Hi shop managers! Quick maintenance Hotfix v1.0.0.0.38 is now live. This patch focuses on squashing some visual bugs and drastically improving the background tracking logic for your desktop pet: 🛠️ Patch Notes Singularity Leaderboard Alignment Fix: Fixed a visual bug where player data and UI elements on the Singularity Leaderboard would become misaligned. (Astronomical wealth sometimes distorts spacetime and breaks UI grids. We've anchored the leaderboard with quantum stabilizers so you can accurately gaze upon your massive net worth!) "Hostile Takeover" Button Text Restored: Fixed an issue where the text on the "Forced Acquisition" button in the corporate district map would occasionally vanish. (You can't launch ruthless corporate warfare with a blank button! We've laser-engraved the text back onto the UI so you can aggressively buy out your rivals with absolute confidence). Uninterrupted Jump Rope Counter (Major QoL): Completely fixed an issue in Desktop Pet mode where the Jump Rope combo counter would freeze if the game window lost focus (e.g., when you click away to browse the web or type a document). (The background limiters are off! Now, no matter if you alt-tab, minimize, or multitask heavily, as long as your cat is jumping on your desktop, the combo counter will flawlessly track every single jump in the background. Keep working while your cat keeps crushing those combo records!) Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. Happy brewing!

Under Tower Idle – Community Feedback UpdateHello everyone! This update is dedicated to the incredible feedback we've received from the community. Many of the changes below were requested by players, and we're committed to making Under Tower Idle a smoother and more enjoyable experience with every update.🎮 Gameplay ImprovementsBackground ProgressionOne of the most requested features is finally here! When the game is minimized or running in the background:Islands will continue producing resources as normal.Production and automation will continue uninterrupted.Raid and Titan event timers will pause until you return to the game.New enemies will no longer spawn while the game is in the background.Any enemies already present on the map will also pause, preventing them from attacking your buildings while you're away. This allows you to step away from the game without worrying about losing progress or returning to unexpected damage.Crown Reset RestrictionsTo prevent players from accidentally missing valuable rewards:Crown Reset can no longer be performed while a Raid or Titan event is active.Completing these events before resetting is worthwhile, as they can increase the amount of Crown Points you earn and provide additional Skill Points.Raid Interaction ImprovementsWhile a Raid is active, resource nodes and houses can no longer be selected. This helps prevent accidental clicks and keeps the focus on defending your islands during combat.⚙️ Quality of LifeAchievementsThe Achievements button has been temporarily removed from the side panel until the reward system is fully implemented.Titan ImprovementsIncreased the time between Titan spawns. Titans will now appear every 20–30 minutes.Titans will no longer spawn on the opposite side of the camera, making it much easier to locate and target their weak points during battle.Settings MenuAdded a new Controls section to the Settings window with helpful information about the game's controls and key bindings.LocalizationFixed various tr...
🛠️ v1.5.9 — "True Cost" ✅ Your progress is safe — no reset. An upgrade-cost fix, plus a correction for the accounts it affected. Fixes - A few uncapped upgrades — Echoed Commands, Recovered Routine, the Anomaly Echoes, and several Memory upgrades — could get stuck costing just 1. Their price stopped rising at very high levels, so they could be bought endlessly for almost nothing. Their cost now scales correctly at every level. If this affected you — please read - A small number of accounts had those upgrades sitting at levels the bug made possible. On this update they're set back to a fair level (60), and any broken negative Time Shard / Memory Core balance is repaired. If you notice one of these drop, that's why — nothing else is touched (Energy, other upgrades, prestige, Exploration, Archive, cosmetics, identity), and they grow properly from here. Under the hood - Save-reliability groundwork: your on-device save is now written more safely (crash-resistant) with automatic backups.
