Greetings Talented Gamers!Work on the 1.5 update is under way and we're building on top of the work we did with Common Talents in 1.4 to ensure they're relevant no matter how many you pick up. There's 7 different Commons that are directly affected so there's plenty to talk about!Range Up > Piercing UpWhen you have reached maximum Range, all Range Up Talents will now give Pierce Chance. Every 100% Pierce Chance you have will be a guarenteed enemy pierce, meaning you can stack this up far beyond 100%.Our Range Up Talents were some of the earliest to lose relevance in late game Talented runs. That makes this one of the most powerful changes to dead talents thus far. As with Multifire, we're reworked the related Talents to also give the piercing stat to keep the system consistent.Knockback ReworkKnockback is a little simpler. Instead of only effecting your Basic Attacks, the new Knockback Power stat adds a percentage modifier to all of your knockback - whether that's Basic Attacks, Abilities or even Parry and Orbitals. Along with this change comes some improvements to knockback in the late game. Whereas enemies could have previously obtained 100% knockback reduction, making all knockback increases useless, they can now only gain 95% reduction. This means if you're able to truly max out your knockback rating you will still be able to hold back the hordes.Parry ReworkParry is also getting a glow up. In the past you could only have up to an 80% chance to Parry without the Guardian Unleashed Ability, and even more annoyingly Spectral Elites and enemies with 100% Knockback Reduction would ignore Parry Completely.That is a thing of the past! Now you can gain huge amounts of Parry with each 100% giving you an additional guarenteed Parry against the same enemy. Hey everyone! We've been following along your discussions and feedback from the past month, and have just released a new version (v2026.06.12.1) with our Service Pack 2 update. This features both new gameplay features as well as some tweaks of existing ones based on your feedback. Chat ModerationWhilst you liked the IRC, it sometimes felt like a missed opportunity. We've now added the ability to find scammers, spammers and cheaters, and ban them should the need arise. Correctly banning will have a positive impact on your game's overall hype. This mechanic only unlocks after you've gained a large enough following, although you can still find more player details earlier in the game. Ending Rework A major piece of feedback we got was annoyance about the need to do 2 separate playthroughs to 100% the game's achievements. We've now updated the ending triggers, where you can achieve both states by simply continuing to play in your existing save.In previous versions, you got contacted by GlobalConnect at 150,000 players and 3,500,000 lifetime revenue. Now, regardless of your initial choice, you will have a 2nd run-in with GlobalConnect at a higher milestone (not spoiling the exact value, but it shouldn't take too much time). This will allow you to reach both ending achievements. If you already have a save where you reached the ending, you can simply continue playing on this to get the alternate ending option, this old save transfers without issue to Service Pack 2. SolitaireWe understand Bombduster may not be for everyone, so we've diversified a bit by also adding Solitaire. Version 1.4 is now LIVEHey y'all! Been a bit since the last update so I thought I'd let you guys in on what we've been working on. I've been pushing back this update for a bit now since it's pretty small all things considered, and I really wanted to include the new Godot 4.7 feature where I could ignore controller inputs when tabbed out. And while 4.7 is getting here soon, we've also got interesting Steam Sale events coming up and so I wanted to patch some stuff for newcomers to get the best experience coming the game. Worry not though, controller inputs being ignored is coming as soon as Godot 4.7 releases.We're working on something VERY neat for the community, update 1.5 which will have some very very cool things! v1.1.11 Update Notes To provide a more stable game experience, we have made a temporary adjustment to the speed options: the original 4x speed will be temporarily removed, leaving 1x and 2x available. After time acceleration is unlocked, 4x speed can be accelerated to 8x during work periods, which may consume too much performance on some computers and can more easily trigger serious issues such as animation errors, freezes, or even save loss. We have decided to temporarily disable it while we optimize and fix these problems. This adjustment will help ensure smoother and more stable gameplay during acceleration while still retaining the convenience of faster play. Thank you for your understanding and support! Optimized the base stat differences between Master and PhD students during recruitment. Fixed an issue with incorrect subsidy buff effects. Raid achievements weren't tracking combat raids at all — they do now, and any you'd already earned will unlock the moment you load your save.Mana no longer starves your casters — you start every raid with full mana, and mana steadily regenerates during the fight for all classes.Warrior in-combat HP regen is now meaningful instead of a rounding error.Endless Depth in Elite now progresses on its own ladder — clearing elite depths unlocks the next rung properly.Victory loot list scrolls, so a big haul can never push the Continue button off-screen. ⚔️ Combat & RaidsYour last Trials loadout is remembered per raid — mods and depth are pre-filled, so you can re-run instantly.Elite is now available on random-encounter raids (Dungeon Depths and friends), with tougher foes and better loot. 🎒 Quality of lifePotion clutter, sorted — selecting a potion now shows a Delete (this stack) and a Delete All (every potion) button. If you choose to upload your own paper, other players may also publish it in their games. Added the Research Achievement Exhibition Room, where completed research projects can be stored. Signal Towers and Graduation Gates are excluded. Reduced the waiting time for graduation ceremonies. Work time will now proceed immediately. Fixed an issue where characters could walk sideways. Optimized the achievement condition for “Pull!”. It is now unlocked when a graduate's evaluation of you is below 3.
