New Game Mode Incoming

Hey everyone,It’s been 2 days since launch, and the support for DO NOT FEED THE VIRUS has honestly been amazing. Thank you to everyone playing, streaming, sharing clips, reporting bugs, and leaving reviews.We’ve also seen the feedback about the game length and amount of content. Well, we hear you, and we’re already working on it.We’re now preparing a big update focused on replayability.The first bonus game mode: ASCENSION.This mode will add randomized upgrade choices, and more content overall. Instead of the skill tree, you will have to choose your upgrades wisely to finish this mode. It will emphasize the tower defense aspect of the game, but I will not spoil the rest.Oh, and there will be multiple difficulties.Here’s a small prototype preview:We want to support the game actively so that you can replay it past the main campaign.If you’re enjoying the game, leaving a positive review helps us a lot and really supports future updates.Thanks again for the huge support these past 2 days.Antoine & Luc

First of all, I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support and kind words.I also appreciate the good constructive feedback, and I love the fact that the game brings joy to the players.I’m working of fixing many things, so here is the first major patch, that fixes some issues. I added the Windowed mode to the game. In the Settings there is now a button that lets you toggle between windowed mode and Fullscreen mode. This was a requested feature from some players, so I added it.  I’ve fixed some of mistakes in Chinees and Japanese translations. Those are hard languages to get right to a non-native speaker. So, naturally, I will be working more on it in the future as well.Some bugs with Towers and Cobwebs were fixed.Some balancing issues with the spells were tweaked, but I try not to ruin the balance that was initially intended. It’s a delicate thing, so I’m fixing it little by little.Thank you all for your support and feedback.

New language: Brazilian Portuguese + Patch 1.0.5

Very excited to share that the game is now localized to Brazilian Portuguese by kind members of the community. If you would like to help me translate into Japanese, Simplified Chinese or Spanish please let me know:)) I have also pushed some improvements, balance changes, and fixes: Combat & Items: Damage Consistency: When you successfully hit a monster, your damage will now roll between 10% and 100% of your max hit (previously 1 to 100% of max hit). Bag & Bank Value: Values are now calculated using item sell prices instead of buy prices. This means your displayed wealth will drop by about 20%, but it is now a much more accurate reflection of your actual value. Cape Buff: Slightly increased the base damage of the strongest capes from 12 to 13 + lowered the accuracy on the quiver. Skilling: Late-Game Tokens: Improved token base drop rates for the final resources in 5 gathering skills to make them slightly easier to obtain: Canary (Woodcutting), Sunstone (Mining), & Raw Whale (Fishing): 1/1000 → 1/500 Inferno Sigil (Arcanery): 1/500 → 1/250 Canary Tree (Farming): 1/100 → 1/50 Baobab Tree (Farming): 1/150 → 1/100 Tree Requirements: Reduced requirements for diamond tree achievements by roughly half to speed up progression. Nerd requirement for Canary trees reduced from 2250 to 1500; Hard requirements adjusted to 250 Baobab and 250 Eucalyptus. Boost Tooltip: Simplified the skilling boost tooltip to read "2x batch" instead of "2x loot and 2x xp" for better clarity. Added fireworks when you hit 800 collection log slots, because that's pretty insane! Thank you all for your continued support!

They're identical to the Prime Realms in all but two regards: first, you're locked into a specific Class until the end of the Realm right from the start; and second, completing a Realm that way earns a Mysteries highscore for that Class Fractured Realm. These highscores provide small, permanent bonuses to any Realm type. A couple of balancing changes long overdue also made it in. And an assortment of bugs, help pages and other minor issues have been addressed. Come visit us!

Dao Companion Fixes

Greetings fellow cultivators! Here is some fixes to Dao Companion. Changes Dao companion task can no longer generate garden xp task, due to Gardening being unreliable XP gain. Fixed Companion stored Qi bar not being accurate with displayed values. Added companion buff to Combat Stats and cultivation breakthrough. You can now claim a buff instead of Qi from your Dao Companion, the buff gives scaling Attack, Accuracy, Defense and Health multiplier and Breakthrough bonus. Added ability to pay your Dao companion to finish the task, however it will be expensive and they will be disappointed in you.