MEGACITY — Patch 2.9.1: The Census Bureau Regrets the Error.Commanders,Some of you left the office at five million citizens and returned the next morning to one hundred billion. The food was gone, the water was gone, the steel was gone, rumours abound of sentient cloning vats and the Census Bureau had some explaining to do. This patch is that explanation...FIXED:*The overnight population explosion is fixed. The cause: temporary growth edicts were quietly stacking their bonus onto your city's permanent growth rate every single tick, and never giving it back when they expired. Leave the game running long enough, then step away overnight, and the offline simulation compounded that runaway rate into numbers no housing block was ever zoned for. Growth edicts now boost growth only while they are active, exactly as the paperwork always claimed.*Population growth is now held to sane limits across the board — edicts, technologies, policies, and events included. No single decree will ever again outbreed the laws of arithmetic.*If your city was already affected, you do not need to start over. The next time you load that save, a Census Correction runs automatically: the phantom billions are struck from the register and your population is restored to what your housing can actually support. You will find a report in your inbox confirming the audit. The Bureau thanks the affected citizens for their cooperation, insofar as they existed.CHANGED:*The Law tab has been reorganized. Sector edicts are now grouped into five categories — Security, Economic, Social, Infrastructure, and Political — each under its own header with a count, instead of one hundred decrees in a single unsorted pile. Bureaucracy remains, but it is now alphabetized bureaucracy.ADDED:*The in-game manual has a new Population and Housing section covering how growth works, how housing caps it, what temporary edict boosts actually do, and what a Census Correction means if you ever see one.NOTES:*Existing saves are fully...
🚀 v1.5.8 — "Many Voices" ✅ Your progress is safe — this update does not reset anything. A big translation pass and a performance fix. 🌐 Translation - Hundreds more of the game's words now translate into all 32 languages — building, upgrade, Store, crew and region names and their descriptions, and even the What's New screen itself. - If you play in a language other than English, far more of the Ark now reads in your language. ⚡ Performance - Fixed a slowdown that could build up during a session — most noticeable when playing in a non-English language and on large saves. The interface now runs noticeably smoother. Playing in another language or on Steam Deck and something still reads in English or looks off? Drop it here — it genuinely helps. 🙏
Localization Added release-supported language coverage for Dutch, German, Italian, and Russian. Removed beta labeling from supported language options. Improved Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese coverage across player-facing UI. Opening Sequence Added a hold-to-skip control to the opening cutscene. Characters and Combat Added female combat pose support for all player classes. Improved battle sprite scaling for pose-specific art so combat HUD placement remains stable. Improved combat log localization for generated combat and reward messages. Save and Offline Progression Offline catchup no longer runs when the player last saved from town. Legacy saves with missing character gender now normalize to a valid art path. Player profiles now track whether the player has played before. Tutorials Improved tutorial persistence after the shore clear. New returning-player characters can skip completed utility tutorial prompts. Improved tutorial recovery when returning to Bahast after map handoff. Items, Skills, and Inventory Localized skill parchment, support jewel, Writ, Reagent, Sigil, and item tooltip generated text. Improved item tooltip details for Alt-hover states. Improved equipment failure messages. Improved inventory/stash status messaging and crafting cursor copy. Town and Vendors Fixed Tide Market buyback warnings persisting after the vendor panel closes. Fixed Tide Market buyback behavior when the buyback tab is full. Fixed gambling category validation so generated gear matches the displayed slot and requirement family. Corrected the armor gambling stat family labels.

Under Tower Idle – Progression & Quality of Life UpdateHello everyone! This update focuses on improving the overall progression of the game. We've made resource production faster, expanded the information available while upgrading, and redesigned the Skill Tree to give players much more freedom when planning their builds. 📈 Better Upgrade PlanningResource nodes now provide much more information before you upgrade them. You can now preview both the current and next upgrade levels when upgrading island resource nodes. This makes it easier to plan your progression and decide which upgrades are worth investing in. ⚒️ Faster Crafting & Smoother ProgressionOne of the biggest goals of this update was to make the early and mid-game progression feel much smoother. We've reduced crafting costs and/or increased production speed for a wide variety of crafted resources, making production chains significantly less restrictive. The following items have been rebalanced:Iron IngotSteel IngotBronze IngotTin IngotCopper IngotAdamantine IngotMithril IngotGold IngotSilver IngotOak PlankBirch PlankHemp RopeFlourDoughSilk ClothSpider Silk ThreadAncient Wood PlankTomato SauceMuttonPorkMushroom ExtractCut DiamondCelestial WeaveDragon Hide LeatherEbony FrameBull MeatCarved Rune StoneThese adjustments significantly improve production flow and reduce unnecessary waiting, especially during the early stages of the game. 🌳 Skill Tree ReworkThe Skill Tree has been redesigned to give players greater freedom.Skill branches are no longer locked behind connected paths. You can now choose the upgrades that best fit your preferred playstyle instead of following a fixed progression route. This allows for more personalized and flexible character builds throughout your adventure. Thank YouThank you for continuing to support Under Tower Idle!Your feedback continues to shape the game, and every update brings us one step closer to the experience we want to create. If you encounter any bugs or have suggestions, please...
