If Asteroid Mining Empire hits a fatal error, sending a report is now much simpler. Added a new Send Report button to the crash dialog. Crash reports can now be sent directly from the game. This should make it easier to track down crash issues and get fixes out faster. Thanks to everyone who keeps sending in reports and helping improve the game. I am thinking of adding some localization soon. If there is any recommendations please fire them though in the discussions :).
Hey everyone!We've added some major improvements and features in this new update, see below for the list:Improved / fixed affinity system where there was minimal relationship growth or decline.Relationships now evolve on their own between characters based on personality compatibility,shared workplaces, and proximity. Characters who work together or hang out at the same tavernin the evening grow closer faster. People who never cross paths still drift slowly through villagegossip.Relationship types (friend, rival, enemy, best friend, etc.) now automatically stay in sync withhow characters actually feel about each other instead of getting stuck on old labels.The social feed got a full redesign. Left sidebar shows character avatars with a gold highlight ifthey posted today. Click any avatar to see their profile including their occupation, hobbies, coinbalance, and who their friends and rivals are. Click relationship chips to jump between profiles.Click any name or avatar in a post to view that character.Daily reply quality improved. Characters now know how they feel about the person who posted,so rivals leave cold or sarcastic comments instead of generic praise. The AI better understandsthe difference between personal purchases, town projects, drama, and casual conversation.The town panel got a redesign. Characters now show up in a clean grid instead of a long list.Each card has their avatar centered on top, name, role, HP bar, coin count, and what they'recurrently doing. Click any card and the character sidebar slides in alongside the town panel soyou can browse your whole village without losing context.Characters now spend money based on personality. Hi all,I've got a small patch today fleshing out the expanded view of stats in Idle Mode. This includes displaying 5 stats to the player for Farm information, including two new stats being documented. This is just to give you more numbers to pour over as you develop you ant tunnels. The two new stats being tracked won't require new farm saves, but they won't backdate to the start of your farm. The new stats are total blocks destroyed in a particular farm and the total number of dirt clods collected in a particular farm. Lifetime total stats for these were already collected, but now they are collected for each individual farm. These stats are also collected for each individual play session.So just some stats for you all this time. Simple lil patch. Mentally I'm moving towards v0.5 which is tentatively the "Stats Update" and will add an extensive and thorough in-game stats menu to the main menu. This will include the lifetime values for as many stats as I can grab and the start of an in-game badge system that follows the steam achievements already created. ChestsOpening a chest now sends the nearest hero when possible, instead of picking someone far away. This fixes cases where a distant party member was sent to a chest that spawned right next to someone else. UIGame HUD: layout and readability improvements for clearer text and a cleaner layout. UpgradesThe first time you open the upgrade tree, a short hint explains that you can drag to move the tree. Tier 1 briefingThe first time you enter tier 1 in the dungeon, a one-time tutorial panel appears. This brings more clarification about the gameplay. Champion’s RevelationThe first time you purchase Champion’s Revelation from the upgrade tree, a one-time info panel appears with extra context on what your heroes can do from that point on.Lastly, we appreciate all the time you took to play the demo. Each dog visiting the park will have now have a "skill" meter - this will help them compete for the grand prize of the Expert Frisbee Competition! Each day you will have the opportunity to solve "rush hour" style puzzles for your dogs to increase their enrichment level. The German and Australian Shepherds have been added to the game as potential visitors, available to everyone by default. Also, a number of bug fixes have also been rolled out with this update!
