#tinygamereviews
If Game Developer Simulator is a "simulation" of some kind for game development, its own developers should've spent more time with it. Many of the mechanics in Game Developer Simulator seem lifted straight from that title, watered-down, and pasted into a halfassed UI (some of the game reviews it spits out ingame even sound identical). So, it's cheap, but what's there could be a little fun if not for what seem to be some poor optimization issues that cause a lot of skipping and stuttering. Save a couple more bucks and buy Game Dev Tycoon, instead. There is no depth to this game. Yes, it is only $3.99, however, there is nothing to do in the game. You click on the computer, give the "game" a title, pick a couple options like the genre and click create. Sometimes the game proceeds like normal and you get a random amount of money and fans, sometimes the game fails to show the "reviews". When it fails to show the review screen, you can do nothing except force the game to stop. On occasion, you need to eat, sleep and go to the bathroom. That is it, nothing else. This has potential if the devs add in more depth. You should have many, many more options to create a game. For example, if you choose Sports as a genre, then you should also have a list of sports as a sub option, then have other options to pick from as well. Maybe even have a mini game for "coding" or programming, something for graphics or something besides what it does now which is you click create and the game is done. At least have options like Game Dev Tycoon or Software Inc. Currently, as the game stands now, even at $3.99, it is a waste of money.