We shipped a fix for a serious bug, and we owe some of you an explanation and an apology. What went wrongOn first launch, Desktop Driller used to automatically enable the "start with Windows" option, and it registered that startup entry in the following way: instead of pointing to the game's own executable, it pointed to Steam with a command telling Steam to launch the game.Steam's uninstaller does not disable that entry, so it stayed behind after uninstalling. At every login, it told Steam to launch a game that was no longer installed, and Steam responded by adding it back to your library and queuing the download. Because the game is free-to-play, it could even re-add the license to accounts that had removed it.This was a bug, not a dark pattern. It was never meant to survive uninstalling, and we are sorry for the time and trust it cost you. What we changedThe startup entry now points to the game's own executable, so it stops working the moment the game is uninstalled. Windows ignores it.Starting with Windows is now opt-in. New players choose during the tutorial, existing players are asked once the first time they launch the updated game, and the option can be changed anytime in Settings. The Settings toggle also used to display the wrong state for Steam players, showing "off" while the option was actually on. That is fixed too.If you still have the game installedYou do not need to do anything. The next time the updated version runs, it repairs the old entry automatically. If you already uninstalled the game and it keeps coming backThe leftover entry is still on your PC, and the update cannot reach it. There are two ways to deal with it. Both take about a minute, and you can pick whichever you are more comfortable with.Option 1: stop the entry yourself, without reinstalling anything1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, then open the "Startup apps" tab.2. Right-click the column headers and enable the "Command line" column. This matters: the entry launches Steam...
Hello, You are billions probably wondering why Mining Miner did not release today, we don't know as well. Kind regards, Skollheim & MTSU ___________________________ Okay what really happened is that Steam asked at the last minute some changes to the early access info appearing in the store page (literally today) because our game of ping pong e-mail with Steam support turned out to last until the Mining Miner's release date. We are very sorry that this happened. We know that this is the most awaited game of the decade, and for the records we will blame Valve entirely for this and not our immaculate incompetence at managing a video game's release. As soon as Steam gives us the green light, we will release Mining Miner to the store. It's only a matter of days. Oopsie, Skollheim & MTSU PS: 20% discount for the release
🛰️ Update 1.5.4 — "Anchor" is live on Steam! This one's all about stability and your saves/purchases being rock-solid. A big thanks to everyone who reported issues. 💙 🔧 Fixes ⚙️ Crew Missions crash — Opening Crew ▸ Missions while you had a completed mission waiting could hard-crash the game. Squashed. 🔄 Cross-device saves — PC (Steam) and mobile now use the same account identity, so your progress properly syncs between devices instead of your PC keeping a separate save. If you play on both, this is the big one. 💳 Store purchases staying put — Purchased permanent boosters/unlocks are no longer wrongly removed on reload when the Steam client briefly fails to report your inventory. And if you already lost something you paid for, it's automatically restored on your next launch. No action needed. 🔒 Clear upgrade requirements — Memory upgrades with extra unlock conditions (like Shard Continuity Archive) now tell you exactly what's needed instead of showing a button that does nothing when tapped. ✨ Awakening Milestones explained — The panel now spells out how milestones advance: reach the shown Memory-Core target in a single Awakening (your best-yet is displayed). No more guessing. 📲 Update now on Steam (mobile update rolling out). If you were affected by lost purchases or save sync, updating + relaunching should sort it out — and if anything's still off, drop a note in the support channel. 🙌

🔧 Hotfixes 1.5.1 – 1.5.3 A run of quick fixes since 1.5.0 "Resonance", focused on cross-device saves, purchases, and audio. 💾 Saves & Cross-Device — 1.5.3 "Continuity" - Fixed a freeze/crash when loading a high-progress save on a second device — especially on Steam Deck / Linux (Proton). Big saves no longer lock up the game while processing achievements. - Your achievements now save to the cloud — they no longer re-trigger every time you switch between phone and PC. - ⚠️ If your save ever looks out of date on one device, use Settings → Data → Save Data → Load from Cloud to pull your latest. 🔊 Audio & Store — 1.5.2 "Restore" - Fixed the Master / Music / Sound volume sliders behaving erratically with a mouse on PC. - Store purchase restore reliability — if you're ever missing something you paid for, reach out on Discord and we'll get it restored. 🛡️ Purchases & Security — 1.5.1 "Safeguard" - Store purchase reliability and account-security improvements. ---All save-safe — no resets. Thanks for the detailed bug reports, Commanders — several of these came straight from your posts in discord.
