Here is a quick, to-the-point list of what is now live: ⏱️ Clocks & Turn HUD Right HUD Thematic Clocks: Moved timers to custom, board-themed clock cards on the right side of the board. Features dynamic Steam name displays and a centerpiece turn banner ("YOUR MOVE" / "OPPONENT'S MOVE") that pulses colors using sine-wave animations. Desync-free Timers: Changed to client clock authority. Your client ticks down your clock, and your opponent's ticks down theirs, syncing the remaining time and +5s increment on every move. No more false timeouts due to packet latency. Clean UI: Hidden campaign passive displays ("+10/s") in multiplayer. 🔌 Reconnections & Game Flow Inactivity Warning: Added a "RECONNECTING..." overlay if no packets are received from the opponent for 60 seconds. Transitions to a disconnect screen after a 5-second grace period where you can claim a victory immediately. Color-Swap Rematch: Added a "REMATCH (X/2)" button. Voting resets the board and swaps player colors (former Host plays White, former Joiner plays Black). Instant Re-queue: Added a "PLAY AGAIN" button on match completion that leaves the lobby and queues you up for a new matchmaking lobby immediately. 🧠 Self-Play (Analysis) Mode Local Opening Study: Added a "Self-Play (Analysis)" button at the bottom of the multiplayer mode menu. Move pieces for BOTH colors locally turn-by-turn to test opening combinations. Balanced Stats: Uses multiplayer base stats (King HP 15, Queen HP 12, flat damage, Pawn front attacks) without clocks or network replication. Reset & Quit Actions: Includes a quick Reset Board button to clear the board and restore pieces, plus a Quit button to return to the menu cleanly.

Fixes & Improvements Coins Display Fix Fixed an issue where the client was incorrectly doubling recently earned coins locally after syncing. All coins were still properly tracked and credited on the server during this display bug. This was a client-side display/sync issue, not a loss of earned coins. Daily Challenge Display Fix Daily challenges should no longer display old data. Daily Login Achievement Fix The daily login achievement should now track properly going forward. A couple more updates covering a frustrating skill-gate bug, and a side quest that wasn't pulling its weight. Estate and Ranch Skill Requirement Fix (v2.23.1) This one was quietly frustrating players who prestige-reset their skills. If you leveled Animal Husbandry to 25, unlocked your Ranch structures, and then reset the skill - the upgrade requirements would re-lock even though you had already met them this rebirth. Same issue affected Estate room builds and Housing upgrades tied to skill levels. What changed: The game now tracks your highest skill level reached this rebirth for every skill. Housing upgrades, Estate room builds and upgrades, and Animal Ranch structure upgrades all check that peak level - not your current one. The skill requirement badges in the Estate and Ranch pages now display your peak level so you can see the correct met/unmet status even after a prestige reset. Existing saves are automatically updated on load - no action needed. Side Quest Cleanup (v2.23.2) The "Focused Training" side quest has been removed. It asked you to "start skill training sessions" - which happens automatically any time you switch tasks. It required no deliberate effort and rewarded almost nothing, making it feel like padding next to every other side quest. What changed: "Focused Training" will no longer appear as a new side quest. UI patches and Controller Issues Fixed Multiplayer Mode Fixes 1. Fixed An issue on controller controls being reverted same as UI tooltips (still a bug of the tooltip going off screen at the top (will be fixed) 2. Fixed a UI issue when playing as black in multiplayer mode it would say Enemy Pawn On black pieces 3. A large batch of fixes and improvements is live today, covering gem sockets, Alteration and Inscription pages, and familiar persistence. Gem Sockets: Stability Overhaul Gem socket data is now stored directly on the item instead of in a separate slot-based system. This fixes several silent data-loss issues reported since sockets launched. Selling unrelated items no longer removes socketed gems - Inscribed or altered gems socketed into jewelry will no longer disappear when you sell another item. This was a sneaky one! Unequipping socketed jewelry now preserves gem data - Rings and amulets with socketed gems now stay as unique inventory items so their gem data travels with them. If all gems are removed, and the item has no inscription or alteration, it can merge back into the plain stack as before. Improved Inscribe and Alter Functionality The Alteration and Inscription pages now show equipped (socketed) gems directly in their lists. You no longer need to unequip gems before working on them. I'm aware of the UI strangeness with how inscription shows socketed gems. I'll work on that more soon. Socketed gems can now be altered or inscribed directly - Socketed gems appear as individual entries beneath their ring or amulet, so you no longer need to remove them first. Equipped items update directly - Altering or inscribing equipped gear no longer splits a copy from your inventory stack. The equipped item itself is updated. Alteration panel banner now uses the right reason - The info banner now correctly says "socketed", "inscribed", or "equipped" depending on why the item is already unique. Socketed gem tooltips now show full stats - Hovering a socketed gem in the equipment panel now shows base stats plus alteration and inscription bonuses. Jewelry tooltips now include enhanced gem stats - Hovering a ring or amulet now shows each socketed gem's total stats, including alteration and inscription bonuses. When a tutorial starts while a menu such as Settings is open, the game now automatically returns to the main screen. Right-click back behavior is also restricted during tutorials so it only works when the tutorial explicitly expects it. This should reduce situations where the game appears stuck due to an unexpected screen state.

Added an internal save backup system, which acts as a safety net against silent write failures (AV locks, steam cloud, crash mid-write, sleep shenanigans, etc), to prevent those rare save losing cases. Additional fixes for the bonus PP from previous hotfix resetting. Reduced the costs of Railguns and Railgun Capacitor a bit. Further reduced the costs of Nuclear Research and Air Strike, and increased the chance per tier of Air Strike. Added the ability to right click on the mountain to toggle Eternal Feasting (auto-clicking) ON/OFF.

Fixes & Improvements Coins Display Fix Fixed an issue with the coins display not showing correctly in some cases. Community Pet Stat Animation Performance Fix Community Pet stat animations have now been added to the Header Counter Refresh settings. This caused another major FPS boost, especially for players who had Community Pet stats animating frequently while clicking or running the game in the background. Lower Header Counter Refresh values will now reduce the animation workload more effectively, giving players more control over visual smoothness, click responsiveness, and overall PC performance.
