In the first of (hopefully many) updates, I’m happy to announce that significant progress has been made on the Pets system! This new feature unlocks automatically once you reach the Metropolis stage and remains available after you acquire your first pet. This patch will also include several quality-of-life updates, GUI improvements, and bug fixes (which will be outlined in official patch notes).Pet SystemThe pet system is divided into two components: Collection and Follower.Collection is a passive bonus based on the number of pets you have earned and their respective effects. This bonus is always active and will continue to grow as you collect more pets. Pets can be discovered when prestiging, based on your "pet discovery" chance. Invest gold and food to increase your chances of finding a new companion!Follower pets are your currently selected companion and provide specific bonuses depending on the pet. Higher rarity pets offer stronger bonuses. Only one pet can be active at a time, meaning only one bonus is applied. You can swap pets at any time to change your active bonus.* Mythic pets (e.g. premium) are purely cosmetic; however, they allow you to select any available pet bonus.* UI subject to change.
Hello,Last time I talked about individual features of Adventure mode. This time I'd like to give you a kind of a big picture how this mode will be played. Please note that this is still early stage so some key mechanisms may still change significantly.Adventure mode flowYour typical adventure game will begin in a so called Homeworld. This is your stable world where you can do whatever you want. There's no research here, no ascending, no score. This world just exists and you can experiment here.You also get regular opportunities to enter different world.1. Chaos World SpawnEvery now and then a new world will appear at your doorstep. You will see some very limited info about this world (size and type) but most will be concealed. If you want to, you can enter this world. Or you don't have to and can chill in Homeworld a bit more. Entirely up to you.2. Entering Chaos WorldIf you choose to enter the Chaos world, you will leave whatever Population and buildings you had in your homeworld. At that point you will be 'moved' to a new world with its own randomly rolled map, rules and ascension upgrades.Example of an early chaos world. It consists of just two scenarios reaching Classical era and various optional upgrades on the sides. Note that most upgrades can be purchased repeatedly. 3. ScenariosYour task is to 'tame' the world by completing its scenarios. There is no generic 'Start new civilization button', you can only play Scenarios one by one.Each scenario is semi-randomly generated - it has a Primary objective and a set of Secondary objectives. These objectives are your source of Gold Lotus score here as opposed to Campaign, where score is mainly granted by reaching civilization milestones like population or crises defeated. In addition to this score, each World will also have a special resource similar to Coal&Oil which will act as multiplier to the end lotus score.4. Returning HomeAfter completing all Scenarios, you will unlock the ability to leave the world forever. ...

Compared with Demo V1, the amount of content and the overall playtime have grown to roughly twice as much. I hope both new players and longtime supporters will enjoy a fuller and more satisfying demo experience.If you previously installed Demo V1, we strongly recommend uninstalling it before installing Demo V2 again. This will help avoid issues on Steam such as “missing executable file” or abnormal save/progress data.In addition, development of the full version of Tail of Glory has now entered its final stage. This update fixes several slightly annoying issues: Fixed several localisation and spelling errors. Gamepad shoulder buttons now zoom smoothly. Zooming with the Z and X keys is now much more sensitive. Fixed issues with the cursor drifting around the screen while zooming.

Also I had to make sure there was 67 achievements... :] 18 new meta unlocks... - Brainal Xenoforms: Adds a new rare Xenoform called the Brainal who psychically shields nearby Xenos from harm. - Beacon Room: Adds a new Hackable room which when hacked makes all current Convicts a Priority Convict and all Xenos a Bounty Xenos. - Convict Compensation: Points from escaping Convicts are doubled until a certain amount of Convicts have been Abducted. - Golden Ticket: Can be used to fully Level Up a chosen unlocked Action or Gadget. - Extra Extra Left Action: You can now assign a third Action to the Left Button. - Gadget Pocketeer: Adds another Gadget slot. - Pong Bansheeed: Your sector Pong Balls can now even bust Banshees. - Pong Manoeuvrer: You can steer your sector Pong Balls. That means a change of between -20% and +20% depending on the currency. There are only 2 currency I'm manually overriding: - Euro (it stays at 4.99€, a few dozen cents under Valve recommended price) - Polish Zloty (it stays at 17.99, a few units under Valve recommended price) Otherwise, any other currency follow new Steam recommended prices for a $4.99 game.
