Hi shop managers! Quick maintenance Hotfix v1.0.0.0.61 is now live! Since the launch of Multiplayer Mode, Cyber-Wall Street has descended into unprecedented chaos. To bring order back to the market and add a bit more flair to your desktop companions, we’ve deployed the following hotfix: 🛠️ Multiplayer Stock Value Anomaly Fixed Fixed a critical bug in multiplayer lobbies where simultaneous, aggressive short-selling and market manipulation by multiple players caused stock values to overflow and completely break the candlestick charts. (The Tiandao calculation engine has recalibrated the gravitational pull of the NASDAQ. Your stock prices will no longer levitate into outer space via infinite leverage exploits. Please stop pushing the boundaries of our backend physics!) 💬 UI Visual Upgrade: Comic-Style Bubbles for Cat Counter We have fully upgraded the cat counter on your desktop pet UI with dynamic, comic-book-style speech bubbles. (Say goodbye to boring, floating numbers! Now, whether you're tallying up your massive profits or just poking your cats, the counter will burst with exaggerated comic-style effects. Break the fourth wall and let your desktop overflow with the chaotic anime energy of your feline workforce!) Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. Happy trading, and may your newly fixed stock charts always point up!
A Tutorial button has been added to the left of the sun button in Settings. Click to view the game operation guide. Moon mode has also been optimized: tapping the moon button no longer triggers fixed screen dimming. A slider under the moon icon allows manual adjustment of screen brightness percentage, and all UI elements are excluded from the dimming effect.

The pitch on it says the thing plainly: the colony has surveyed outward since the day it landed, and nobody thought to survey down. 110 million points, half of what the Spire took, rising through four stages you can watch on the map: survey stakes, sounding rig, shaft head, first cut. Priced on the same ladder as the Spire, by tier and processing depth rather than by what anyone is sitting on. Shared items keep the value they already had, so nothing is worth more or less depending on which build you pour it into. What is at the bottom is the entire point of digging, and I am not telling you before you get there. The settlement map remembers Finished projects keep their plot. The Spire still stands where you built it, its final numbers frozen the day it completed: the total, the people who carried it, and what you put in yourself. You can move between them, monument to active build and back. Finishing one no longer quietly erases it to make room for the next. Fixes World boss hits reward your build again. Showcased items show visitors their real appearance, skins included. Short absences now report what happened while you were gone, and time you were present for is no longer simulated a second time. Roadmap no longer leaves a pane stranded over the window after you close it. Tutorial survives losing your first session. Names settle after the first few changes. Top bar dropdowns open above the interface, the bar wraps instead of running off the edge on narrow screens, and the floating tools size properly on phones. Yield popups stopped throwing on every drop.
This small update for Lured In introduces some fixes for Steam Deck, as well as more changes to the chef and scientist to fix problems and make them more balanced. This update also adds in a few new things, such as fish silhouettes in the water, cancelling minigames, and some panels for the ascension/research menus. Lured In now also uses a save backup system, so if a save gets corrupted, it can attempt to load your backup save instead. This should help alleviate problems people have had with saves being corrupted.ChangelogAdditionsAdded in a backup save system. Now whenever the game saves, it creates another duplicate save. Then if your main save is ever corrupted, the game attempts to load the backup. Hopefully this will prevent the rare scenarios when someone quits on the frame of a save, and their data is corruptedAdded in fish silhouettes that bite and nibble your bobber in the waterAdded the ability to cancel out of a minigame while your inside of it with escape (start on controller)Added in some panels inside of the research and ascension menus to show your current amount of currencyChangesMade it so the chef and scientist will only trade with fish that you have already discovered beforeMade it so the chef and scientist will use the minnow as a backup fish incase there are no valid fish to pick fromImproved the rate at which the aquarium cursor updates its position on mouseChanged the position of the chef and scientist so they are easier to click onSlightly changed the shape of the navigation area to leave a notch where customers will avoid the chef and scientistMade multiple tweaks to functions to better support moddingIncreased the distance away that the broomba can collect donationsUpdated all translations and contributorsFixesFixed an issue where some nodes in the research tree were unselectable. Last week I updated the climate model to accommodate phase change heat and I said it was a mistake. It was a mistake. We've had so many climate-related issues this week. I need to apologize for one of them : runaway greenhouse effect from water was far too common. This update rectifies this. It also includes a large nerf to safe GHG. Not really because it needed nerfing, but because it was just too powerful for what is physically plausible. In terms of new stuff we have a new very late advanced research. I want to add more advanced researches in that part of the game. It's a bit barebones right now. I also added a new difficulty setting for space capacity. This is effectively a major nerf to space elevator. It probably needs balancing, but I want to do so after I also added aerobreaking. They will be able to work together. There is also a major rework of atmospheric chemistry. Stuff like methane combustion if you ever noticed it. Now ammonia and hydrogen can do the same... and they now all generate some heat! So if your atmosphere is indeed set on fire you are going to feel it.
