v2.25.7 - XP Display, Menagerie Polish, and Comfort Visuals

Hey everyone, A new update is live with clearer XP displays, a few Menagerie improvements, and some small UI fixes. XP Display Improvements XP bonus badge added to skill pages - Every skill page now shows an XP bonus badge in the header, just like the Combat page. Hover it to see a full breakdown of active XP bonuses for that skill, including Housing, Rebirth, equipped relics, Collectibles, Meditation, active potions, and Estate room bonuses. Task cards now show your actual earned XP - Task cards now include active bonuses from housing, rebirth, relics, meditation, potions, and estate rooms. The number updates in real time as your bonuses change. Combat XP displays now include bonuses - The XP/Kill stat during combat and the XP shown on enemy cards now include your active XP bonuses, so they match what you actually earn. Combat XP badge fixed - The Combat page XP badge now includes equipped relic XP bonuses and Collectible combat XP bonuses. These bonuses were already being applied correctly, but the badge was not showing them. Meditation and Alteration headers updated - The Meditation and Alteration pages now show the XP bonus badge in the header, matching the other skill pages. Meditation Display Fixes Retained focuses now show correctly after rebirth - The Meditation page now correctly shows any focus you kept through rebirth. Retained focuses display their active tier and buff value, along with a note that you need to level Meditation again before retraining them. Speed tooltip cleanup - The speed tooltip on task cards no longer lists meditation XP bonuses. XP bonuses now stay in the XP badge, while speed bonuses stay in the speed tooltip. Menagerie Improvements Menagerie Stash Collect All button - The Menagerie Stash now has a Collect All button, letting you grab everything in one click instead of collecting items one at a time. Bug Fixes + Passive eV Balancing Changes + Small Visual Additions

A full day done and I've found some things to fix and real small things to add. Make the lab and accelerator always present when not unlocked but locked, including a tracker for how to unlock it. So people can know what the game has before it just appearing when unlocked. Make the assistant status into an actual model where it will beam to what it collects to be more visually appealing. Changed the offline gained eV begin at 50% and then allows for upgrading after the lab is unlocked to get it to a 100%. After some thinking I did this so it isn't so overpowered at the start. Fixed a problem where the isotope collection was collecting more than it should and is displayed to do. Changed setting icons into neon lights Cut all molecules passive eV gain by 50%. They are very powerful, especially with offline gain.

v2.25.3 - Small Relic Hotfix

This is a small cleanup patch for Skilling Relics that were previously able to behave like socketable equipment. Skilling Relic Cleanup Socketed gems are safely removed from relics - If a gem was socketed into a Skilling Relic, it will be returned to your inventory on load. If your inventory is full, it will go to overflow. Affected relics are restored - Skilling Relics that were treated like equipment are returned to inventory and restored to their normal collectable state. No relics are lost - This cleanup happens automatically the next time you load the game. No action is required. Inventory Filter Fix Skilling Relics will now appear under the Misc inventory filter. Previously, relics were scattered throughout the inventory filters. It should be a far more reliable guide.Fixed being able to change equipment while on dispatch Changing a dispatched adventurer's gear had no effect on the ongoing run ("I changed it but nothing happened"). Don't fear, Yolk Heroes IS still being developed on, just VERY slowly. VERY slowly.However, the project that keeps taking time away from my Yolk Heroes baby is finally playable!For the Steam Next Fest we have Burn-9! Which is probably as hard a left turn tone wise from Yolk Heroes as we could possibly go, but it's been what we've been working on.Feel free to not be interested, I mean, I can't say I feel the overlap is all that strong between the two projects. Other than this one is also sort of a 'management' game. You play as the tech in the chair trying to keep a soldier on a suicide mission alive!You can go play the demo now if you want, wishlist it, or badmouth it.The choice is yours!Wish Yolk Heroes luck as well, the designer is on summer break from school and trying to finish up some stuff for Poke Place. They should now follow paths and bridges!Pathfinding & AwarenessImproved Woodling pathfinding and awareness, helping them make better decisions based on what's happening nearby instead of running across the entire grove unnecessarily.Woodlings now navigate paths and bridges more naturally and are better at moving around each other.Fixed an issue where some Woodlings would not join in chopping fallen trees properly. 🏦 Bank Tabs Organize your bank into multiple tabs. Create and delete tabs, and switch between them freely. Move items between tabs by dragging an item onto a tab or via right-click → Move to Tab. Rename a tab (double-click it), give it a custom icon (right-click an item → Set as Tab Icon), and drag tabs to reorder them. Deleting a tab is safe — its items move back to Tab 1, never lost. ⛏️ Separate Pickaxe & Axe Slots Tools now have two dedicated equipment slots instead of sharing one. Both stay equipped across all 3 gear sets — they no longer come off when you switch loadouts. ⚡ Combat & Quality of Life Dungeons can now auto-repeat — toggle it on and a cleared dungeon re-runs automatically at full rewards. Ancient Surge can be claimed straight from the Adventure Log (a ⚡ Claim button on the prompt), in addition to the bolt badge. Kill contracts now show live progress in the chat log (e.g. "7/20 slain — 13 to go"). 🐞 Bug Fixes Defence combat style no longer reverts to Melee when switching tabs. Fixed the Ancient Surge countdown freezing on skill cards after claiming. Additional UI polish and fixes.
