Patch #12 (Hot-Fix #20)

Eldara Update — Pyre Salts Stack, Sell X & a Big Polish Pass ✨ New Features Pyre Salts now stack. Use the same salt again and its duration adds on top of the time remaining — Ash 30m → 60m → 90m, and so on. The active-aura timer climbs to match. Salts no longer waste while you're offline. Your aura pauses while the game is closed and resumes with the exact time left when you return — and the Offline Gains screen now shows it ("aura paused while away — Xm still remaining"). Market "Sell X". Right-click an item in the Market and choose Sell X… to open a custom-amount picker: plus/minus steppers, a slider, quick presets (1 / 10 / 100 / 1,000 / Half / All), and a live "you'll receive" total that exactly matches the final payout. ⚔️ World Boss Your attack-style buttons (Melee / Range / Magic / Defence), plus the Pyre and Spellbook pickers and the loot box, now appear during World Boss fights — you're no longer locked into one style mid-fight. 🩹 Fixes & Polish Auto-Eat now heals immediately and fully the instant you reach your set HP threshold — no delayed bites, no dying with food still in the slot. Cremating now shows its green "in-use" indicator while burying. The Max Hit tooltip no longer gets cut off at the top of the combat panel. Gold totals display cleanly, and very small values / drop chances no longer show as "0". World Boss Diamond Arrow now drops in correct stack sizes. Shiny Ignarath / void gear now shows the correct rarity. Shiny smithed and crafted gear now shares its set bonus, and the in-game wiki reflects it. Achievement reward gear is no longer scaled/downgraded incorrectly. The "all skills to 100" achievement now counts all 17 skills. Offline boss kills now count toward stats and achievements; offline thieving applies all of your perks. Steam achievements you'd already earned now unlock retroactively.

Hotfix v1.0.0.0.30: MAX Wealth Calibration & The Cardio Counter!

Hi shop managers! Hotfix v1.0.0.0.30 is now live, bringing a few precise calibrations and a fun new feature to your desktop: 🛠️ Fixes & Adjustments Absolute "MAX" Value Calibration: Further fixed calculation and UI display bugs that occurred when historical records or total assets hit the absolute "MAX" limit. (We installed an anti-gravity abacus in the cosmic cash register. It will no longer panic and spit out gibberish when faced with literal infinite wealth). In-game Rarity Color Adjustments: Recalibrated the rarity color borders and visual glows for items in the in-game inventory, ensuring they perfectly match their true drop tiers. (The logistics cat in charge of RGB lighting was apparently a bit colorblind. After some quick vision correction, your Epic and Mythic drops will now shine in their true, accurate colors). 🚀 New Features Jump Rope Action (Counter Edition): Added a live combo counter to the Calico Cat's exclusive Jump Rope action! (The Calico cat is now officially tracking its cardio! You can now clearly see exactly how many deadly laser jumps this little fella manages to pull off during your QTE sessions). Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. Happy brewing!

Desk Space is out now!

Desk Space was supposed to be a small side game before I found a main project but the Next Fest love blew me away. I’ve spent the last two weeks fixing bugs, adding endgame content, rebalancing upgrades and polishing the game. Buy ships to trade and mine oreUnlock and buy upgrades for new gameplay and abilitiesSlowly take over space with your flightpathsMake a lot of moneyEnter \If you are enjoying your time in space, please consider leaving a quick review. It is the absolute best way to support a solo project and helps the Steam algorithm show the game to more people. As always I’m looking forward to your feedback, thoughts and stories. Especially as you hit prestige levels and explore the new content. You can tell me what you think on X, the Steam forums or join the Discord. A note for demo players: A lot of things changed and was added after Next Fest, sadly that means your saves wont carry over. If the demo is kept up in the future I might update it but for now you have to restart. But you will catch up quick and get to experience the new balance and new things.

