Clicking on this menu will allow you to combine two pieces of loot on the floor to make an even stronger piece of loot if they're part of a crafting recipe.Crafted loot has a new unique Ω tier, and they're all stronger than the current maximum ∞ tier! They also use a mix of lower and higher tier loot to be crafted, so all sorts of loot is useful now even if you're far into the game!This system (and tons of this update) is actually based on the crafting system in our other idle corner game, Card Corner! So if you like what you see, make sure to check that game out. You can even get a discount if you already own Desktop Defender!New LootSpeaking of loot, we've added 56 new ones! That means that we've gone from 108 -> 164 loot types... That's a crazy 52% increase! Patch Notes A bunch of quality-of-life fixes and one big crossplatform improvement, mostly driven by player reports — thank you for sending them! Bug Fixes - **Mark-for-Sale in litters now updates immediately.** - **Pup profiles no longer leak stats info.** If you viewed the Stats or Genetics tab on an adult rat and then opened a pup (pinky), the pup's profile would briefly show conformation/genetics info that pinkies shouldn't reveal yet, until you clicked any visible tab. Opening a pup now correctly lands on the Pedigree tab. - **Breeding dropdowns work on Linux/Proton.** Several reports came in about the male/female pickers in the Breed tab not opening on Linux (including under Steam Proton) — you'd click the dropdown and nothing happened, though arrow keys still worked as a workaround. The dropdowns have been rebuilt to render entirely in-page instead of relying on the OS to draw a popup window, which fixes the Linux/Proton issue and shouldn't affect Windows or macOS at all. Same for the sort dropdown in that tab. - **Photo studio: rat info box no longer overlaps on long color names.** - **Photo studio: rosettes are no longer squished.** Rat Profile Improvements - **The profile modal now has a stable, resolution-aware size.** - **The scrollbar gutter is reserved.** - **Overall Show Quality now uses all five colors.** - **Conformation bars now have tick marks.** Navigation Improvements - **Each tab now remembers its own scroll position.**

v1.0.1 — Hotfix Thanks for the launch-week feedback! Quick patch to fix the most-reported issues: Fixes Starting Energy (and 6 other repeatable upgrades) weren't scaling past their first level. Level 2+ now grants the full per-level bonus as the description promises. "Reset" button now properly wipes ALL game state. Previously it deleted the save file but kept the in-memory state, so some unlocks and values persisted. Your Settings (language, FPS cap, music volume, etc.) are still preserved across a Reset. "Leave a Review" button inside the in-game popup now opens Entropy Archive's correct Steam page. Previously it could navigate to an unrelated app. Lore Archive section headers and locked-entry placeholders now update immediately when you change language (no need to switch tabs). Polish Added hover tooltips explaining Coherence and the SIG / FLX / CNT diagnostic readouts on the Core screen. Entropy upgrade entries no longer get visually "stuck" highlighted after a purchase. Recovered Systems screen layout cleaned up — sector list, descriptions, and mode selectors all render correctly now. Hey everyone,Bigger hotfix than I planned. Iris Nebula sat down with the game for the first time and walked me through an entire first-session bug report on Discord, and NICO flagged a numpad input miss in the Steam discussions. Eleven things got fixed, all from those two threads.Restart button actually restarts now. It was just quitting the game before, which killed Steam's playtime tracking and any achievement progress mid-session. Relaunches through Steam properly now, session stays continuous.Jukebox playlist persists between sessions. Saves were happening in the background but the game would close before the write hit disk. Writes synchronously on quit and pause now, your tracks stick around.Wheel Drop timer no longer freezes at "10:50". If you came back with a pending drop waiting, the UI never got the memo, the timer locked up and there was no Claim button. Drop count syncs on load now, button shows up where it should.Right-click window drag works after closing the Jukebox or Car Lot screen. You could end up in a state where drag stopped responding, and toggling the drag overlay made it worse by locking the whole UI. The whole chain is sorted.The arrow button under the game window matches the panel state. Opening Settings could close the game window but leave the arrow showing "open", forcing a double-click to toggle. Your last choice persists across launches too, so if you closed it, it stays closed.Wheel sizing in the garage no longer compounds on itself. Setting rims to 1.2x and pressing Apply a few times used to grow them bigger than the car each press. Apply starts from the original size every time now, and 1.00x actually resets to default.Retro filter is pixel perfect at integer window scales. At 1.00x it was throwing those weird moire patterns onto everything because the render target didn't line up with native pixels. Hey everyone, I wanted to tell you about a new app I created which is launching in just a couple days here on Steam! It's called HiFi Streamer Pro, it's a media player that I created for use in streaming my music from my Plex server in high sound quality, now as a standalone app it has the ability to do WASAPI exclusive mode for bit-perfect sound and a new mini-player with borderless skins which are totally customizable. It was always designed to just be an audio-only player, but I am imagining expansion and plugins providing us with more limitless possibilities, and I think we could get the workshop system working here to share things like miniplayers. The premise being, I use Plex at home and sometimes you have a random MP3 or audio file you want to test, and you can't exactly just "drag" stuff into you server to play it like a regular temporary listening experience... or mix your queue with multiple Plex server connections, locally "dragged-in" tracks, local libraries (network paths), and other methods like mixed into the exact same system... and still have Last.FM properly assigning the scrobbles to everything... It was always perplexing, and now with my creation here, you can own this type of player for just a couple bucks. The included miniplayer skins are just intended to be demos of what is possible, you can take the HTML folder and show the templates to an AI and they can create you any skin you can possibly dream of, pretty much instantly. The "car stereo" one is one that differs in overall shape, so when making different geometry skins it will be a good example to look at. It will be released soon on 5/26 so Wishlist It and Follow The Page please! And don't worry, new JAMs stuff is still coming!! As is a bunch of other stuff too!
