Battle Changes Battles are now turn-based instead of being a button-mash simulator. You can now fight multiple monsters back to back with each giving different rewards (money, minerals, chests). Equips work more like Super Miners and are granted from Battle Chests which you can find in the world, in battles, or by purchasing in the shop. You can now have multiple of the same equip and can scrap them to get Weapon scrap which you can use to upgrade your slots or the equips themselves. There are also two new battle consumables: one that heals you by 20% during a fight, and one that lets you draw cards from your discard. Several battle relics have been adjusted to work with the new system. Gem Forge changes You can now dedicate workload to gems and they will automatically craft. The higher the workload the less time it takes for them to craft. Gems are now used for upgrades instead of equips. Gem Upgrades increase your health, max energy, energy regen, max cards in hand, and card draw per turn for battles. Extended Titan Titan has now been extended to its final depth of 750km and now has a trading post. There have also been significant balance adjustments to the price scaling and strength of the existing drills. You may find that you are able to skip a few tiers if you have been saving for a long time. Scientists changes The scientists now have a new scrollable UI. You can now view all your active scientists in a single window organized by progress, with completed excavations at the top, followed by inactive scientists and ongoing excavations. There is also a new relic scrap system, which can be used to trade for additional relics. Relics can be scrapped from the inventory window, or when discarding them at the end of an excavation. In addition to those changes, resurrecting scientists will now also grant you the excavation reward! Other Changes The illuminating crown now shows the description for excavations as well. Hello everyone! Today we have a HUGE update to Gelli Fields for you all! I have been working on this update for months now and finally finished it. This is meant to be a better representation of what Gelli Fields will be like in the full game. I also want to share that Gelli Fields now has a Kickstarter! New activity: Fishing! You can fish in each biome and the train station as well! Each biome has rare fishing loot, so have fun finding all the different items! Star rank changes Star rank is now more useful! There's a bunch of new amenities in the train station and even ones that relate to specific biomes. -Lunapon machine amenity: Increases starting lunapons and how many you get per level up. -Corruption ATK+: Increases damage done to corruption There will be a ton more amenities in the full game this is just a preview of what you can expect. Biome completion rewards Now when you complete a biome your glim is converted into star rank. This means it's best to save a ton of glim right before you beat the corruption to get the max amount of star rank! Critter changes There is now not a critter sell box, instead you drop all items into the normal sell box. Rocky Retreat changes Rocky Retreat has been changed a ton. Please excuse the cover images - the 0.11 Milestone Program is still a thing, nothing's changing with that, though I might be looking to add another member or two. Stay tuned. So, it's been a hot minute since some news has come out on Idle Space Navy 0.11. A lot of that is that I've had to take a lot of time for my mental health, as well as some other stuff going on. For that, I sincerely apologize. I'm still working through a lot of my mental/emotional health (having company at work again is helping a lot with this), but I'm starting to feel that creative spark for Idle Space Navy returning. I can't honestly say when I'll have a release date for 0.11 (I'm hoping before the new year, but this is not a guarantee), but I hope to be back at work on it before the end of this month. Thank you all for bearing with me, and I'm so sorry it's taken so long for me to get moving forward again.

The Offline Client is now available for public Beta testing. This brings full offline functionality to Melvor Idle, allowing you to play the game without an internet connection. It is available to test on Windows, MacOS and Linux (including Steam Deck). How to access You can access the Beta test on Steam by using the Beta code offlineStage2. Your saves are shared between the Live game and the Offline client. There are no actual changes to the game itself as it runs the existing Live version, just with offline functionality. Important information about the Offline Client There's a few important considerations to take note of. 1) You must first load the game once with an internet connection (Up to the character select screen). This will automatically download and save the remaining requires files needed to function that were not bundled with Steam itself. This occurs silently in the background. 2) You cannot access your Cloud Saves or cross-platform purchases when in Offline mode. If there is no internet connection available, the game will enter Offline mode. While in Offline mode, Cloud saves are not available and cross-platform purchases cannot be verified. It will default to purchase verification for the platform you are playing on. This is due to these features requiring internet access to a 3rd party service. The game will make it extremely clear when it is in Offline Mode. 3) The game will check for updates on load and automatically apply them without needing a client restart. Everything is handled silently in the background. If you wish to not have the game update, you can disable its internet access via your respective OS settings or Firewall. If there is no game update, it will use the local offline files to function with access to Cloud Saves and cross-platform purchases enabled.
