Ultimate Blacksmith Tycoon Update (EA r77-78) Patch Notes

Added job Levels and a Job Tree. Your current job now levels up through dispatches (up to Lv10), and higher levels gradually strengthen that job's effects. Advanced jobs now also require "reaching Lv X in a prerequisite job first" — almost every job beyond the 7 starting jobs has prerequisites, so you grow and evolve your adventurers' careers over time. (Existing adventurers keep their current job, but switching to a new advanced job now requires leveling its prerequisite jobs.)Added 8 new jobs. Focused on the under-served magic archetypes (Rune Knight, Hexweaver, Spellsniper, Chronomage, Wardmaster, Spiritcaller, Spellbreaker) and defense (Phantom Guard), opening up builds that were hard to make before.Job passive effects are now shown. The hidden passives some jobs carry (e.g. ATK ×1.30, Crit +5%) now appear in the encyclopedia and adventurer detail, making the difference between jobs clear.Starting jobs now accept more weapons. Weapons that previously had no early job (two-handed spear, scythe, etc.) are covered — each starting job now accepts several weapon types (any one), so every weapon has a place.Minor visual tweaks (job effect text color, etc.).Note: job level-up pacing, prerequisite levels, and the numbers on new jobs / weapon groups are still being tuned — we'll keep adjusting based on how it feels.Thanks as always for playing Ultimate Blacksmith Tycoon — please keep the reports and requests coming!

Patch #10 (Hot-Fix #15)

Gear Ladder Fixes, Stacking Backpacks & QoL This update corrects how armour-set bonuses stack, makes backpack perks add up, and smooths out crafting, selling, and the Cremation panel. ⚖️ Balance & Gear Set bonuses now apply only your highest equipped tier — each tier's listed number is the full bonus. Previously the tiers secretly stacked and multiplied, which let lower-tier sets out-scale Apex and even Mythic gear. Note: if you were benefiting from the stacked bonus, your damage drops to the listed value. Craftable void sets pulled just below the Apex World Boss sets, so boss drops remain best-in-slot. Your active set damage bonus now displays on Max Hit, so the % is visible. ✨ Quality of Life Backpack perks now stack across every pack you own — the full set grants +12h offline cap, +20% gold, and +10% skilling XP (previously only the highest-tier pack's perk applied). Crafting & smithing auto-craft finishes the whole stack instead of leaving the final item to be made manually. Auto-Dose only triggers while you're in combat, so it no longer wastes potions while idle or skilling. 🔧 Bug Fixes Hover and inspect sell prices now show the true net you receive after the merchant tax (they previously showed the pre-tax price). The tax now applies consistently to all items, including cheap stacks. The Blacksmith refine screen was over-reporting weapon attack — it now matches the gear tab. Update 6.4

A batch of quality-of-life fixes from your feedback — bundled into one update. Hiscores The Hiscores screen now shows your global rank on every board, not just one. Ranks are also remembered between menu opens, so they appear instantly instead of reloading each time. Quality of life Endgame is clearer — once all your skills hit level 99, the refound prompt reliably reappears (even if you dismissed it earlier), so it's obvious where the prestige loop continues. Activity log remembers its state — collapsed or expanded, and its height, now stay how you left them between runs. Fixes Fixed the "What's New" window popping up on every launch. Quick patch to address some low-frequency bugs that may affect gameplay. - Fixed: Unstable warhead can cause game board to be unresponsive if utilized in a fully conquered galaxy - Fixed: Choosing a game mode could potentially result in an undefined state, causing the game to run at a difficulty and game speed that's not expected - Fixed: UI issue with windows sometimes not hiding correctly (very rare). Auto-sell, redesigned — a clear on/off switch, a warning before you arm it, and it will never sell scrolls, blessings, or potions. Sell your old tools — outgrown axes, picks and the rest can finally be cashed in. Your equipped tool stays safe. Inventory sorts by tier by default, and the scrollbars got a cleanup. ⚔️ Balance Mastery is now a true post-99 prestige — each rank costs more, and the track caps at +500% on your chosen path. Heads-up: existing post-99 mastery is recalculated to the new cost. “Master of the Holding” is finally obtainable — it had been quietly stuck one building short. 🐛 Fixes Leaderboard standing reads sanely again (no more “top 120%”).
