New: Online Leaderboard added - You can now compare your progress with other players through the Stats Panel. Data Agreement added -With the new online leaderboard, a Data Agreement has also been added. You can find it in the Menu. Improvements Apple Trail input fix - You can no longer instantly lose in Apple Trail by pressing the opposite direction of your current movement. Minigame balance updates - Apple Trail difficulty has been adjusted to fit the new input behavior. - Pollen Rush is no longer unfairly difficult after reaching Gold. - Colony Call has been tuned to feel better overall and may be slightly easier. More minigame information - The Additional Information tooltip now includes more details for minigames. Tree button tooltips added - Tree buttons now show tooltips for clearer information. “The End” achievement description updated - It now makes it clear that you need to unlock all achievements to earn it. Experience curve adjusted - The EXP required per level has been increased, making higher levels require more experience than before. Hehe! The demo for my new game is done, so I finally have time to work on the mobile port. Optimized a few things while I was at it.Fixed the performance hitching when checking hero bounties. The culprit was actually legacy code from the first version where heroes spawned directly on the map, which triggered a "mega-loop" for collision detection. Even though the heroes were moved off-map later, that code was still hogging resources!Unified the hero card UI. The "Rename" and "Gift" functions have been moved to the Hero Details screen. 3. Added a feature to directly tear up jobs. 4.Sped up job generation and fishing. 5.Fixed a bug where heroes would sometimes just spin in circles.I'm still looking for a publisher, so my new game Steam page won't be live just yet. ChangesNew Cursed Item: Inevitus, Staff of Doom — A new intelligence cursed weapon. Its unique effect, Inevitus, casts a permanent Shadow Beam on the enemy with the highest max health based on your first equipped Shadow Beam skill. The beam retargets automatically when the current target dies.Doom Catalyst — Shadowbolt now detonates Doom from any warlock on the target, not just Doom applied by the casting warlock. Re-application no longer creates duplicate Doom stacks when the caster already has one on the target.
This update focuses on fixing and improving some things around the Deeper update. The first main thing is increased cost scaling for productivity and luck upgrades, as those ended up too powerful after the Deeper update. Your luck and productivity upgrade level will be automatically adjusted to new values based on the new cost scaling.Then I have added a new upgrade called Sell portals. This can be unlocked after the storage minecart has been fully maxed out and replaces the storage minecart with sell portals that sells any wands (or gems and logs if the fences are down) directly without any need for transport. This is to solve the storage minecart becoming a bottleneck in the pipeline at the end as the only limit with the sell portals are how fast you can craft wands.There is a bonus upgrade in this update as well, saw lasers. The saw laser allows the moose to mine more than 1 tile deep at a time. This is an upgrade I wanted to add to the game a while back, but did not have the time to look into as it seemed to need quite a lot of work. But when I took a look at it again now due to some other changes and improvements I had made to the game, it was a pretty quick thing to add. It comes as an upgrade in the upgrade screen, where you can increase the maximum laser length. And then if a moose is mining a gem or a tree and has more damage than is needed to mine it completely the damage left will be used to send out a laser to mine the next gem or tree. It speeds up the mining a lot whenever a moose has more saw damage than could otherwise be used in the area it is mining. There are a couple of other things in the update and some bug fixes as well. The goal of this patch is to speed up energy gains for mid-game players, and to balance energy farming sources for end-game players. New Content: Several new upgrades across all menus to buff the Mimic Chest Boss. Changes: Buffed automation damage, gold, and energy stats and max levels to make them more useful for pushing and dedicated gold/energy runs. Buffed Arbalest's Energy Source skill from +0.5% to +1% per skill power and also accounts for super/ultra energy chances. Buffed Arbalest's Mastery skill from +3 to +5 energy per level. Buffed Captain's Energy Aura skill to account for super/ultra energy chances. Slightly nerfed Captain's Mastery energy bonus on Power Mages from 10% to 8% per level. It is also capped at 30x Power Mage kills, after which the bonus will stop stacking/increasing. Slightly nerfed Power Mage energy bonus from milestones and synergies (by about 5%). Buffed Power Plant spell to account for super/ultra chance and also scales up based on Arbalest and Captain’s mastery levels to ensure it stays useful at end-game. Reduced the chance of the Golden Boss kills daily task appearing until you have more spawn chance upgrades. All "Golden" bosses (mimics, goblins, power mages, and training dummies) have 10% more HP than the original bosses. Increased the max level of the Automation Ultimus Min Wave Setting to 15 (wave 80k). QoL Improvements: When a hero has "No Skills" target setting enabled, it will still show his damage under him, but his skill bar will change to red. Added a new "chilling" animation when a hero is not attacking or using skills. Added current run Prestige Power earnings to the Stats menu. This will display your earnings based on if you were to Prestige at the current wave plus any earnings from the Mimic Chest Boss. Added more Mimic Chest stats to the Stats menu. I honestly don't remember what I changed. That said it should be more stable, I definitely boosted the heck out of the megastructures, added some researches for them and automation for them. There may be bugs there may not.

I've heard the people, and some of the people wanted more clarity. A new button has been added to the pause menu to pull up a tutorial screen where you can look at different aspects of the game in greater detail. This should improve the new player experience and help the initial game be less of a wall of new things to learn. In addition to this, thanks to some testing help from a friend, Linux and Steamdeck builds are now ready! Although Steamdeck probably is awful at first until you get a good passive ramp going... A couple hundred of you have bought the game and I love and appreciate you all, I'm still learning proper engagement stuff, so I'll have a store page setup for the game I'm working on long before the game is done in order to accumulate wishlists. Hey all, Bauske here.I know it's been a long while. I'll cut straight to the chase: This update isn't a content update, but instead the update I've been working on for a while to fix the majority of the major bugs that have been plaguing Micro Stream RPG these past few months.I wanted to get a full update out that featured new dungeons, new enemies, some new mechanics, AND have the bug fixes as well. Honestly that was kind of a stupid move on my part. The bug fixes should have been top priority on their own. Add to that that I started a new job in January, and it has been draining getting used to the 8-5 grind again. Full time jobs take up so much of our times, it leaves little room for game dev or creativity, but I've been working on Micro Stream RPG whenever I can to get this stuff done.All this to say that the content update IS still coming, and is moving along nicely. Just a little bit more work to be done in the fourth dungeon and it'll be finished. But for now, I wanted to get this update out that addresses the nasty bugs that caused me months of stress. I think I've finally fixed them. In the build I've been using to test the new dungeons and enemies over the past couple months, I haven't experienced any of the common issues. Feels like I might have squashed the bugs.So, this is a major update for bugs, but a minor update for content. But don't worry, the content is still coming. I'd ultimately like to get it done by the end of March, but I don't want to make any promises I can't keep.
