Important News On Future Updates

Hello everyone! I hope you have been enjoying Gelli Fields! I have some news relating to the next update, and all updates going forward.Hingewood HeightsThe Hingewood Heights update is coming along really nicely! I'm very excited for you all to see everything new this update adds. There's a new biome, the wrapping up of the first story arc, achievements, awesome upgrades, new quests, and more! But I need to address something and apologize. I have been advertising this update as coming out the 28th of June, which is not possible. A few things came up during development that has set the update back and I want to ensure this update is big, meaningful, and polished. This ties into my new philosophy for updates going forward. I'm not going to rush myself to get updates out, I'm going to work on the game at a comfortable pace and make sure I include as much love and care as possible into everything going forward. This means things will take awhile longer, but trust me it will be so, so much better.I don't want to promise another date because I will just end up rushing myself again to release on that date so instead I'll reveal the release date when it's ready. Next Fest is over!

Hello everyone! First off, I just want to say that this past week has easily been one of the most exciting weeks of my life. I’ve always wanted to create games. Over the past few years, I’ve been working a lot, learning even more, and slowly trying to turn that dream into something real. And now, I finally did it. I made a game, and that game releases tomorrow at 10 AM. The game will be available for $3.99, with a 15% launch discount for the first week, bringing it down to $3.39! This whole thing still feels completely surreal to me. I never really expected this game to become popular, or honestly even be enjoyed by this many people. To me, it was just a dream, quite literally, that I decided to turn into reality because I thought it would be fun to make and fun to play. But as of writing this, the game has passed 15,000 wishlists, and it could very likely hit 20,000 today. Not only that, but the game is currently in the top 600 for wishlist activity and in the top 2,000 most wishlisted games on Steam. That is just… insane. So many people from all around the world have played the demo, given feedback, shared really good advice, helped me find and squash bugs, and most importantly, gotten excited for what’s next. At launch, the game will include a handful of things that were missing from the demo, including color-coded feed particles, better visual feedback from the black hole, and a few more things I’m finishing up today. I am also writing this while 100% sleep deprived. There have been a lot of sleepless nights and a lot of very, very, veryyy late nights this past week, all to make sure everyone has the best experience possible when the full game launches. I also have a lot planned for future updates. I want to keep working with the community, listen to your ideas, and build this into a game that not only I enjoy, but you all enjoy too. 🐾 Pet Balance, Prayers & a Fix Pass Balance Pet drops are now balanced across every skill. The Firemaking and Cremation pets were dramatically slower than the rest (a Firemaking pet on elder logs was ~15× harder than Mining/Woodcutting/etc). All 17 pets now sit on the same difficulty curve. Iron Will is now +18% Melee Attack (it was mistakenly set to +15% Defense). This fills the high-tier melee attack prayer slot to match Range's Eagle Eye. Bug Fixes Flawed Ruby from monster/dungeon drops now gives the real, usable gem with its proper icon (it was showing a loot-crate icon and couldn't be used in crafting). Existing stranded stacks are auto-converted on load. Elder Salts (and all pyre salts) now drop while burning logs offline — overnight burning no longer yields zero salts. Bank: depositing or withdrawing items no longer shuffles the rest of your inventory around — items keep their slot, so your bag stops "moving." Backpacks no longer flicker when sitting in the bank. Offline dungeon contracts: auto-farming a dungeon contract overnight now keeps the contract active (re-accepts it) instead of leaving you with an empty slot you'd refill with a random monster contract. Quality of Life The Grand Backpack's +10% skilling XP now appears in the "Active Bonuses" XP breakdown, so you can finally see where that bonus comes from. Bank placeholders now also appear when an item is fully consumed by crafting (not just by withdrawing), preserving your tab layout. Beastmaster ("Find every pet") now correctly requires 17 pets — there are 17, one per skill (it was asking for 16).

New illustrated Handbook — a flip-through book with a table of contents. Opens automatically for new players; reopen any time from the tray menu (📖) or Settings. Cleaner poop & composting — drag your pet's poop onto the tree to compost; gifted "prank" poop is smaller now, with a clearer compost countdown. Display fix — pets, tree and panels no longer appear off-screen on displays scaled above 100% (125% / 150%). "Show dinos" now gathers your pets to the center of the monitor you're actually using.

This update makes combat more meaningful and bundles several early-game balance and display fixes.⚔️ CombatEnemies now actually use their skills. Several enemy abilities (crowd control, attack buffs, armor corrosion, evasion, and summons) were internally no-ops, so enemies just stood there on those turns. They're now implemented, adding more give-and-take to dungeon fights.Stun / Bind / Petrify briefly stop the target from acting; Buff raises damage dealt; Corrode raises damage taken; Evasion lowers damage taken; Summon calls reinforcements.Fixed an outlier enemy stat (Aqua_Siren) that was far too strong for its dungeon tier.🐛 FixesFixed equipped adventurers occasionally returning dead from non-lethal damage.