Major Update: The Long Awakening Expands

Commanders,The Ark is no longer just wreckage to be salvaged. This major update expands Legacy of the Ark: The Long Awakening into a much deeper long-term progression experience, adding new layers of prestige, permanent upgrades, Exploration systems, Archive research, quality-of-life improvements, achievements, daily rewards, and new ways to push your crew farther into the broken heart of the Ark.This update is focused on one major goal: making every return, reset, and recovery feel more meaningful. The Long Awakening BeginsThe Time Anomaly was only the beginning. With this update, progression moves beyond the first prestige layer and into The Long Awakening, where the damaged Ark AI begins carrying knowledge forward through fractured timelines.Players will now push beyond Time Shards and Echo upgrades into Memory Cores, a new permanent progression resource earned through Awakening. These Memory Cores unlock deeper upgrades, preserve critical systems, and begin transforming each reset from a full collapse into a stronger return.Awakening is designed to feel like a major turning point in the game’s progression. The crew is no longer simply repeating the same struggle. The Ark remembers. The AI remembers. And eventually, so will the world around you.Expanded Prestige ProgressionThis update strengthens the game’s layered prestige structure:Time Anomaly remains the first major reset layer.Time Shards continue powering Echo upgrades.Echo upgrades improve future runs and help stabilize early progression. The Long Awakening introduces Memory Cores and permanent AI-driven upgrades.Memory upgrades allow deeper persistence across resets.Layer One Mastery opens the path toward the next stage of the Ark’s recovery. The result is a smoother, more rewarding climb from manual survival, to automated recovery, to long-term timeline mastery.Exploration CrewsOnce deeper progression is reached, the update introduces the foundation for Exploration.Exploration expands the Ark beyond the main...

Post launch update (small).

Update 2.5.0 — Controller Support, a Living Soundscape & World Map Zoom\Commanders,This is a big step on the road to Steam. MEGACITY now plays end to end on a controller, your city has a voice, and the world map finally zooms. Here's everything that's new.Full controller, keyboard & Steam Deck support.Play from start to finish without a mouse. On-screen focus highlighting moves you between buttons, menus and the district grid, and a built-in controls panel lists every binding. The Steam Deck's controls work right out of the box.A city that sounds alive.A new mood-reactive soundscape shifts with the state of your city — calmer tones when things are stable, tenser layers as unrest, crime and disorder climb. It's on by default and respects your mute, volume and reduced-motion settings, so you can dial it back or switch it off any time.World map zoom.Pinch to zoom the world map and read crowded sectors with ease. Markers and their labels stay crisp and legible as you zoom in instead of overlapping, and the filter and legend bars now sit tight under the header for more map space.Steam Cloud save protection.Play on more than one machine? If the same save gets changed in two places, the game now detects the conflict and protects your progress instead of silently overwriting it.Smoother and faster. Two rounds of performance work plus an engine cleanup mean quicker startup and steadier late-game ticks.Your existing saves load as-is — nothing needs resetting.Thank you for sticking with MEGACITY while I keep building toward launch. This is my first game, and your feedback shapes what comes next. More soon.— Green Kamino *Megacity)

Click once to sort by highest market trend first (green), again for lowest (red), again to turn it off. Works with mod and event trends. Hotfix v1.0.0.0.26: Z-Index Containment & The Manual Strike Fix

Hi shop managers, quick maintenance Hotfix v1.0.0.0.26 is now live to address the following issues: 🛠️ Patch Notes Skin Fallback Failsafe: Added underlying failsafe rendering logic for cat skins to ensure character sprites load reliably under complex cache conditions. (The cats' final dimensional loophole for turning invisible has been sealed; emergency work uniforms are now hardcoded). UI Layer Clipping Fix: Fixed a chaotic issue where massive "4D Pocket Cashout" text spam would clip through and completely cover the District Map screen. (4th-dimensional financial alerts have agreed to respect standard 3D Z-index laws and will no longer flood your tactical map). Zero Income on Auto-Off Fix: Fixed a critical bug where toggling off "Auto-Make" accidentally froze the shop's revenue cycle, resulting in zero profit generation. (Fixed an issue where turning off the automated boba machines caused the rest of the staff to immediately go on strike. Manual shaking works properly again). Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. Happy weekend brewing!

