The banner can be turned off in settings Add back support for Windows 7/8/8.1 Devlog: A lesson I've learned recently is that always read changelogs. I usually keep the game's libraries up-to-date. However, during an update, the library (Electron) dropped support for Windows 7/8/8.1. It broke several players who are still using older Windows versions. I've downgraded to the last version that supports Windows 7/8/8.1. Industry Idle is in a good state - most bugs have been ironed out and the game is quite balanced - I feel it's time to leave early access and call it 1.0 - this should be just a matter of changing the version number and I plan to do it in the next update. Regarding CivIdle, I am doing final testing myself before the next playtest: fixing game-breaking bugs, and soft locks, and balancing the game a bit. If you are interested in joining the playtest, head over to our Discord and join #cividle-general channel, leave a message saying that you are interested and I will start distributing keys once the game is ready. Hey everyone! A few days before I made an announcement telling to not play this version of the game since is outdated and could corrupt your normal save file. But it has been of no use since many people continue to access this version without wanting to. New Content: Spend energy to reroll the original tile you are given. Tier 11 research upgrades. New achievements and daily missions. Changes: Unlock and use up to five divine towers, rather than just one. Significantly increased the amount of gold given from the mid-game resource pack. Activating "Last Stand" now pushes all enemies back several tiles (as well as gives you 5 extra lives). Battle Pass and Daily Gift premiums are now permanent (rather than monthly). Various minor balance adjustments. QoL Improvements: Improved user interface. Improved performance. Bug Fixes: Fixed a variety of bugs. - Added back auto-saving - Added 3 new buttons to the main page * Manual Save - Creates a new, separate savegame meant as a failsave/backup. Make sure to click this red button every time you close the game and every now and again. * Manual Load - Loads the manual save. * Load Autosave - Loads your regular save game that is created from the autosave. - Added the Prestige generator. * After you prestige at least 1 time, a new bar will start filling, based on the times you prestiged. So, at prestige 1, it will generate 1 out of 1million. After it fills, you get 1 prestige point. At prestige 2 it will 2 out of 1 million, so twice as fast. So, now it's worth it to prestige more than once. You also have a steady supply of prestige points which you can spend on upgrades more consistently than before. Your savegame should not be affected by any of the changes. Sorry to everyone, who has experienced issues with their savegame and have lost their progress. I was able to implement the prestige generator this fast, because I use the same mechanic in my new idle game. This is also the reason why I am not updating this game more frequently. The new game will be about food, instead of drugs. It's nearing the finish line and I hope for a better launch, than drugs and crime idles. Thank you all for playing. v1.5.5.2 has been released to the main branch with the following changes/fixes: The mortar and pestle alchemy talent has had its tooltip updated to clarify that it affects base cast speeds (before haste), and has been buffed to 5 seconds of cast time reduction per point. Fixed an issue where exiting the game while construction machines were still initializing could result in lost data or a corrupted save file. Added some safety checks to the item database to prevent potential cases where certain cached values could be null and cause errors.

Construction Machine Area Inspect You can now select an area of machines to perform group operations on them. Simply click on the group select button next to the build machine button and drag out a rectangular selection box. Current group operations supported are: delete, take all items, upgrade, move, group connect, and duplicate. Salvage Material Transmuting There is a new transmute tab on the salvage/upgrade window where you can transmute salvage materials. For example: You can turn 200 scrap and 25 proficium into 100 proficium, or up-convert quality based reagents with additional scrap into higher tiered quality reagents (doodads into dingbats, for example). There are currently a total of 46 different transmutation recipes available, so getting the specific salvage materials you need should be a bit easier now. New Item Tier and Higher RPM Effects This version adds a new item tier, Gold! The special effect of gold equipment gives you gold coins whenever you obtain a new item based on a percentage of the new item's value. There's 3 potions that have various wealth-related effects, too. Additionally, RPM effects now go up to 5 trillion RPM. Item Tier Level Rebalancing Item tiers (for example: stone, copper, iron, and so on) have had their respective skill level ranges adjusted. We have never anticipated how popular this game would be. 400 people might not seem like much nowadays, but to us that is a number we never expected. It was done more like a meme than an actual product.