Greetings yet again, and happy Friday! I added another new layer of currency to that shop which I'll from now on be calling the Infiniteable Shop, and a few more things.Gameplay/UI:- Added a few beginner tooltips which should only appear for those who haven't rebooted at least once. These do get thrown in your face, however once you get through all of them (which is relatively quick) no more appear and you're free to continue researching- Escape key now exits the game as well- Swapped the Lv. text for Vibrance to be next to the title rather than in the description- Added Lv. text to Core Infusion- Removed the useless and ugly looking Mythic/Godly text that appears when obtaining their respective card, it interfered with a new UI elementBug Fixes:- Vial Surge label wasn't correctly showing under rare circumstancesAchievements:- Removed Full Market Collection achievement- Added three new achievements for new currency layer- Added two new upgrades for Spendable Prestige PointsEssence Shop:- Vial Surge click requirement increased from 200 to 1000 - this nerf is more for (in my opinion) balancing with one of the new upgradesInfiniteable Shop:- Slightly polished up the look of the conversion area for all currencies, hopefully it's a bit less of an eye sore now- New tab for a new currency layer with all new upgrades Enjoy! - Infinity Labs

Hi everyone!Timber Rush Update 1.1.2 is live!Highlights:Fixed some save file issues. Specifically if the save failed to write to disk properly, it would leave a blank save file, which would leave users in a perpetual state of being unable to save their progress.Fixed a bug that was causing chests to override your level ups. Most notably in the beginning of the run when you are more likely to get combined levels.Fixed a bug that was allowing your crew to get a few chops in the instance you started a run, combined with auto collect it would could cause users to miss a few level ups.Fixed a bug in some circumstances where not all levels would be accounted for in the combined levels.With these fixes hopefully the late game is considerably easier and also allows players to break the game even faster! I've been contemplating a simplified prestige system (one that wouldn't rely on the existing currencies), so stay tuned for that in the future!Fellwood AnnouncementMy next game is called Fellwood and it also is timber related! This game will lean a little more into idle gameplay, but I still intend to have plenty of active gameplay for those who want it. The Syndicate Update - v2.15.0

The Syndicate Update - v2.15.0 The underworld of Visseron is getting bigger today with a major update to both Thieving and Mercantile! This update adds new tasks, stronger synergy between stealing goods and fencing them, new gold-boosting Trade Certificates, and Influence Documents that can help you skip side or timed quests when you would rather keep moving. Here is what is new in v2.15.0: Thieving & Mercantile Overhaul Thieving Expanded: 7 new heist tasks have been added, letting you steal seeds, gems, herbs, and ingots as you level up. Room Upgrade Progression: High-level document forgery and vault robbery now require the proper Thieving room upgrades. Mercantile Expanded: 11 new Mercantile tasks have been added, including Fence Operations, Trade Certificate minting, and Influence Document drafting. Fence Operations: Stolen goods can now be fenced through Mercantile tasks for extra profit. New Mechanics Trade Certificates: Mercantile can now craft Trade Certificates that boost all gold income by 15-40% for a limited time. This includes monster kills, quest rewards, item sales, Provisions Hall income, dungeon loot, and chest opens. Market Stall Scaling: Trade Certificate duration now scales with your Market Stall room level: 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes. Influence Documents: Mercantile can now craft Influence Documents, which can be used from the Quest Page to instantly complete active side or timed quests. Quest Page Support: Once your Market Stall is built, eligible quest cards will show a new Use Influence button. Passive Estate XP Bonuses: Estate room upgrades now grant passive XP bonuses to their related skill. Tiered rooms provide +5%, +10%, or +15% XP. DNS Fix for Certain DNS Resolvers (Such as 1.1.1.3 from Cloudflare)

We recently helped a user who had issues connecting to the server even though we've had 100% uptime in recent weeks. After going back and forth, we narrowed this problem to the use of a filtered DNS resolver (in this case, 1.1.1.3, Cloudflare's "family friendly" DNS). Apparently the word "hacking" in our domain name was triggering this filter, which was likely the case for another user who claimed their ISP had a parental lock interfering with accessing our game. This update embeds a fallback IP address to hopefully allow users to access the game without having to tinker with DNS or ISP keyword blocks.

This update makes that possible!Territory Painting Layers 🎨Previously, by painting you always overwrote both the owner and the rightful owner, unless the nations were at war. Now there are two layers to paint for: Owner and Rightful OwnerLike the tooltip says, most of the time you want to keep both these layers on to paint normal land changes. But if you want to paint occupations, or rightful territory for one nation, or more concrete preset revolt borders, these layers become quite useful.Here's how each configuration works:Here's another showcase of the "Rightful Territory Paint Mode" that appears when you only have that layer on. Don't get it mixed with the Diplomatic Map Mode!This should make painting with the new rightful territory system much easier.
