The dev team has now doubled! (and will triple when the heat wave subsides) Our new member has implemented a great new QoL addition. You can now toggle Mouse Support on/off from the Game settings screen. Additional QoL - the left hand sidebar infrastrucure and ship queues are now collapsible and compact, with a green highlight on the active row.
This patch fixes two bugs: - The game would sometimes crash if you tried to open the Remap Keybinds menu - The Sanctuary Bonus didn't count Mystical and Verdant Oases
BALANCING - The Altar of Second Chance: The base area of effect for automatic clicks has been reduced from 14 to 11. However, it increases with each building upgrade level: +1 per star. Therefore, it can reach a maximum of 20. DEBUG - Fixed a bug with the adventurers' AI where they would sometimes refuse to enter buildings (especially when you have a wide variety of them); please let us know if you encounter this bug or behavior :) - Fixed an issue where items were lost when moving between saves or villages due to a save/synchronization error. We have added extra safeguards and slightly modified the save system for this process. Sometimes you had articles without icons (articles lost in the twisted void). WARNING: Some items in your inventories might disappear with this update due to the new security measures, but this should not happen again in the future. - Debug: Day/night auto-cycle correctly initialized upon session launch

A thousand people buying our little indie game within a couple of hours after the release, that's the dream!Thank you all for your feedback, which we will address in time. There was one issue that needed urgent fixing though: The controller focus was lost when starting a new game after unlocking the upgrade which allows to disable cards. This is now fixed, so Steam Deck users, you're back in business! We hope you continue to have fun with this
A late-game smoothness pass, from your reports. Smoother late game Fixed frame-rate dips once your skills are completing many tasks per second. The game was doing a lot of redundant work on every single task completion; that's now batched, so high-speed late-game play stays smooth. Your money, XP and upgrades all still update live — just without the stutter. Thanks for the reports, and especially to those who flagged the late-game slowdown.

Something to chase well beyond your first all-99. Quality of life Next Founder Point at a glance — the refound prompt and Founders Club now show how much more this run needs to earn your next Founder Point. Tidier menu — audio, display and theme are grouped under Settings, and Achievements + Hiscores under Records, so the menu is shorter and easier to scan. Hello everyone! This is a new update focused on improving the gameplay experience and responding to your feedback.🎮 Movement and motion sickness improvementsI’ve been working for quite a while to reduce as much as possible the discomfort some players experienced while moving around the kitchen. In this update I’ve made several adjustments:General control fluidity has been improved.Controls have been slightly adjusted to make movement feel smoother and more gradual. You can now change the floor color to lower-contrast tones, which helps reduce motion sickness. If you previously experienced motion sickness, I’d love to know if this version feels more comfortable. Any feedback about movement or controls is very welcome.🚚 Rider outfit adjustmentsIn Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, time is disabled so players can focus on preparing dishes and enjoy a more relaxed experience. Some players didn’t notice when the delivery rider had arrived, and since this character is time-based, it could negatively affect their ratings if not served in time.To fix this:In Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, the delivery timer will not start until you interact with an object (pick up or drop something). This gives you unlimited time to notice their arrival without unfair penalties.⏱️ More flexible Frenetic mode and breaks between ordersMany players requested more control over the pacing of Frenetic mode, especially the option to space out orders more (for example, every 2 or 3 minutes).Although this feature already existed through another mechanic, it is now better explained in-game:You can close the restaurant gate between orders to take a break, reorganize the kitchen, or prepare for the next customer.🙌 Thank you for playingThank you all for trying the game and leaving feedback. I’m still reading everything to keep improving the experience.

A small quality-of-life touch from your suggestions. Spot upgrades at a glance A red dot now appears next to a skill in your list whenever it has an upgrade you can afford and haven't bought yet — so you can see which skills have something waiting without opening each one. Handy for newcomers and veterans alike. Thanks for the suggestions — keep them coming.
A batch of quality-of-life fixes from your feedback — bundled into one update. Hiscores The Hiscores screen now shows your global rank on every board, not just one. Ranks are also remembered between menu opens, so they appear instantly instead of reloading each time. Quality of life Endgame is clearer — once all your skills hit level 99, the refound prompt reliably reappears (even if you dismissed it earlier), so it's obvious where the prestige loop continues. Activity log remembers its state — collapsed or expanded, and its height, now stay how you left them between runs. Fixes Fixed the "What's New" window popping up on every launch. Thanks as always for the reports — keep them coming.
Quick patch to address some low-frequency bugs that may affect gameplay. - Fixed: Unstable warhead can cause game board to be unresponsive if utilized in a fully conquered galaxy - Fixed: Choosing a game mode could potentially result in an undefined state, causing the game to run at a difficulty and game speed that's not expected - Fixed: UI issue with windows sometimes not hiding correctly (very rare). Thanks everyone for playing and your bug reports. Hopefully some more news soon on some upcoming changes.

After adding the Bubble Event's chips into the Gacha pool, it seems that they were appearing way too often! This should be fixed now that the drop rates have been re adjusted!
Garbage Growth is out right now!
Two fixes straight from your reports — thank you for the detailed write-ups. Mastery income, fixed A recent update capped how much Mastery boosted your income, which made earnings flat-line late game and stall your runs. Mastery now scales income on a smooth, ever-growing curve again — it ramps fast early and keeps climbing the more you stack, so high-Mastery runs feel rewarding instead of hitting a wall. (It still settles enough to keep the prestige loop meaningful.) Bulk-buy indicator The little "you can buy something" dots on the upgrade tabs now respect your selected buy amount (x1 / x10 / x100 / Max). No more dots telling you something's affordable when the x10 batch you've got selected isn't. Keep the feedback coming — it shapes every update.
Hello, this is the Hamster Talk Team.Bug Fixes- Fixed an issue where the game icon would disappear from the taskbar. If you have any bug reports or feedback, please let us know on our Discord. We carefully review every message.https://discord.gg/jF7vpBjzNmThank you.Team Hamster Talk
More straight from your suggestions — making the game easier to read, and easier to read at a glance. Resize the UI New UI Scale slider (Menu ▸ Display) — text or buttons too small (or too big)? Drag the slider anywhere from 80% to 150% and the whole interface resizes instantly. A "Reset to 100%" button returns to the auto-detected size. The single most-requested quality-of-life feature — thank you to everyone who asked. Live income readout See your $/sec — each running skill now shows its current earnings rate right on its row, and the top bar shows your combined rate across every active skill. Easy to see at a glance what's paying off. Fixes Tidier achievements — fixed already-earned achievements popping up again on launch (and, in rare cases, appearing to grant all at once). They're synced quietly now, so only brand-new unlocks get a notification. Smoother offline play — fixed a softlock where maxing every skill while away could block new skills from unlocking. Your unlocks now catch up the moment you return. Thanks for playing! Tell us what to build next on our Steam page.
A quick fix from your reports — thank you for the detailed bug write-ups. Fixed Offline softlock — if you maxed every unlocked skill while the game was closed, the next department could stay locked even though you'd earned it (the unlock check only ran while you were actively playing). Your unlocks are now reconciled the moment you return, so new skills open up right away. Worth knowing Offline XP multiplier is working as intended — it is applied while you're away. If progress feels capped, that's the offline time limit: 4 hours by default, or a full week with the Unlimited Offline upgrade. The remainder is earned quickly once you're back online. Keep the reports coming — they go straight into the next update.
