We've been hard at work the last few weeks building the new trade-up system, allowing you to convert lower tier coconuts into cases for a chance to open something better! Currently, one basic case can granted in exchange for any of the following: - 10 common - 6 uncommon - 4 rare - 2 epic - 1 legendary (why would you do this anyway!) This update adds a lot of new things in the backend, please reach out or leave a comment if you experience any issues or bugs! Some additional minor changes include: - Add a button to conveniently access the community market from in-game - Fix interface icon sizes to reduce game-file size, memory footprint, and improve visibility at small resolutions - Change (slightly) how the game handles new items, hopefully this resolves the (rare) bug where after opening a case it still appears in the users inventory, and would cause a crash if you tried to open it a second time. We have applied a patch to the existing game build using the official Unity patching tool to fix a security vulnerability (CVE-2025-59489) that affects games built on Unity 2017.1 and later for Windows and macOS. Please Note: This is a preemptive fix. There is no evidence of this vulnerability having been exploited, and no impact on users has been reported. The version number of the game has not been changed for this update. So, quite a lot has happened. I ended up with a computer rebuild that borked things, then in a move, and now there's a Unity issue to talk about. So, let's talk about all of it. Where's Arynnia? Long story short, my ability to release new versions of *Idle Space Navy* got compromised when my computer failed and I had to move to much different hardware. I was not able to get my signing certificate at the time to move onto the new computer, which left me unable to release new code-signed versions of Idle Space Navy - thereby hamstringing the Milestone Program and preventing further releases. I'm now in the middle of a move, but once that's done, things will hopefully stabilize, so we'll see where things can go. I'm hoping to resume development by the end of the year and am targeting version 1.00 for 2027 - I'll update the Early Access information in the coming hours to days. Will the Milestone Program be reopening? Given that some of the people who were in the original Milestone Program are no longer present in the Phoenix Aura Discord (join if you want to at this link), I will likely be reopening the Milestone Program to new testers once development resumes.
