Season 1 Prep: Fixes and Balancing

Hotfixes Fix: items could appear twice in inventory after a run on Steam — caused by a server-side race where two cleanup paths both persisted the same loot. Thanks propandaplays for reporting. Fix: tempering a dagger's flat elemental damage attribute rolled in a much lower range than the original. Now uses the same range as when the dagger was generated or reforged (item level to 2× item level). Fix: rarely, using a Picky Scroll and immediately starting a run consumed the scroll without applying the filter — normal/common items kept dropping. Thanks Astreavan, categenov, and others for reporting. Perf: lightened the Nightmare fight visual effects (smaller glow, fewer particles) to reduce CPU usage during the fight on PC. Thanks Ok-Championship444 for reporting. Fix: rare race after starting a run where the enemy sprite was briefly missing and the HP bar visibly flickered 100→0→100→0 on each hit. Caused by the two server backends occasionally both emitting fight events for the same player after a network hiccup. Fight events now carry a run ID so the client ignores leftovers from a stale loop. Fix: crash on launch on Android 9–10 devices (Samsung Galaxy Tab A, Redmi, Evertek, and others). Caused by a display-cutout setting that only exists on Android 12+. Behind the Scenes More balance values now sync from the server to the client, so future tweaks land without needing a client update. Balance — Resistance Softcap (Season 1 Prep) Reintroduced a meaningful softcap on per-element resistance. The existing guardrails — Verdant Woods drops capped at tier 1-7 (vs 3-10 in tougher areas), the 99% hard cap on effective resistance, and the auto-generated weakness to other elements when stacking physical resistance — weren't enough on their own to stop specialized phys-resistance builds from running away with both PvE and PvP. Vault show locked items, additional game settings

Hi Land Drifters!You can now show all items you do not have in the vault. The game will now remember which panel you locked it on between game sessions, so you can keep it on Overview or whatever you prefer. The slider bar for that panel will also remember its location.There are also additional settings like hiding the side panel buttons.Build 0.4.4-Vault show all filter now enabled and functional.-Toggle left/right panel fixed for castle and crafting.-The scroll slider on the right panel will now remember where you left it off between sessions.-Locked panels will now remember where you left it off between sessions-Toggle left/right panels now has a hide button to hide the buttons. Welcome back, it's Galactic Overthrow patch day! Along with that, a version bump to 1.1.There have been a lot of changes over the last few weeks while reacting to launch issues and feedback (thanks again for all of the reports!), and I'm bringing in a few new features and updates today. Because of this there's also been a version change to save files, prompting an update in version.A note on the save files: When you launch the game your previous save will have a warning telling you that the game is saved on an old version and may be unstable. You can still play and there should be no crashes, but some of the advanced techs changed position and so there might be some weirdness with techs in that section. After a successful galaxy jump your save will be back to normal, or you can start over and get a few more of the new changes that have been added. Either way, I don't expect it to break in any horrible ways...Additional Difficulty ModeI've added "Extreme" to the difficulty selector. Right now both Challenge and Extreme modes likely still need a little balance tweaking, but adding a second option will give me more leeway to make both combinations of settings engaging for the players looking for that level of challenge. With just the one challenging option there just wasn't enough room for me to tweak some of the values to keep it challenging without being punishing. The end goal for the Extreme setting is to be a bit punishing and more difficult for progress unless you're very optimized (or lucky). Let me know if you try it and how much trouble some of the later jumps give you. (Warning: Extreme mode has a chance to produce unwinnable situations if you've lost too many planets, plan accordingly).Balance ChangesSeveral of the previous updates included some balance changes, like changes to building costs, effects, some event costs and bonuses, etc. Additionally some more very small tweaks have been made in those areas but were mostly in the 1% to 2% change range, so not...

