🛰️ Ark Idle v1.6.0 — "Overdrive" is here! A big late-game update — and your progress is 100% safe. Nothing resets. ⚡ NEW: The Ark Accelerator Ever hit that wall after the Core Matrix where progress slows to a crawl? This is the fix. A new ARK ACCELERATOR panel opens on the Bridge (next to LEGACY) once Exploration is unlocked. Pour the surplus you can't spend — Energy, Time Shards, Memory Cores, even ARK Cores — into seven accelerators to supercharge your Exploration resources and Remnant production. - 🔁 Auto-feed a resource for a steady boost, or dump a lump by hand for a bigger burst that decays over time - 💎 Rarer fuel is worth far more — Memory Cores and Time Shards punch way above Energy - 📈 Boosts reward active play (online only), and it comes with its own stats, achievements, and Recovered Records in the Story Archive 🔀 NEW: Bridge Tap Mode Unlock the Legacy panel and a new TAP button appears by the Ark Core. Flip it to TAP: EXPLORE and your taps gather Exploration resources — and, rarely, Remnants — by hand instead of Energy. The reactor glows amber so you always know which mode you're in. Perfect for pushing past that one material that's holding you up. 🔶 🏆 NEW: Steam Achievements (first 20!) Steam players can now earn the first 20 achievements — from First Spark all the way to All Teams Reporting. 🎖️ 🔧 Fixes & Polish - Exploration crew list now updates the instant you unlock the next crew - Smoother performance — squashed a recurring frame hitch during play - Bridge nav row tightened up (landscape and portrait)
Version 1.1.2 makes build choices easier to understand, broadens Hunt targets, and tightens the Windows release experience. Highlights Area skills now damage additional living monsters in the current pack. Skill and Combat Readiness details separate Area Damage, Area of Effect, single-target DPS, and projected full-pack DPS. The passive tree has clearer first-visit guidance, allocation confirmation, refund selection, path presentation, and search feedback. Passive pathing now honors bidirectional authored connections, block and spell-block bonuses use the correct percentage scale, and refund pricing is cheaper through level 60 before increasing for late-game rebuilds. Hunt Contracts can now select from eligible unlocked subareas across the campaign instead of remaining limited to the Shimmering Expanse. Saves now remember the last world location. Offline combat catch-up runs only when the Character was saved during an expedition, preventing town and management sessions from advancing combat unexpectedly. Fixes And Polish Unfinished Tidewash inventory and skill lessons now preserve their progress after the shore clear and can resume in Bahast. The new passive-tree lesson can be completed with the guided controls or dismissed without forcing an allocation. Skill, support, Writ, loot, combat-log, toast, and service text received broader localization coverage across the release-supported languages. Skill and support tooltips now expose Area Damage and Area of Effect more clearly, while advanced Alt details appear only where that extra information is useful. Hunt rewards, item sale values, direct monster gold, and gambling were tightened around level relevance. Gambled items now roll from two levels below to five levels above the Character, capped at item level 75. Corrected boots and leggings icon-category assignments and added integrity coverage to prevent those asset groups from being swapped again. Added a title-screen close control and hardened packaged Windows star...

Hi shop managers! Quick maintenance Hotfix v1.0.0.0.38 is now live. This patch focuses on squashing some visual bugs and drastically improving the background tracking logic for your desktop pet: 🛠️ Patch Notes Singularity Leaderboard Alignment Fix: Fixed a visual bug where player data and UI elements on the Singularity Leaderboard would become misaligned. (Astronomical wealth sometimes distorts spacetime and breaks UI grids. We've anchored the leaderboard with quantum stabilizers so you can accurately gaze upon your massive net worth!) "Hostile Takeover" Button Text Restored: Fixed an issue where the text on the "Forced Acquisition" button in the corporate district map would occasionally vanish. (You can't launch ruthless corporate warfare with a blank button! We've laser-engraved the text back onto the UI so you can aggressively buy out your rivals with absolute confidence). Uninterrupted Jump Rope Counter (Major QoL): Completely fixed an issue in Desktop Pet mode where the Jump Rope combo counter would freeze if the game window lost focus (e.g., when you click away to browse the web or type a document). (The background limiters are off! Now, no matter if you alt-tab, minimize, or multitask heavily, as long as your cat is jumping on your desktop, the combo counter will flawlessly track every single jump in the background. Keep working while your cat keeps crushing those combo records!) Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. Happy brewing!