Hardcore restored

Eldara — Restoration Hardcore permadeath is back — now fair Your character only resets if you're out of food in a fight & die (make sure to keep auto-eat enabled or spam food!!. That's the whole rule. Keep Auto-Eat enabled and stocked and you're safe — a last-ditch auto-eat now feeds from your inventory AND backpack before any death is counted, so a wipe only happens when you genuinely ran out of supplies. A story chapter that auto-pops mid-fight pauses combat — you can't be killed while reading it. Offline deaths run an accurate survival simulation: auto-eat pulls food from your bag, heals for the true amount, and your damage reduction (defence levels, set bonuses, pet) is applied — so you only fall while away if you truly starved. THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES FOR HC PLAYERS AND WE TRULY APOLOGIZE FOR THAT, PLEASE REMAIN USING THE BUG REPORTS SECTION IF PROBLEMS PERSIST! We originally thought to turn the feature of until it was COMPLETELY gone but we realized you guys took an issue with that immediately so it'll be done within the fly!

Quick update to hardcore + fixes

Eldara — Update Hardcore is no longer permadeath Dying in Hardcore no longer resets your character. You now recover the same way Normal mode does — online and offline. // This one might be a little controversial, especially if you wanted a risk-factor, however a lot of users were getting reset randomly without dying ( a lot of dead code) so we've decided to turn it off completely. the only thing that should happen when you die is you stop idling, thats the punishment, stay alive to keep idling! Hardcore keeps its challenge: −50% XP, −50% Gold, and the Ironman-only market. The mode choice is still permanent for that character — only the death-wipe is gone. Thieving perks now work while you're away Offline progression now mirrors the live game for thieving: Sticky Fingers bonus gold now triggers on offline steals. Pinchpaws pet gold and the Pickpocket's Charm / Lv95 Phantom Haul double-loot apply offline too. Stolen loot fills your assigned backpacks first, exactly like live. Display fixes Low-value items no longer display "Value 0" (for example, Copper Coin). Drop chances under 1% now show their true value (0.2%, 0.05%, and so on) instead of "0%". Thank you for the continued reports — keep them coming.

Hotfix v1.0.0.0.24: 12 New Achievements & Time Field Exploit Fix

Hi managers! Our weekend maintenance continues. Hotfix v1.0.0.0.24 is now live with a fresh batch of goals to chase and some hilarious space-time physics fixes: 🏆 New Milestones 12 New Achievements Added: We’ve implemented a dozen brand-new achievements into the game! (Time to prove your boba mastery and show off those shiny new badges on your Steam profile). ⏳ Bug Fixes & Adjustments Time Field MAX Money Exploit: Fixed a bug where using the "Common Time Field" consumable would instantly grant MAX funds. (The Time Variance Authority has stepped in again. Yesterday this item drained your bank; today it made you the richest entity in the universe. The timeline has been stabilized and math works normally again). Fever Mode Combo UI Fix: Fixed a bug where combo numbers during Fever Mode would float and clip over the Branch Map screen. (Your intense boba-shaking combos will no longer shatter the spacetime continuum to appear across the country on your branch map). "Always on Top" Memory Fix: Fully resolved the save/load issue with the Always on Top window setting. (The game finally took its memory pills and will actually remember your window preferences between sessions). Please restart your Steam client to apply the update. Happy weekend achievement hunting!

Hot-Fix #19

Eldara — Fixes & Quality of Life Combat & World Bosses Hardcore safety: story chapters now pause combat when they appear mid-fight, so you can't take damage — or lose a hardcore character — while a story screen is covering the action. World bosses spawn reliably again: fixed a state where the natural (~hourly) spawns could stop firing entirely. The spawner now self-heals, so a stuck boss can no longer block future spawns. Loot & Storage Mastery Channeling respects your backpacks: at Level 100, gathered logs/fish/ore now route to your assigned bag first, and only auto-bank if no bag is assigned. Offline monster loot now follows the same path as live kills — into your backpacks, then overflowing to the bank when full (no more clogged slots). Achievement reward gear now routes into your backpack like every other item. Items no longer skip the first inventory slot when your gold has been moved elsewhere. Collection Shiny gear now unlocks its collection entry — finding a shiny counts toward the base item, and entries retroactively unlock for shinies you already own. Economy Wanderer's Luck & Gold Magnet now boost contract gold as well — previously they only applied to monster kills. Performance & UI Fixed the 0.0s-timer lag: at extreme speed buffs the screen flooded with floating numbers. Those are now capped — your gather/craft speed is unchanged, only the unreadable number-spam is trimmed. Live material counts: the input counts on processing cards (Firemaking, Smithing, Cooking, and more) now tick down in real time instead of only updating when you leave and re-open the tab.
