Time Idle RPG treats real-world time as both resource and currency, letting you progress offline while managing a prestige system and unlocking new mechanics. The concept has potential for players who enjoy waiting-based progression, though current feedback suggests the UI needs significant work before it becomes genuinely playable.

Hopefully this game is updated more but as of right now I would not advise anyone play it unless you want to provide feedback on ways to improve it.

There are a number of issues with the current game mostly revolving around user experience and UI. The first thing a player will probably notice is that the game window cannot be resized and (probably) doesn't fit all of the UI elements on your screen. Next, and this is partly because the game was also designed for mobile, you'll find that navigating between sections of the game (left to right) is strange and unintuitive. It is probably a little more intuitive on mobile.

In any case, there seems to be a variety of things going on in this idler. However, these things are often poorly explained in the game and you mostly have to resort to clicking around on things to really understand how they work. Variants, for example, seem to be a critical component to the gameplay, but I don't think I had a single dialogue box or popup explaining a single thing about them in detail. I think the most information I was given about them was that they "provide bonuses". It would have been nice to know that they are the only thing capable of capturing food and also that the manner in which they provide a bonus to other things. Speaking of explanations, you better remember every single thing every popup tells you, because after you read its explanation and close it there is no way to ever view it again. This is a problem because there are so many things in the game that it's easy to forget what they all do. So when there is a dialogue box that properly explains something you better remember what it said! It would be nice if there were reminders/tips available upon hover over of things in the game. There is a "help" area in the game but it's not as helpful as the popup boxes and it is very out of the way of normal gameplay.

Time is the main resource of this game and you can distribute it to a variety of "gathering" things of sorts. You can either add or subtract 1 "Time" at a time, or you can add or remove all of your remaining Time of it at once. You get 1 Time per second. So let's say you have been playing the game for 10 minutes and have 600 time. If you want to add 50 to one thing, 150 to another, and 400 to a last thing, you have to click the first one 50 times, the second one 150 times, and the last you can luckily just add all remaining. Why not have a "Add X" option where you can decide how much to change??? As the game progresses and you start to have thousands of Time and 20+ things to distribute it between, you end up having to just dump all your Time into one thing because it is ridiculous/impossible to add, say, 2000 Time each to three different things.

It is hard for me to confidently give an opinion on how good the "gameplay" is because it is extremely uncomfortable to try to play the game and difficult to understand. At a cursory understanding of the game I would speculate based on what I've seen that the game offers nothing new to the idle/incremental genre and is just a series of bars filling faster/slower over time. There is a combat system which reminds me of the one in NGU Idle, where you basically just get a secondary set up numbers/bars to fill up in addition to your current ones. So it's a little more in depth than a bare bones idler, but I didn't see anything that looked particularly innovative or engaging. Each mechanic I was able to unlock just looked like a rehash of other games' systems. Perhaps I'll try to load it up again at some time in the future but as of now like I said I can only recommend this to people looking to offer feedback to the developer because it's so difficult and annoying to play.

Oh also the (very short) music loop and other sound effects are actually pretty pleasant. So that's nice.

I wonder if people stick to this game because they cannot find the exit button.

Tried to play for like 10 minutes, but the UI is so complicated and bad it makes the game unplayable at the moment