Update 1.2 – Localization Polish We have released another small update for Dig into the Core. This patch further improves and expands the language data for the new Tiefenläufer Expedition. The Tiefenläufer Expedition should now feel much cleaner across all supported languages.
Under Tower Idle – Community Feedback UpdateHello everyone! This update is dedicated to the incredible feedback we've received from the community. Many of the changes below were requested by players, and we're committed to making Under Tower Idle a smoother and more enjoyable experience with every update.🎮 Gameplay ImprovementsBackground ProgressionOne of the most requested features is finally here! When the game is minimized or running in the background:Islands will continue producing resources as normal.Production and automation will continue uninterrupted.Raid and Titan event timers will pause until you return to the game.New enemies will no longer spawn while the game is in the background.Any enemies already present on the map will also pause, preventing them from attacking your buildings while you're away. This allows you to step away from the game without worrying about losing progress or returning to unexpected damage.Crown Reset RestrictionsTo prevent players from accidentally missing valuable rewards:Crown Reset can no longer be performed while a Raid or Titan event is active.Completing these events before resetting is worthwhile, as they can increase the amount of Crown Points you earn and provide additional Skill Points.Raid Interaction ImprovementsWhile a Raid is active, resource nodes and houses can no longer be selected. This helps prevent accidental clicks and keeps the focus on defending your islands during combat.⚙️ Quality of LifeAchievementsThe Achievements button has been temporarily removed from the side panel until the reward system is fully implemented.Titan ImprovementsIncreased the time between Titan spawns. Titans will now appear every 20–30 minutes.Titans will no longer spawn on the opposite side of the camera, making it much easier to locate and target their weak points during battle.Settings MenuAdded a new Controls section to the Settings window with helpful information about the game's controls and key bindings.LocalizationFixed various tr...

🛠️ v1.5.9 — "True Cost" ✅ Your progress is safe — no reset. An upgrade-cost fix, plus a correction for the accounts it affected. Fixes - A few uncapped upgrades — Echoed Commands, Recovered Routine, the Anomaly Echoes, and several Memory upgrades — could get stuck costing just 1. Their price stopped rising at very high levels, so they could be bought endlessly for almost nothing. Their cost now scales correctly at every level. If this affected you — please read - A small number of accounts had those upgrades sitting at levels the bug made possible. On this update they're set back to a fair level (60), and any broken negative Time Shard / Memory Core balance is repaired. If you notice one of these drop, that's why — nothing else is touched (Energy, other upgrades, prestige, Exploration, Archive, cosmetics, identity), and they grow properly from here. Under the hood - Save-reliability groundwork: your on-device save is now written more safely (crash-resistant) with automatic backups.
MEGACITY — Patch 2.9.1: The Census Bureau Regrets the Error.Commanders,Some of you left the office at five million citizens and returned the next morning to one hundred billion. The food was gone, the water was gone, the steel was gone, rumours abound of sentient cloning vats and the Census Bureau had some explaining to do. This patch is that explanation...FIXED:*The overnight population explosion is fixed. The cause: temporary growth edicts were quietly stacking their bonus onto your city's permanent growth rate every single tick, and never giving it back when they expired. Leave the game running long enough, then step away overnight, and the offline simulation compounded that runaway rate into numbers no housing block was ever zoned for. Growth edicts now boost growth only while they are active, exactly as the paperwork always claimed.*Population growth is now held to sane limits across the board — edicts, technologies, policies, and events included. No single decree will ever again outbreed the laws of arithmetic.*If your city was already affected, you do not need to start over. The next time you load that save, a Census Correction runs automatically: the phantom billions are struck from the register and your population is restored to what your housing can actually support. You will find a report in your inbox confirming the audit. The Bureau thanks the affected citizens for their cooperation, insofar as they existed.CHANGED:*The Law tab has been reorganized. Sector edicts are now grouped into five categories — Security, Economic, Social, Infrastructure, and Political — each under its own header with a count, instead of one hundred decrees in a single unsorted pile. Bureaucracy remains, but it is now alphabetized bureaucracy.ADDED:*The in-game manual has a new Population and Housing section covering how growth works, how housing caps it, what temporary edict boosts actually do, and what a Census Correction means if you ever see one.NOTES:*Existing saves are fully...

