme and cosmetic skin texture loading on Steam (less repeated PNG decode hitching). Improvements Gameplay without Peach Blossom theme matches v1.2.2; this update mainly improves smoothness when the Peach Blossom DLC is installed and in use Bug fixes On Steam release builds, switching Peach Blossom theme or cosmetics: each texture is decoded once and then reused, reducing hitching when re-applying skins Peach Blossom cosmetic availability and frame loading now use the same bare-PNG path as sky/UI chrome, avoiding missing-skin glitches when files are present How to get this update (Playtest) If you have not received the update yet: Steam Library → right-click Thousand Floors → Properties → Betas Check Enter beta access code, enter: qiancengdengta (lowercase, no spaces) Under Select beta, choose playtest (not Default) Close Properties and wait for Steam to finish downloading Launch the game — v1.2.3 appears at the bottom of Settings Troubleshooting Only Default in the list: the new version is not live yet — try again later Wrong version number: confirm playtest is selected; Verify integrity of game files, then restart Steam When this version ships on the main branch, switch back to Default in Betas — no access code needed.
Patch Notes Changes: - New LED panel progression system - A high number of satellites now worsens the aluminum shortage. The protective scratch layer on lottery tickets has started to degrade, causing the LED panel to be more effective - Coins now snap magnetically to the slots on the wooden stand - Tweaked ticket printing sound - The phone now stops ringing if the player doesn't answer the call - Optimized some texture maps Bug Fixes: - The microscope no longer gets stuck in walls - Fixed the issue with endless calls from Mom - Blackjack lottery tickets with 22+ points can no longer be picked up and redeemed - Minor graphical artifact fixes More content and balance updates are on the way and will be dropping soon!
Every Ally Has Their Own Deployment Rhythm As the climb progresses, twelve named cultivation allies join one by one. Each deploys automatically from the starting floor on an independent timer, with no shared unit cap. While the battle continues, you decide whose growth receives the next Spirit Stones. Develop your companions Improve Attack, Health, Speed, and Summon timing separately Use x1, x10, or x100 batch purchases to allocate Spirit Stones quickly Keep allies with different deployment timings entering the tower battle Meet them through the Compendium Once an ally is unlocked, you can view their full character art, profile, and growth record. Starting with the early companion Yun Zhi, gradually gather twelve allies with distinct attributes and deployment timings. Add Cultivation Tower to your Steam wishlist
🏰 Patch 0.14.9 — Tower Ascension & Combat Reliability 🏰 Tower Ascension 🟠 The first Tower Ascension is now offered when Tower 1 reaches Floor 1,000, before its Guardian fight. Existing eligible characters receive the same option, and later Ascension gates are unchanged. 🟠 After Ascending, Auto-Combat can now combine up to nine previously cleared ordinary floors into one Reclamation fight. Bosses, Guardians, Eclipse encounters, repeated or manually selected floors, checkpoint backtracking, and new-record floors remain individual fights. 🟠 Every reclaimed floor still grants its own XP, Gold, drops, quest credit, kill credit, and session progress. Divine Gear progression, Ascension rewards, and save progress remain preserved. ⚔️ Combat & Offline Progress 🟠 Nullwell Siphon’s healing now scales correctly with level and combat stats online and offline while preserving its Max HP safety caps. Its tooltip and Combat Mathematics entry show the corrected healing. 🟠 Offline Auto-Cast now correctly calculates area damage and non-Bleed damage-over-time effects. Hybrid abilities such as Nullwell Siphon apply their healing without being omitted or counted twice. 🟠 Each character now uses its own offline timestamp when loading or switching characters, preventing another character’s activity time from shortening that character’s offline progress.

Retiring on Arc I now pays 2 prestige points where it paid 25. A full Maw run pays 406, exactly what it paid before, and nothing you have already banked is touched. Module II moves the other way: a whole Vale run is 1,852 points where it was 85, and beating the Count is 700 where it was 2. WhyA player measured it and filed the report: beating Arc I took them about two minutes for 25 points, and beating Arc V took about four hours for 370. Farming the doorstep was the best prestige in the game by a factor of ten, and it got better the more you did it, because Speed is bought with the proceeds and has no cap. The cause was that five of retirement's six rows paid for breadth rather than depth: rank attained, bosses felled, beasts mastered, gold on the table, skills taken. All five fill inside the first hour. A run closed at Arc I was collecting 23 of its 25 points for work that cost it nothing. Every row but the depth row is now paid at the share of the descent you actually walked. The depth row is paid whole, as it always was, which is why a full descent does not move by a point. And Module II was underpaid by the same arithmeticThe Mourning Vale's table was cut against a Maw whose depth figure later doubled, and nothing came back to update it. For five days Module II was worth 5% of Module I by the hour. The end clamp was a second fault on top: it read the chapter you had reached rather than the one you had closed, so the whole of the Vale's depth payout landed for entering the last chapter, and beating the Count, 86 hours and four endings, added one rank and one boss. Both are re-cut. A whole Vale is now 99% of a whole Maw by the hour, and its last chapter is the best-paying stretch of either module. Eleven fixes An oath opens once one of its two rings is closed, which is all eight skills. That puts it at about the 221st skill of a run, where it stood at the 214th. An oath already sworn is untouched. Retire says why a shallow run pays nothing, instead of showing an ...

Hi shop managers! Quick maintenance Hotfix v1.0.0.0.65 is now live! This update provides proper workspaces for our newly arrived mythical felines and fixes some bureaucratic errors in their inventory files: 🖼️ UI Upgrade: Default Backgrounds for Lion & Jianzhou Cats Added brand-new default background images for the and . (Our mythical beasts with ancient Eastern powers no longer have to work suspended in the void. As seasoned cyber-capitalists, providing luxury desks for top-tier employees is the least we can do.) 🛠️ Inventory Quality Display Fixed Fixed a bug where the , , and were displaying incorrect rarity/quality borders in the inventory system. (The quality control department of the Floating Life Pawnshop has been penalized. These noble T4 live models were incorrectly tagged in the warehouse, almost making our bosses think they pulled counterfeits. Their high-dimensional rarity glows have been restored!) 🛠️ Text Display Anomalies Fixed Fixed text truncation and layout misalignment issues for the three new cats (Water Ink, Lion, Jianzhou) across various UI panels. (The ancient archives attached to these cats were too heavy, temporarily breaking our cyber-text boxes. The UI layout has been reinforced with dark matter to ensure their lore and skills are fully legible.) Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. May your margins be green and your drops be legendary!
Optimized the issue where the backpack right-click menu kept refreshing continuously during use. Added an active reincarnation feature.
