Important! Important! Important! There’s something very important to explain: After you log into the game and open it, you’ll see something like this.These two are both your current save files. To prevent accidental overwriting, we created two backups. The blue one is the auto save, which will save automatically. All the other red save files do NOT auto save!Which means:If you want to preserve a specific moment, you need to press ESC during gameplay to open the pause menu,then manually save,and create a new save file.Important: At any time, loading a red save file WILL overwrite the blue auto save!So if you want to keep the progress in the blue save, you must, must, MUST remember to manually save it as a red save file!!!!!! Hi, thank you all for your supports!And, I should mention it again:If someone may experience an issue where the black background cannot be removed. To resolve this, 1) navigate to the Steam installation directory of the game, locate the DreamGlobe.exe file,2) right-click on it, select Properties → Compatibility → Disable full-screen optimizations. This should allow the game to run properly.

Hey guys!50 000 playersI just wanted to take a minute to thank each and every one of you who've took the time to try out the demo, got the game, played through it, shared it with your friends. It's with deep gratitude that I'm announcing today that we've officially sold 50 000 copies of Horripilant! Never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine to achieve this level of success, on my first commercial title, in a month, no less!Release has been a whirlwind for me, focused on patching things quickly, making a bunch of critical changes, answering all the feedback, answering all the e-mails, doing community management, keeping up with streamers, it's been incredibly exhausting and overwhelming, but also incredibly rewarding to see this game blow up like it did. This unexpected success has given me financial security for the upcoming years and it's going to let me keep on creating for a little while. For that, I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who's given a shot at the game and enjoyed the experience!Next update?I'm still working on a small patch to fix some more bugs, add some QOL and more. Full Czech support is coming soon with the next patch! New Content?While the game is considered feature-complete, we might want to do something fun in the future like a NG+ with some more lore to uncover..? Who knows... Custom Naming, Custom Labels, and Editing Improvements

This update focuses on country custom naming, custom labels, and map-editing workflow improvements. Country custom naming (State Panel -> State Actions): Added a new Custom Naming system for countries. You can now edit the state name and a full-name template separately. Templates support placeholders such as {Name} and {RestorationOrdinal}. Multi-language translations are supported for custom country names. Custom labels (Map Editing): Custom labels are now integrated into the Map Editing panel. Create and manage custom labels directly on the map. Labels now support font selection, font size, bold, italic, text color, outline color, and outline width. Added multilingual text support plus position editing and curve editing for decorative map labels. Date and history tools (Map Editing -> Global Commands): Added Set Date, allowing you to directly set BC/AD year, month, and day. Added Clear History to quickly wipe world history, state/family history, and province ownership history. Editing workflow and fixes: Ctrl + mouse wheel now adjusts the current brush radius while editing. Alt + mouse wheel now adjusts brush height in height-edit mode. Improved province border refresh speed and fixed several stale async border, out-of-range, and index error issues. Merchant ships now use object pooling, reducing repeated instantiate/destroy overhead. Reduced long-distance vector stroke draw calls and fixed AI vassal settings not fully taking effect when disabled. The next major update is planned for late April or early June. Stay tuned!

This creates a challenge when adding new civilizations: very few cultures existed across that entire timeline. As a result, balancing late‑game progression becomes difficult for civilizations that historically didn’t reach the later eras. To address this design challenge, I’m introducing a new system called Civilization Ideas. It’s inspired by a mechanic I’ve been developing for my upcoming game Restitutor (more on that later). {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43106564/8cea96688045f987259382e6c72a2a8184982e74.png Carthage’s unique bonuses now come from its exclusive Civilization Idea Tree, unlocked through its unique wonder, the Cothon of Carthage. Each level of this wonder grants 1 Idea Point, which can be spent to unlock new ideas. These ideas are designed to enhance different aspects of gameplay all the way through the Information Age. This new system allows me to add more ancient civilizations to the game while giving each a distinct identity without creating late‑game balance issues. UPDATE (March 26th, 2026): Valve has agreed to fully refund anyone who bought the game at full price! Please see more details here; this is only available for the next month.Hey everyone,Thank you very much for playing Skeleseller and leaving largely positive reviews! Even the negative reviews mostly said they had fun, so I think the biggest, most easily felt change I can make is to lower the price of the game to better meet player expectations.The original price (in USD) was $9.99, which I've lowered to $7.99 (still with a 10% launch discount). Prices across each region typically fell by the same ~20%, but I got specific feedback about Brazil, India, Poland, and Türkiye, so I dropped those prices by an average of 37.5%.If you have any questions about this or think that your region's pricing is still too high, please contact me on Discord.Thanks again!-AdamP.s. Hi everyone!Timber Rush Update 1.1.0 is live!Highlights:- Added a way to reset your progress, which can be found in the settings page.- Added a dash cooldown icon.- Fixed an issue where dashing in the pause or upgrade screen would use the reset the cooldown timer.- Updated pop up texts and end results damage counters to handle larger numbers.- Fixed a few French translations.- Fixed an issue where in rare occasions the damage counter icons showed a white square.- Reduced the magma sound effect volume slightly.- Fixed an issue where damage stat overflows would re-lock some axes and characters.Resetting ProgressFor players who want to reset progress (for speed running or replay-ability) you can go into the Settings page and at the bottom is a reset button. There is a confirmation dialog. Resetting your progress will clear all save data except for your settings, it also will remove your cloud save file.
