Fixed a visual bug where some icons appeared as squares (□) on Linux / Steam Deck.Instead of just removing the broken emoji, I redrew them all as proper icons — so the upgrade nodes have quite a different look now. Hope you like it!
Since the movement of the human mouse cursor was being mostly ignored, we asked the cats to pay a little more attention to humans. When they feel like it, the cats may react to a nearby mouse cursor, clicks, double-clicks, and triple-clicks. They may not react every time, so if nothing happens, please wait a little while. If the cats are in the mood, they will pay attention to you. We will continue making small improvements based on your requests. New features are also planned, so please wait patiently.

A cleanup update is live today with fixes for combat abilities, skill bonuses, item tooltips, and save data repairs. No new content this time, just fixes and polish. Combat Fixed: Class abilities now appear during normal Melee, Ranged, and Magic fights. Improved: The full ability bar now appears on all three combat pages, matching the ability bar already used in Dungeons. Improved: Cooldown timers and Manual mode controls are now available during normal combat. Skills Fixed: Thieving prestige speed bonuses now appear correctly in the task speed breakdown. Fixed: Prestige speed bonuses for skills without tool requirements are now shown in the tooltip instead of only being applied in the background. Improved: The task speed breakdown now shows Prestige bonuses alongside Meditation and active buff bonuses. Improved: The Meditation buff label has been cleaned up. It now simply reads Meditation. Items & Equipment Fixed: Alteration bonuses now appear correctly when hovering equipped items. Fixed: Enhanced equipped items now show their full stats instead of only showing base stats. Fixed: The Visseron Fortress upgrade now shows the correct Masonry requirement: level 90. Fixed: Cracked Runestone now appears in the Materials tab instead of the Junk tab. Save Data Repairs These fixes apply automatically when you load your save. No action is needed. Fixed: Inscribed gems stored in the Warehouse before rebirth are now restored correctly if they became stuck after rebirth. Fixed: Affected warehouse gems can now be enchanted, altered, sold, or used normally again. Improved: Going forward, warehouse-protected items will keep their inscriptions and alterations across rebirths. Fixed: Missing quests after rebirth are now repaired automatically. Fixed: If you rebirthed before finishing the main quest and ended up with no active quests after choosing a class, your quest progress will now resume when loading your save. 🛠️ Day 1 Hotfix Is Live — 11 FixesHello, this is the developer.The Day 1 hotfix is now live. If you have Re:Blade installed, the update downloads automatically — just restart the game.I originally listed three fixes for this hotfix. Once I started digging into the launch-day feedback, I found and fixed quite a few more — including two crash-level issues. Here's everything that went in.━━━━━━━━━━🔴 Crash fixes (highest priority)- Lightning sword crash — selecting the "Chain Lightning" Awakening could force-close the game to the main menu. This is fixed.- Ice build freezing — frost particle effects could cause severe frame drops, even on high-end GPUs. Particle load is now capped and optimized.━━━━━━━━━━✅ Bug fixes- Starting Awakening Level not applying — new weapons now correctly apply their Starting Awakening Level.- Hidden Awakening fusions not re-triggering — fusions should trigger every battle but were only firing once. They now reset properly each battle.- Skill tooltip text — merged skill descriptions were showing internal code instead of clean text. Now displays correctly.- Off-screen monster crates — crates could spawn outside the map. Their spawn area is now kept inside the battle zone.- "Aftershock of Lightning" crit buff — the buff was using a wrong fixed value instead of its proper scaling. Now applies the correct amount.━━━━━━━━━━⚖️ Balance & progression- Relic drop rate — base drop rate increased and rebalanced, so relics show up at a fair pace early on without relying on the drop-rate upgrade node.- Enlightenment — early-tier penalties were far too harsh, making investing in Enlightenment feel like a downgrade. Tier 1–2 penalties have been cut significantly. (Higher tiers keep their trade-off by design.)━━━━━━━━━━🔧 Partially addressed — more coming next patch- Free last skill node — a value-overflow case has been blocked and several upgrade costs corrected. Dear inhabitants of the caves, here's Anselm, creator of The Longing. As some of you might already know, The Longing took me over 4 years to make. After it was finished, I was sure that the next project would turn out much smoother... in a way I was right, but also very wrong. Long story short, Lucky Tower Ultimate has just been released, after spending over 5 years in production, from which 1.5 years were spent in Early Access. It's quite different from "The Longing" and doesn't share many similarities at first sight, except the art style and parts of the setting. That is by choice, since A) I wanted to do something entirely different after this long time and B) it was made by a "real" team and not primarily just myself. It's a roguelite/adventure that comes from a place of fascination for medieval-themed dungeon-crawlers, "Ghouls ’n Ghosts", "Kid Paddle" comics, and Tomi Ungerer books.Of course, I couldn't resist and put a cave into the game too; it even comes with a fitting soundtrack by Lord Redstone (composer for The Longing). But I plan to start working on a new idle-adventure game. Bug Fixes Fixed Golden Bloobberries not being assigned to drop from the villager and bloobberry bush. Removed the scroll from magic teleports/ auto. Fixed Smithing level up staying on screen. Fixed Infusion potion not working for Imbued Radiance Slate. Fixed event boss chatter text appearing below world objects. Made item vacuum pickup faster from a distance. Fixed Dunescale range armour using the incorrect stats. Corrected Dexterity Potion tooltips to all say Run Speed not move speed. Corrected Prestige Information to correctly say Instant not double chance for all gathering skills and thieving. I AM APPLE, Apples will now have a hp value, please bank any apples with no hp value get a new apple with a hp value and it will correct itself ( sorry about this seems I AM APPLE keeps trolling).
