What's New in 1.4

Dear miners, Update 1.4 is finally here, and it's a big one. We've spent the past weeks hammering on this update, and we are genuinely thrilled to put it in your hands. We heard you loud and clear: prestige didn't feel rewarding enough. Starting with your very first prestige, you now unlock a stack of brand-new features: rocket launches, asteroid mining, new resources, new crafts, a new furnace, a tech research system, and a full automation system. There is a lot of new ground to dig through. Background mines also got a deep performance overhaul. Every shaft now ticks on the same C++ simulation as your active mine, so the game stays smooth even with a roster of asteroid mines running in parallel. This patch touches a lot of systems, so it is very possible that a few bugs slipped through our testing. If you hit anything weird, please send a report straight from the in-game feedback form, or post on the Steam community forum. We read every single one and fixes go out fast. Thanks for digging with us. Now go build a rocket. LAUNCH PAD + ORBIT MAP Build a rocket out of three MK-tiered parts (Engine, Fuel Tank, Payload Bay), top off propellant, load cargo and send it to space. New orbit map view: probes scan one band at a time to reveal asteroid + comet locations. Drill missions land on revealed targets and become full mines with their own terrain (asteroid stone, iridium ore, cobalt ore, hydrogen ice). New endgame furnace: the Nanofabricator. Crafts logic_circuit (the automation currency) and astrium (the rocket-MK alloy). RESEARCH LAB Two-tab research panel: Aerospace and Industrial & Auto. Small patch for HUD GUI new enemies and small bug fix

-Swapping position for the in-battle menu to show on top of the chat window. -Text formatting inside chat window especially for names that been longer than 12 characters. - 10 new enemies that you'll face starting with map level 50 and beyond. - Inside the click/idle system you couldn't spent skill points right away when leveling , that was a bug , hopefully now it is fixed. Patch v1.1.1

Note: Content fixes related to the Pets patch, along with bug fixes and performance improvements. Features Pet Chance Fallback Pets were already hard to get, but it became unintentionally harder when you “over-roll” for a pet. Instead of punishing you for a good roll, the new system checks if you have any available pets at the tier you rolled. If none are available, it checks the previous tier for unowned pets. This allows you to invest more without losing access to lower-tier pets in the process. Bulk Purchase Holding Shift allows you to purchase 5 upgrades at once, and Ctrl allows you to purchase 10. Pressing both will purchase the maximum number allowed. This is a nice usability improvement for repeated playthroughs. Balance Moved Sabertooth Pet to the Legendary tier. Decreased the bonus for Legendary pet collection by half. Increased collection bonuses for Common (5%, 0%, 0%), Uncommon (10%, 5%, 5%), and Rare (25%, 10%, 10%) . Friction now makes it easier to accelerate the wheel. Weight now makes it easier to maintain manual spin at higher speeds. Modifier changed from 0.01 to 0.05. UI Ingenuity button now uses normal-sized text instead of large. Increased title text size in the main menu. Added Statistics page to menu. This is an early version, expect more soon! Bug Fixes Premium pets (Mythic) are no longer rolled by default. Removed collection bonus for Mythic pets. Fixed special characters on the credits page. Ingenuity costs are no longer capped at 2.16 billion. Fixed Bonus Rate and other display bars to use proper number formatting. Removed accidental quadratic scaling from autospin (sorry).

I want to extend a huge thanks to everyone for their feedback and support through all of the playtesting phases. I'm so I'm excited for the release of Galactic Overthrow to finally be here and to share it with you. What started as a rough idea for a simplified 4x-lite, to evolving into what plays a bit like a real-time board game, I love where this game has ended up.The 1.0 release represents the conclusion of the original scoped game and design, a 4x like experience that delivers the feel of grand strategy games but tailored to a shorter and 'lower stakes' campaign and setting. This however does not mean it's the end of development on the game, but a little more on that later.I'm looking forward to getting this game in the hands of more players, hearing all about your experiences along with your thoughts and feedback. We wanted to release the game as soon as possible, but hit a roadblock after deciding to upgrade the game to Full HD resolution so it could match Graces in quality. We may have slightly overestimated our capabilities, given the scale of the visual novel (50h), but we’re doing our best and steadily moving toward release.