Update • Added MAX purchase button in the shop — buy the maximum number of levels you can afford. Community Don't miss Steam Discussions — news, promos, and feedback.
Eldara — Patch Notes ⚡ Performance The headline of this patch. A full profiling pass found several systems that were quietly doing work every single frame — the impact was worst on high-refresh-rate monitors (144Hz and up), which is why some players saw lag even with every visual setting turned down. Results: Noticeably smoother fast combat and skilling, and cleaner scrolling. The combat loot box no longer rebuilds itself on every drop. Fixed: background dust particles were still drawing at full cost even when turned OFF or the window was minimized — they now properly stop. Still working out more optimization issues, please be patient (: 🧪 Quality of Life Auto-Dose can now be toggled from the combat screen — click the ON/OFF pill on the Auto-Dose chip. Perfect for saving Cultivating buffs for world bosses and hard dungeons instead of wasting them on easy fights. 🐛 Bug Fixes Shiny gear is now always strictly better — a shiny piece's negative stats (such as a shield's magic-defence penalty) now improve instead of deepening. Collection Log now credits bones burned by the Bone Grinder and offline cremation, which were being skipped. Mastery tooltip — the per-rank kill/run counter no longer disappears after you Prestige; it shows your progress all the way from Mastery X to XX. The green "active style" indicator now follows your combat style when a weapon swap auto-changes it (e.g. equipping a staff mid-fight). Removed stray emojis from the dungeon "Room cleared" log message. During the main quests, some quest NPCs' icons weren't showing, now are. ⚖️ Tuning Void Commission contract now requires Smithing 85 (was 90).
Milestones and Many Hands Late-game progress should actually feel like progress now — plus the offline forge fix a lot of you asked for. Fixes Offline smithing works properly. With Master Stoker, the forge only fed itself while the game was open — away from it, it burned through banked heat and then quietly stopped your smith. It now draws on your whole log stockpile for the entire offline stretch, so an overnight session comes back with thousands of bars instead of a couple dozen. Thanks to everyone who reported it. Selling mass-produced gear works again. "Sell all" used to skip an entire stack if one copy was equipped — 500 forged swords, unsellable. It now keeps the one you're wearing and sells the rest. It also no longer touches your pets. New: Skill Milestones Every 10 levels in a skill now multiplies that skill's speed by ×1.1, compounding — about +61% faster at Lv 50, and more than twice as fast (actions and XP) by Lv 90. It applies to your existing levels the moment you load in. The mid-game wall around Lv 50–60 should feel a lot less like a wall. New: Worker Synergy Many hands make light work — each minion you've unlocked multiplies all yield by ×1.05, compounding. A full royal household more than doubles the loot from every action, yours included.

Additionally, the jump rope system in the action menu now features real-time input feedback similar to the famous "Bongo Cat"! (Your desk cat will now react rhythmically to your inputs. The ultimate desktop stress-reliever just got better!) 🛠️ Fixes & OptimizationsLeaderboard SFX Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue where the sound effects on the Leaderboard screen ignored the volume settings and couldn't be muted. (When you mute the SFX slider now, the leaderboard will actually stay quiet, ensuring your peaceful idle session remains undisturbed). Please restart your Steam client to apply the update, and make sure to claim your exclusive action before it's gone!