🛠️ Hotfix — Awakening Coin Accrual Fix & QoL Improvements Hello, this is the developer. In today's update, multiple reports came in from live that Awakening Coins (stars) weren't accruing properly. A hotfix has just been applied. Apologies for the inconvenience. If you have Re:Blade installed, the update downloads automatically — just restart the game. ✅ Main Fixes ▶ Awakening Coin accrual bug fixed In environments where loading takes a bit longer, the Awakening Coin system wasn't connecting properly, so stars weren't accruing even as your Awakening Level went up. This has been fixed. ※ Automatic compensation for accumulated Awakening Levels If you already have accumulated Awakening Levels, on your first launch after the patch, stars will be auto-granted in bulk to match the accumulated Awakening Level of every weapon. No manual action or compensation request needed. ▶ Missing translations fixed Some of the new Awakening effects had missing translation text in certain languages. This has been fixed. 🔧 QoL Improvements ▶ Info display added to the Awakening panel You can now see the following three things at a glance in the top-left of the Awakening panel: Awakening Coins (stars) owned Awakening Level of your currently equipped weapon Remaining Awakening Points You no longer have to switch to the Armory — you can check it directly from the panel. 📌 Other Removed the Awakening Coin system info popup that was showing up garbled in some languages on the start screen. AddedAdded frost-style panels across the top bar, feed and upgrade rails, and the bottom dock.Added a starfield backdrop on the research screen, plus a grid layout and a Curvature balance readout in the corner.Research details has been reworked to be more visually compelling and easier to read.Progression, Settings, Leaderboard, Welcome Back, and Patch Notes all share the same look as the in-game HUD.Its a pretty nice change.FixedSmoother play during long sessions, with less hitchiness when the simulation is running hot.The black hole scene now updates disk and pressure visuals without redrawing the whole 3D view every tick.Matter captures now batch together so late-game particle storms do not stutter the UI.Hold-to-feed no longer spams fire sound loads. Those clips are ready when you need them.Opening Patch Notes no longer risks a crash when certain visual effects are enabled.Grapefruits are no longer larger than the observable universe. The grapefruit has been contained.TweakedBottom dock, upgrade rail, and celebration toasts now match the new frost HUD style.Research header, filters, and detail panel now use the same dividers and flat cards as the rest of the UI.Patch Notes use a cleaner layout, and older versions stay listed in Settings.Welcome Back screen lays out your away-time stats more clearly.HUD refresh timing adjusted so rate readouts stay smooth without hogging the main thread. New Achievements | v2.5.75 🏆 This update adds a huge new wave of achievements, new leaderboard tracking, and a few cleanup fixes. 🏆 Over 100 New Achievements Over 100 new achievements have been added, bringing the total achievement count to 218! Only some achievements are currently connected to Steam due to the Steam achievement limit. The rest are available in-game and will be connected to Steam as soon as I am able to expand the limit. 🛠️ Achievement Display Fix Fixed a visual display bug in the achievements screen. 📅 Daily Challenge Cleanup Removed a few daily challenges that were not fitting the current balance or gameplay flow. 📊 New Steam Leaderboards Tons of new Steam leaderboards have been added, including leaderboards related to dry streaks and more. New Content: New Task Master Chests that provide bonus rewards (even some permanent stat boosts) for consistently completing your daily and weekly tasks. All new Leaderboard Player Font challenges to complete, all of which grant powerful stat boosts! Customize how your name is displayed on the Leaderboards by unlocking these cool colors and font styles! Tons of new Leaderboard Player Icons to purchase, all of which grant powerful stat boosts! Several new Leaderboard Player Background challenges to complete, all of which grant powerful stat boosts! Several new Challenge Missions to complete, all of which grant powerful stat boosts! Changes: Buffed Prestige Power rewards (in Res Packs, Battlepass, Daily Gifts, etc) if you have Mimic Chest Prestige Power unlocked (since Prestige Power earnings from the Mimic are so strong). Rebalanced the Community Event personal contribution amounts. The Level Milestone map perk on Desert was too strong and was making all other maps inferior in every way, so the following changes were made: The Level Milestone perk was swapped with a Mimic Chest Exp perk, which better fits this exp-focused map. Any levels you had in the previous Level Milestone perk automatically transferred to the new Mimic Chest Exp perk (they have the same cost and max level). To make up for the loss of this strong Level Milestone perk, it was instead added as a global bonus (affects all maps) in the Supreme Tech Tree. It is a new upgrade at the very bottom of the tree and can be maxed at Lv. 10 for +50%. This is actually stronger than the previous perk that maxed at +35%, AND it's a global bonus, so hopefully this is satisfactory despite having to pay more resources to get this upgrade back. QoL Improvements: Changed the description of Arbalest and Captain's skills and the Power Plant spell to more clearly describe how it calculates the energy earnings.
