Also I had to make sure there was 67 achievements... :] 18 new meta unlocks... - Brainal Xenoforms: Adds a new rare Xenoform called the Brainal who psychically shields nearby Xenos from harm. - Beacon Room: Adds a new Hackable room which when hacked makes all current Convicts a Priority Convict and all Xenos a Bounty Xenos. - Convict Compensation: Points from escaping Convicts are doubled until a certain amount of Convicts have been Abducted. - Golden Ticket: Can be used to fully Level Up a chosen unlocked Action or Gadget. - Extra Extra Left Action: You can now assign a third Action to the Left Button. - Gadget Pocketeer: Adds another Gadget slot. - Pong Bansheeed: Your sector Pong Balls can now even bust Banshees. - Pong Manoeuvrer: You can steer your sector Pong Balls. Based on recent player feedback, we have made the following optimizations and adjustments to the game: Increased the drop rate of purple weapon fragments from Premium Chests, allowing players to obtain and upgrade purple equipment faster. ### Unlimited Save Slots - You can now create as many save slots as you want! Click **"+ New Save"** in the save menu to create a new named slot. - Existing saves (Slot 1, Slot 2, Slot 3, Autosave) are all still there — nothing has changed about your save files. - Save and load menus now sort by most recent, so your latest save is always at the top. - The load menu only shows slots that have data (no more greyed-out empty slots). ### Bigger Rat Archive - The archive limit has been raised from **400 to 2,000** rats. Your rats are much less likely to be trimmed from history now. - Previously, the archive would start pruning at 500 rats and cut down to 400. Now it doesn't prune until 2,500 and only trims to 2,000. - Pedigree ancestors of your active rats are always protected from trimming, same as before. ### Performance Improvements - Rat lookups by ID are now instant (O(1) Map index) instead of scanning every rat in the colony and archive. This speeds up pedigree trees, COI calculations, show processing, breeding records, and any UI that resolves rat names/links. - The breeding records dropdown no longer scans the entire archive to check if each rat is archived — it uses the flag that's already on the rat. Much faster with large archives. - Save/load modals now scroll properly if you have many save slots. ### Technical Notes - Save file format is unchanged (still version 4). No migration needed — existing saves load exactly as before. - The `_ratIndex` Map is a runtime-only structure, never serialized to disk. - Save slot names are validated against a permissive regex (alphanumeric, spaces, hyphens, underscores, up to 50 chars). ### Font fix - VT323 is back! After some years of focusing on "less-is-more" and taking better care of my physical self, Moventure finally happened.If Reventure was about 100 endings, Moventure is about 100 ways to move.Here's a bit on how the movement feels in the game engine The goal is to explore how your character moves around the world, controlled with just two buttons and zero tutorials. I missed that NES-era feeling of picking up a gamepad and just experimenting. That feeling is back, but with modern game design and all the sillyness I like to put in my games.Key features:Expressive movement: Thousands of hand-drawn animations, pixel by pixel, frame by frame, and embedded in a parametric system to push the character's expression as far as possible.No tutorials: I don't like making tutorials and you don't like completing them. Important note regarding rebalances. I've rebalanced a ton of the gathering resource requirements for all the creatures so that it's not so top heavy. Meaning that hitting T4 and T5 is much more accessible now. There's going to be overlap now in some of the gathering resources, instead of a TON of overlap in the level 90 resource. This feels much better and should help address the huge wall around T4-T5. The Stove has also been re-arranged. I know change is annoying, but my goal with the shuffling around is that the recipes now get progressively more tricky/harder for the most part as you level up. Instead of Meat Stew being an early requirement for some summons, it's one of the last foods for example. Decided to leave out dungeons / minigames for now. They're in progress, but wanted to get this update out and not rush these other things. I've got a decent plan for dungeons, which I'll be implementing for the next update.
