Eldara Update A new comfort setting, offline progression, balance passes, and a stack of fixes from your reports. Thank you all! 🆕 New Windowed Mode — a toggle in Settings to swap between fullscreen and windowed, so you don't need to know F11 / Alt+Enter. It remembers your choice and stays in sync however you switch. 🌙 Offline Progression Bone Grinder runs offline — leave it on with bones in your pack and it keeps burning them while you're away (Cremation XP + Pyre Charges), highest tier first. Auto-Farm runs offline — your farm now keeps harvesting AND replanting the whole time you're gone instead of maturing a single crop. Spends a seed per replant and stops when you run out. Both are capped by your offline limit and the bones/seeds you actually have — same as leaving the game open. Hunting Points still don't accrue offline. ⚖️ Balance Smithing is quicker — every smelt (ore → ingot) is ~25% faster. Smelting was sitting at ~55% of mining's XP/hr across the board; it's now ~75%, with the tier order unchanged. (e.g. Emerald Ingot 18k → 24k XP/hr.) Shiny gear completes regular sets — a single shiny piece now counts toward the normal set bonus, so it's never wasted or forcing you back to the plain piece. Wearing the full shiny set still grants the stronger all-shiny bonus. Two quests un-wasted — The Emo War and Deadly Dish required level 100 in skills they then rewarded XP in (wasted at cap). Lowered those requirements to 95. 🛠️ Fixes "Prosperous Market" no longer sticks forever — a faction sell perk was keeping the timed banner up permanently. The perk still works; it just stops pretending to be a timed event. Quest panel no longer freezes on hover — timers and gathered-material counts keep ticking even while your cursor is over the board. Blacksmith refining reads your Bank — with the Quartermaster's Ledger, gear-upgrade materials now count what's stashed in your bank/bags like every other recipe. BALANCING - New adventurers now arrive based on both your village satisfaction and current population size. Small villages will attract new adventurers more quickly, while larger populations will slow down future arrivals. Adventurer arrival time is now capped to prevent excessively long wait times in the late game. Minimum arrival time reduced to 30 seconds for small villages. Maximum arrival time capped at 8 minutes. - Increased chance of an adventurer choosing their preferred shop/building based on their activities: 20% > 25% DEBUG - Fixed the looping animal fart sound issue with the Altar. The Second Chance Altar in automatic mode was triggering the fart sound on nearby animals; it's fixed :) (Thanks for your feedback, we're sorry about this sound problem, it was very annoying) - Fixed a rare issue where some shop items and activities could remain locked even after unlocking the required talents. Vacuum Warrior now runs on a lot more devices! Some phones and PCs couldn't show the dust effects before and were stuck on an "unsupported" screen - they can finally play. The game sorts this out for you automatically, with a new Particle Mode setting in the Graphics options if you ever want to adjust it. I've also added two tribute skins for Yobnomekop, who recently passed 24,000 hours (over 1,000 days!) in Vacuum Warrior. These skins celebrate that milestone, and everyone can unlock them just by playing.

Eldara Patch — Quality of Life & Save Safety 🎒 Bank / Backpack — Custom Amounts Right-click any item and choose "custom…" to type any amount to withdraw, deposit, or stash — no more spam-clicking "Withdraw 100" to move a 3,000 stack. Quick-pick chips (100 / 1,000 / 10,000 / All) in the prompt for fast common amounts. Backpack menus now match the bank, including the higher 1,000 / 10,000 presets. 📦 Loot Box — Auto-Stack Fixes Fixed the Auto-Stack toggle disappearing: with it ON, the box stayed empty, so the button to turn it back OFF became unreachable and loot was force-sent to your inventory. The toggle is now always visible — even on an empty box — with a note explaining where your drops are going. Thieving loot now respects your backpacks: stolen items drop into a bag that holds that type, just like mining, fishing, and the other skills (previously it always went to your inventory). 💾 Save Safety Hardened cloud-save handling: a cloud sync now backs up your local save first, so a restore can never silently overwrite your progress. If anything ever looks off, your previous state is recoverable in Settings → Data → Restore.
We've made the following updates. - Fixed an issue where cats couldn't move across a multi-monitor setup that combines displays of different sizes. - Added a notification for when Sill Cats is running while Steam is not, since achievements can't be tracked in that state. Achievements are now also applied immediately if Steam launches afterward. - Relaxed the conditions that count toward the "Cat Reactions" achievement.
Two-checkpoint speedrun leaderboards arrive — race the clock from a fresh save and post your time on Steam. Speedrun leaderboards One continuous run timer with two checkpoints: Part 1 is how fast you reach Room 5 (the Singularity); Part 2 is your total time to complete all research. Powered by Steam — Global, Friends and Around You tabs, with your own rank highlighted. Open it anytime from Settings, and it pops up automatically the moment you finish each checkpoint. Both Reset All and Reset & Keep Unlocks restart the run timer, so you can replay and chase a faster time — only your best run counts. Performance & fixes Fixed a recurring stutter that could hitch the game roughly once a second. Smoother, less frequent Steam Cloud saves.