🚀 v1.5.8 — "Many Voices" ✅ Your progress is safe — this update does not reset anything. A big translation pass and a performance fix. 🌐 Translation - Hundreds more of the game's words now translate into all 32 languages — building, upgrade, Store, crew and region names and their descriptions, and even the What's New screen itself. - If you play in a language other than English, far more of the Ark now reads in your language. ⚡ Performance - Fixed a slowdown that could build up during a session — most noticeable when playing in a non-English language and on large saves. The interface now runs noticeably smoother. Playing in another language or on Steam Deck and something still reads in English or looks off? Drop it here — it genuinely helps. 🙏
Localization Added release-supported language coverage for Dutch, German, Italian, and Russian. Removed beta labeling from supported language options. Improved Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese coverage across player-facing UI. Opening Sequence Added a hold-to-skip control to the opening cutscene. Characters and Combat Added female combat pose support for all player classes. Improved battle sprite scaling for pose-specific art so combat HUD placement remains stable. Improved combat log localization for generated combat and reward messages. Save and Offline Progression Offline catchup no longer runs when the player last saved from town. Legacy saves with missing character gender now normalize to a valid art path. Player profiles now track whether the player has played before. Tutorials Improved tutorial persistence after the shore clear. New returning-player characters can skip completed utility tutorial prompts. Improved tutorial recovery when returning to Bahast after map handoff. Items, Skills, and Inventory Localized skill parchment, support jewel, Writ, Reagent, Sigil, and item tooltip generated text. Improved item tooltip details for Alt-hover states. Improved equipment failure messages. Improved inventory/stash status messaging and crafting cursor copy. Town and Vendors Fixed Tide Market buyback warnings persisting after the vendor panel closes. Fixed Tide Market buyback behavior when the buyback tab is full. Fixed gambling category validation so generated gear matches the displayed slot and requirement family. Corrected the armor gambling stat family labels.

New Tiefenläufer Expedition Ancient traces of the Ordo Virexon have been discovered beneath the base camp. Aren Varek, a Tiefenläufer of the order, follows the trail of a vanished vanguard and slowly reconstructs what happened in the deeper layers of the mine. We shipped a fix for a serious bug, and we owe some of you an explanation and an apology. What went wrongOn first launch, Desktop Driller used to automatically enable the "start with Windows" option, and it registered that startup entry in the following way: instead of pointing to the game's own executable, it pointed to Steam with a command telling Steam to launch the game.Steam's uninstaller does not disable that entry, so it stayed behind after uninstalling. At every login, it told Steam to launch a game that was no longer installed, and Steam responded by adding it back to your library and queuing the download. Because the game is free-to-play, it could even re-add the license to accounts that had removed it.This was a bug, not a dark pattern. It was never meant to survive uninstalling, and we are sorry for the time and trust it cost you. What we changedThe startup entry now points to the game's own executable, so it stops working the moment the game is uninstalled. Windows ignores it.Starting with Windows is now opt-in. New players choose during the tutorial, existing players are asked once the first time they launch the updated game, and the option can be changed anytime in Settings. The Settings toggle also used to display the wrong state for Steam players, showing "off" while the option was actually on. That is fixed too.If you still have the game installedYou do not need to do anything. The next time the updated version runs, it repairs the old entry automatically. If you already uninstalled the game and it keeps coming backThe leftover entry is still on your PC, and the update cannot reach it. There are two ways to deal with it. Both take about a minute, and you can pick whichever you are more comfortable with.Option 1: stop the entry yourself, without reinstalling anything1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, then open the "Startup apps" tab.2. Right-click the column headers and enable the "Command line" column. This matters: the entry launches Steam...
Hello, You are billions probably wondering why Mining Miner did not release today, we don't know as well. Kind regards, Skollheim & MTSU ___________________________ Okay what really happened is that Steam asked at the last minute some changes to the early access info appearing in the store page (literally today) because our game of ping pong e-mail with Steam support turned out to last until the Mining Miner's release date. We are very sorry that this happened. We know that this is the most awaited game of the decade, and for the records we will blame Valve entirely for this and not our immaculate incompetence at managing a video game's release. As soon as Steam gives us the green light, we will release Mining Miner to the store. It's only a matter of days. Oopsie, Skollheim & MTSU PS: 20% discount for the release
🛰️ Update 1.5.4 — "Anchor" is live on Steam! This one's all about stability and your saves/purchases being rock-solid. A big thanks to everyone who reported issues. 💙 🔧 Fixes ⚙️ Crew Missions crash — Opening Crew ▸ Missions while you had a completed mission waiting could hard-crash the game. Squashed. 🔄 Cross-device saves — PC (Steam) and mobile now use the same account identity, so your progress properly syncs between devices instead of your PC keeping a separate save. If you play on both, this is the big one. 💳 Store purchases staying put — Purchased permanent boosters/unlocks are no longer wrongly removed on reload when the Steam client briefly fails to report your inventory. And if you already lost something you paid for, it's automatically restored on your next launch. No action needed. 🔒 Clear upgrade requirements — Memory upgrades with extra unlock conditions (like Shard Continuity Archive) now tell you exactly what's needed instead of showing a button that does nothing when tapped. ✨ Awakening Milestones explained — The panel now spells out how milestones advance: reach the shown Memory-Core target in a single Awakening (your best-yet is displayed). No more guessing. 📲 Update now on Steam (mobile update rolling out). If you were affected by lost purchases or save sync, updating + relaunching should sort it out — and if anything's still off, drop a note in the support channel. 🙌