🛰️ Update 1.5.0 — "Resonance" Save-safe — no reset. 🔊 New - Sound & Music page in Settings — separate Master, Music, and Sound Effects volume sliders, with the music on/off, track controls, and now-playing info all gathered in one place. - Every Surge bar now has an AUTO+ button that jumps straight to the Store's Auto-Boosters. 🚀 Progression - The Time Anomaly & Echoes now unlock at 10,000,000 total Energy produced — no longer gated behind earlier requirements. If you had plenty of Energy but couldn't unlock them, they'll open right up. - Layer One Mastery now counts your real sustained production (idle and auto-tap), so heavy auto-tap builds unlock it as expected. - Unbroken Power Continuity now tells you it needs Fracture Milestone 7 instead of silently refusing. 🛠️ Fixes - Cross-device saves — signing in on a second device now correctly loads your latest cloud save instead of an older local one. - Event Token Store purchases spend correctly and deliver their reward. (Already live!) - Event goals no longer ask you to buy removed buildings, and now vary more from day to day. - The Bridge goal panel no longer jumps in height when a goal becomes claimable. - Store purchase reliability & account-security improvements. Thanks for playing, Commanders — and for all the reports that made this one possible. o7

v0.2.20 - Binders, Multi Profiles, and QoLs Save Profiles Added save profiles so you can run separate games at once. Your current game becomes the Main Save. Make new vanilla or modded profiles and switch any time to reload into that save. Modded profiles keep their own copy of your mods, so changes on the Main Save never break them. Each profile has its own folder, backups, and exports, all tagged with the profile name so files are easy to tell apart. Profiles are sorted by last played, most recent first. Fixed a tutorial issue on modded profiles. Fixed modded profiles picking up mods you had turned off on the Main Save. Collection Binders Your sets sit on a binder shelf. Click a spine to open the binder and flip or swipe through its pages. Big collections stay smooth since only the open page renders. Modded sets get their own shelves grouped by mod. Sets with a pack use the pack art on the spine and cover, and match the cover color to it. Completing a set shows a master set trophy under its spine. Turn pages with the arrows, space bar, or a swipe, and close with the X or Escape. Closing plays a shut animation. The binder folds to the center and drops away. Custom Binders Build your own binders on a shelf above your sets. Name a binder, pick a color, and upload a cover image, all with a live preview. Set the grid size per page to 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4. Fill pages by clicking an empty pocket and picking a card from a searchable, filterable list. Arrange binders into rows. Drag them between rows and drag whole rows up or down, and it stays saved. Arrange mode lets you add or remove pages, move cards between slots, and swap them. Drag a card over the page arrows to carry it to another page. Cards in a binder do not take up an inventory slot, like showcased cards. The inventory has a binders filter, and each binder card shows which binder it is in. Binders for Modders Customize each set's binder from the Sets tab. Upload an image, reuse the pack art, or use a plain color. S...
# 🛰️ Update 1.4.9 "Clean Slate" is live! Big fixes to the Token Store and Challenge Mode, plus more uncapped upgrades. Save-safe, no reset. **🔧 Fixes** • **Event Token Store purchases work again** — your tokens actually spend and the reward applies. Tokens that had gotten stuck & unspendable have been recovered. 💙 *(This fix is already live — no update needed for it.)* • **Challenge Mode now starts truly clean** — your main game's Exploration, player-level upgrades, Expedition boosts and Echo starting-buildings no longer bleed into a challenge run. • **Ranking** now shows ALL commanders from all time, not just a top slice. **⚖️ Balance** • Token Store: **Time Shard & Memory caches now scale to a fraction of a prestige's worth** (instead of a tiny flat amount), and bundles only grant resources you've unlocked. • **Five more Memory upgrades are now UNLIMITED** — Fragmented Recall, Survival Archive, Command Reflex, Echo Mapping & Neural Anchor. The Core Matrix now unlocks once you OWN every Memory upgrade (no longer need to max them). Update on Steam now — thanks for the reports! 🙏
MEGACITY: Update 2.9.0: Two Ways to Run the CityVersion: 2.9.0Build: 20Released: 2026-07-07Save compatibility: Existing saves load as-is — nothing needs resetting.MEGACITY now has two game modes. Rule in real time, or take it one turn at a time. The city falls apart either way — you just get to choose the tempo.---THE HEADLINE: TWO GAME MODESWhen you found a new city, you now choose how you want to play it:- REAL-TIME — the classic mode. The city lives and breathes on its own clock. Crises land when they land, and the simulation keeps moving whether you are ready or not.- TURN-BASED — the new mode. Nothing moves until you press END TURN. Read every report, weigh every decision, take all the time you want. The city waits for you. It resents it, but it waits.Turn-based mode is built to play fair:- Crises interrupt your turn cleanly. If an emergency erupts mid-turn, the day pauses while you deal with it — and once handled, the rest of the day resumes exactly where it left off instead of starting over.- No first-turn ambushes. A brand-new turn-based city cannot be hit by a crisis on its very first turn. You get a moment to breathe before the sector notices you exist.- Dismissing a crisis buys real breathing room. A dismissed crisis no longer storms right back on the next turn, and dismissed officer alerts stop nagging immediately too. If the underlying problem is still there, it will return — and the game now tells you so when you dismiss a critical warning.ALSO NEW- Pick your standing start style. Settings now lets you choose Guided or Veteran as your default for new cities. And starting one city differently no longer silently overwrites that preference — a one-off pick stays a one-off unless you tick "make this my new default".- More problem cards that name the fix. Defense and infrastructure join the diagnose-and-one-tap-fix card family from 2.8.0.- Light mode, larger text, high contrast. Every screen now follows your chosen theme, and new readability options make th...
